26.12.24: I have noticed light stress on my plants. I had moved the lights further away and increased the light intensity to 70%. Unfortunately that created some issues. Namely severe palour of the leaves. To try and rectify the situation, I've dimmed the lights to about 30%, staying at the same distance, about 30 inches away. I measured the par levels, after I did this. They should a reading of anywhere between 40 and 150, at the canopy of the plants. They are all different sizes. This seems to have improved the colouring on all plants. After this evenings watering, I will monitor recovery and increase lighting intensity again slowly. I am also using the light cycle of 21/3, so the plants have many hours more light to absorb, than for example 12/12 or 18/6. 29.12.24: So I finally gave LST a shot, it's probably a bit too late, however I really want to get the most of the triploid pheno, and I went a little crazy and LST'd all plants except 2, as they're too small. I did that late last night, this afternoon I was amazed to see the plants turn their leaves back to the light source. I'm glad I overcame my fear of trying it. I'm very excited to see them adapt and progress! 😁 there are videos above with before and after of my LST process. I am pleased with the progress, considering all of my mistakes! Sour Jealousy Auto FastBuds 2025 Outside Grow Week 12 June 15-21 FLOWER 6 Well, it was another rainy week. The Almanac pics show that our month to date rainfall is 3.11 inches and 2/3 of it was in the last week. The expected weather is supposed to be sunny next week. The anticipated sunny days are a mixed blessing. The temperatures for the next 10 days will exceed 90f and with this heat the humidity often exceeds 70-80%. This means the” feels like” temperatures exceed 100F, Checking Sour Jealousy today, I saw some bud rot, I treated her with Arbor fungicide to stop the spread. Fast Buds says 60 days of flower. She went into flower May 18 so it has only been a month and needs an additional 30 days or so. Fingers crossed she can withstand any more fungus spread. I would really hate to lose another plant. I pulled off 2 caterpillars from her top and side buds. One leaf at the top looks like it was eaten. Sour Jealousy Auto is a bright sativa dominant powerhouse, packing 29% THC and reaching heights up to 63 inches (150cm). I only grew one seed and it may be an outlier, but my Sour Jealousy is only 24 inches. Based on her short stature, she will not yield anything close to what FastBuds indicated as exceptionally high yields (up to 600g/m2 indoors and more outdoors depending on pot size. She is in a 5 gallon Air pot which is sufficient for autoflowers. They also indicated that odor is strong and herbs like mint, basil, marigold etc will help mask the scent. So far mine has minimal odor. Based on these differences observed so far, I wonder if this seed was correctly labeled? I’m genuinely looking of the effects this strain provides with 29% THC- a creative and uplifting high with energetic and euphoric effects. Despite its Indica-driven genetics the accompanying physical relaxation induces some hunger and sleepiness, but not much sedation. Not much to report this week, strung up the yoyo’s on D60, stretch seems like it’s almost over, some of the colas at the back are a couple inches too close but I can’t really get at the back anymore (usual issue with my set up). All bud sites are forming well, time to sit back and watch them bulk up over the next couple weeks 😎

My little experimenting already bears fruits of knowledge, I've topped too close to the node without leaving a bit of stem, and whilst tying down the branch during LST, I had a gnarly stem split. However a cool head, some grafting tape and a day of healing and this rugged little plant picked herself right back off the floor and shot up inches overnight! More and more pistils are shooting out and this plant is stretching so much, as is typical of OG strains, my last autoflower is nearly done, after which I will put a trellis net in and this lady can have the entire place to herself!

This week was phenomenal. She is starting to grow vigorously, and I am really hoping she grows 8 tall, fat ass mains. Cream Mandarin XL auto from Sweet Seeds is already on my list to run again, excellent Auto to build a manifold. I did the least amount of LST on her that I have done on any of my 2 previous auto manifolds, so I'm hoping she grows tall and then I will see what this new Mars Hydro FC 3000 can do. I decided to start running a time lapse last week, so I posted one weeks worth of growth, but I will keep running it for at least a few more weeks. She's only a foot tall at day 35, but I'm done messing with her and hoping for a monster stretch in the next 15 days or so. Thanks for stopping by, be safe, and have a great weekend!

Might have some hermies, I plucked anything that might have looked like a sack forming haven't seen anymore show up. One of the Skunk #1s is 35 inches the other hasn't done as well and is very stumpy. A. Lemon is a happy camper, 35 inches, but is the one showing hermie. Zkittlez is a good size. Got a new tent for Christmas 48x24x84 so I have sufficient height going forward.

HI Guys, she is not doing to well, she seems to have suffered from root rod, due to a clocked air pump filter (totally my mistake, didn't even now that this needed cleaning). Anyhow, very annoying, lots of cleaning and sterilising I hope she will bounce back and will give her another week to build new roots, if she however won't do that, I will terminate this one and pop another one, as I was actually looking forward to smoking her. It looks like she is already setting up a new set of roots, so 🤞. Up top she is now looking a bit droopy showing a few nutrient deficiencies, but still growing, however a lot slower than in the beginning. Thanks for stopping by and hopefully until next week.

