***May 13 No reservoir change any more until the end of flower. I'm just filling it up with water as it goes, I'll let the plant flush itself out for anything it needs. Mainly because it's gotten too big and heavy to take out of the tent comfortably. The branches are all leaning over, and the buds are starting to finish up now. I have to take the loop to it to check the trichomes, but I think in another week or a little longer I'll be able to chop her down. Man I'm so excited to see what she brings to smoke!! I've never seen a freakshow with big nugs and not looking like a wiry mess, so I am a little proud of myself for a first hydro hahaha. Still dank as hell when I open the tent. Sorry for all the late updates, things are getting busy!

Hey all! This was a crazy week. The girls continued growing up and have reached 30" (CBD+ and Moby Dick) and 23" (GG #4), pretty much outgrowing my vertical space. I removed my carbon filter (which was clogged and needing maintenance anyways) and pushed my LED lights all the way up, allowing CBD+ and Moby Dick to stay 7" away and GG#4 12" away. Although the LED manufacturer recommend a distance of at least 14", the girls seems to be liking the strong light and have not shown any light burns. One of the MD colas is only 4" away! ~~ Defoliation I've finally gained courage and heavy defoliated the girls (Schwazzing style). I removed one fan leave in each node + top leaves that were creating lots of shade. I'm looking forward to see the results of this so much controversial technique! ~~Feeding Since GG#4 presented some nut burns, they received only one scheduled feeding plus one "watering" (only Cal Mag, Florilicious Plus, and Molasses, Ph = 6.0). Next week I'll come back to the normal feeding schedule.

I will be focusing this diary on the smoothie strain but you’ll be seeing some other plants in the tent that are not the same strain. I only have room in this tent so bare with me. There are 2 Smoothie, 1 CNC, and 1 Stardawg (dog). The smoothie are the two bigger ones in the back of the tent. Now, the Smoothie from FastBuds is just killin it right now. Since I popped the beans they have done nothing but show signs of greatness. I don’t think this one is gonna slow down much either. I’m going to push these plants harder than my last harvest. I had a really really amazing harvest last time. I was even able to pull sap out of all 4 plants. 2 Zkittles and 2 LSD-25. This was all done by feeding at the right times and keeping a “moist” soil. Also I want add that I ran pretty much the entire line of Nectar for the Gods at a little less then the recommended ratios. This time I plan on going a tiny bit over the recommended ratios just to see what these plants will do. Trust me, if the plants have a bad response I will go back to the recommended ratios. The reason I want to do this is because I really think these auto strains can handle a lot more than a regular flowering cycle plant would. They can handle more stress, that’s for sure. When do you think I should add a compost tea into my regimen? Soon or wait till the plant is a little larger?

My apologies have been away for a bit but the pics are from the last 2 1/2 weeks! Other plant that was the same age turned out to be a male which its unfortunate because it was an accidental cross lol anyway she’s been growing vigourously ever since I made the switch..3 weeks almost complete and she’s a beast! Can’t wait to see the buds form, will try to post more frequently since my scheduled has cleared up some. Thanks for stopping by! Everything going nicely so far not much stretch after the first week and bud sites popping up everywhere. Day 66 - they were really bushy so decided to give them a lil hair cut, cutting away all the big fan leaves leaving all the bud sites. Day 68 - I fed them until run of today as going on holiday next week and have a pal sorting them out from Monday So far so good :) Will wait till end of the 3rd week and give them a little defoliation to improve air flow and light spread untill then there fed either everyday or every other day depending on when they need it.

It is a monster of about 160 cm, I say about because it has grown so much that it has pushed against the roof of the growbox exceeding the light. Lots and lots of weed guys. ** We remind all users that we grow two plants per variety, one worked with specific techniques and the other left to grow freely and splendidly to preserve its speed and the classic Christmas tree shape in height. Description // This plant immediately put the turbo on, it started and wanted to become big, very big. Little by little after an excellent vegetative period in the first two weeks of flowering I noticed its monster attitude.