Wow these girls have fatten up nicely over the last week. I am giving them at least 10 more days. They have some golden hairs and they are starting to get milky. I can't wait to try this strain out. 4/28 they each have grown an inch in a day and a half. Lightly defoliated a few large fan leaves to get light to the smaller buds underneath. This grow has been so easy. They have loved the coco and clay 50/50 mix and my nutes. I haven't increased anything in a few weeks. They have only had a few spots that may have been sun burns from a few light leaks that I noticed and covered with black crayon to fill the spaces, mainly around the zipper seam. Next grow I will increase from 6" pots to 8" self watering pots. They work like hydroponic without the bubbles. Watering twice daily keeps the buildup flushed out and with fresh nute water in the bottom of the pots, I have huge root balls under the inner pot. One or two weeks to go. Pink seems like she will be done first, followed by blue and purple. Green is huge so far but hasn't started to turn golden at all. 5/1 Had a friend stop by who actually works at a grow center and she told me that my babies were ripe and ready to pick. I'm not sure how everyone does it but she told me to pluck as many leaves as I could get to before turning the light off for 24 hours and then chop. She also said to hang the whole plant since they are small autos so I didn't harm the buds in the trimming and drying process. She said once they are dry to trim the remaining leaves for butter and oil for edibles then collect the buds from the stems. Pics will be added tomorrow of the drying setup. Last grow until September because we will be traveling for summer!!

Start of week 4 for White Widow Defenetely has that indica ciompact structure! Gave her an extra 25g of Bio Grow + 25g of Bio Bloom, as shes such a big plant for this pot size already. Not doing anymore defoliation as recommended by the greenhouseseedco team👊

I topped and trained them two more times. I also lolipopped them, that is cut the bottom 2 sets of leaves and branches.

Welcome to the Zamnesia Spring Cup 🏆 Hello everyone :-) A lot has happened this week 🤗. It has developed very nicely and its roots have exploded properly 😍. It is also slowly becoming lighter, since it has obviously been slowly consuming its nutrients from the soil :-) That is why it was repotted today, mixing 3 layers with a total of 60-75 g Monster Bud Mix between the soil. Then everything was mixed and distributed well, and the plant used. Unfortunately I noticed too late that I didn't take any pictures of the root ball while repotting 🤦‍♂️🏻. I look forward to seeing how it evolves this week. Above all, I am excited to see how she is doing with the Monster Bud Mix, as I have been used to mixing everything for each wash separately 😊. During the course of this week I will also spontaneously decide whether I will give her an LST, topping fimming, etc., since I have to see how I am in the vegi phase, because the Spring Cup has a limited time 😁. I uploaded longer vids this time for the Vlogs, you don't have to watch em they're there for ya if you're interested :) ~Update~ To start off the girls look great, I'm excited that I'm back where I was when my "First Grow" failed. What's interesting to me is seeing the big difference in the SSH, the 2 previous girls I had were veracious growers, 3 1/2 days of germination and they had a tap root longer than an inch! This one is not so aggressive and has stronger sativa genetics, thin not phat. The others have been doing well, no pest yet which I'll be doing a bleach wipe down of my side of the garage to reduce the chances of an invasion. ~Note~ I'll be updating later this week with a short vid showing the progress. Howdy, So this last week has been about learning, quickly. Plant 2 has been suffering from yellowing, I noticed that at first it was a darker green than plant 1 - (first signs of Mg deficiency I have since learned). As plant 1 was doing so well until a few days ago, I originally assumed that plant 2 was just a bit of a slacker. I think basically it is more susceptible to PH differences than plant 1. First mistake was not knowing about the benefits of PH range... What I did not know earlier in the week is that Mg and Ca are only absorbed efficiently at 6.0 and above, my OCD kicked in and I refused to let the PH wander above 5.7; as from what I have read in forums, 5.7 is the sweet spot. Main lesson from last week is that I'm not going to be so anal about PH levels, I will let the PH rise to 6.3 before I drop it back down to 5.7, this will give the plants and window of time to grab hold of some well deserved CalMag before I drop it back down so it can retrieve some Mn and P if it needs any. My plants told me they were in need of Calcium over a week ago, but I naively thought that maybe I spilled a droplet of water on one of the leaves, and that caused it to burn. As I was adding CalMag+ to the solution when I replenished the reservoir. My second mistake was panicking... After realising above, I bombed the nutrient solution with 35ml of Cal Mag, bringing up the PPMS to 460, this subsequently gave the strongest plant nutrient burn. On top of this, I gave both plants a foliage spray during lights out with some diluted CalMag as well. So anyway, the main thing I have learnt is when the plants are ill, its probably best to take it easy, do a res swap at the very worst and concentrate on my PH levels first before throwing more variables into the fray. Positive notes: Plants 1 & 2 is now working on their 5th node, I know I am technically allowed to top at this point, but I am going to wait until they are working on their 7th before doing anything, this way I will be able to tell if the new growth is looking healthy, and my investigations are correct. I have now installed a Hailea 150a, with a submersible pump, this is now keeping the reservoir at 20ºc and its keeping the nutrients well mixed, I'll post a video later this week showing the set up. The roots at the top look a little dark, but I have done a sniff test and they don't smell at all, I think it is just where some of the tea has built up where the bubbles meet the air. Roots do seem rather large, maybe they have stretched so far looking for Mg and Ca :P Decided against increasing PPMS, going to do another week, so 5 weeks veg, gives the ladies some time to recover. Trimmed the burns off of leaves mainly so I can keep a track to see if damage is continuing. Anyways, I hope the above makes sense and draws other newbies attention towards PH ranging for hydro; I have posted a pic which shows the PH range for each important element. Thanks! 😊
