In this second week of veg I started adding some nutrients to the plant water. (below the recommended doses) 🔥 Since they are growing well next week I will try to apply the manifold , hoping to be able to increase the final yield of this genetics that I love. ✂️🌱

The girls are fully in flower this week which of course is a GREAT sight to see when opening the tent. The smell in the tent is so sweet and fruity it's already making your mouth water!! So this week I feed the girls with a little of the living soil veg so they are still getting a helping hand. They were also given the living soil bloom and some barley which I will admit is the first time using it but so far me plus the girls are very much enjoying!! I have done the necessary light de-foliating on all 4 girls over the past 2 weeks and more LST. Happy toking guys and girls!! This new LED’s from futur vert is the best of the best !! Worth every penny

There were two different phenotypes of this strain. One grew extremely large fluffy (medium dense) buds with a large amount of leaf. The yield was amazing. I don't weigh my weed but one plant filled a 5 gallon bucket. It was over 8ft tall and damb near as wide. This strain thrived through hurricanes, regular 50 temp swings and 50mph winds. Despite the horrible season this strain appeared to be mold proof. The other pheno grew tall and more sativa like with EXTREMELY dense buds with lots of calyxs. I don't have pictures of the other pheno as it's drying and I have to "take the picture for it to upload." OH and liquid kool bloom worked amazing.

🌗Switching to flowering this week, I reduced the length of the day by 1 hour each day until reaching 12 hours night time / 12 hours daylight on the 32rd day!🌞 🌺On the 32rd day I apply a layer of organic nutrients mixed with a little soil that I add to the top of each pot. I added 35 grams of BioBloom to each of my pots🌺 I'm doing some light defoliation again this week Happy, the growth went very well. Simply by lifting them; A light pot is a dry pot and will need more water, A heavy pot is a wet pot and will need less water. Very easy plant to harvest, didn't have too much leaves, so very easy to take out fan leaves and prepare to dry.

Not doing too bad but the buds aren’t that fat unfortunately. I’ve got 1 nice pheno and the rest just smell fairly floral. I’m sure it’ll be nice smoke but there isn’t anything jumping out at me on this one.

Day 36 I guess I can call it bloom. Nice strong pistils shooting all over. She is the tallest so far making me raise my lights a little more. Day 38 Now Californian Snow is the tallest :) Ztrawberry stopped at a perfect height, it looks like she's gonna develop into a beautiful lady. Fat white pistils all over 😻 Day 39 Happy girl got 2500ml cm bg bb bh 6.3ph ~1EC She is perfect, symmetrical, stopped stretching at about 50cm, flowers are mostly leveled, branches are strong, leaves point up unless I water. I think she's also turning purple. Beaut 😻 Day 42 I think I saw some burnt tips but she still looks super happy and healthy. The most vigorous plant I've had.

First week of flower and she is doing great. I upgraded my tent and lights for this grow on Wednesday. I received my Gorilla Grow Tent and Spider Farmer SF-4000 and set it up for my plants. She seems to be loving the new light and space. She grew around 10 inches over the last week and is almost done stretching. She is bushy but i plan to defoliate a bit this coming weeks. She is a thirsty lady too, I am feeding her everyday at this time. I am happy with how she looks and is growing. excited to see how much bud she can get off her. Hey sorry for the wait been out of town so I really have much to say but these girls have really stretched out their on the beginning of their third week they’ve only putting life watering and fed One day nutes next Day nothing Next day Water next two days nothing than repeat to keep from over watering over under watering and I must say even tho I was the person doing the work these past couple weeks these girls seem like they love the treatment they’ve been Thinking bout lowering my lights a little more tomorrow morning

End of the third week of the stretch and they certain out did stretch indeed😳. Had to crop over the tallest female - she just stretched wayyy too much and that’s gonna go against her in the rankings when we draw out our seed on each plant. The first male has dropped fully and the others are another 1-2 days out from harvest. We’ll collect all that pollen and store it for future use if it’s needed. The plants are all showing both similarities and differences - there’s an even distribution of sativa and indica leaning phenos which suggests that there is def. Some variability in terms of traits for this F1 generation. Exactly what we were looking for as we pare this down to the second filial generation. On the overall growth - absolutely no issues at all with nutritional deficiencies which is a welcome change of pace. The last while we’ve been growing some strains that have shown very odd reactions to nute changes and I suspect this is a result of certain strains simply being bred out too far. Hard to say but the radar is definitely up with the well known breeders right now. We have some real winner pheno clones that we’ve rooted and will be flowering out once we get this tent cleaned up and free of pollen. All told, the run is progressing much better than anticipated and with the rate of turnover through transition, I’m happy to say that there isn’t any one plant I won’t consider test running on the next cycle. We did have some og auto genetics in the tent for pollination as well but that plant is looking like a bit of a mutant. Not sure if we’ll even bother with testing it at this point but you never know. Expect a harvest update on the males as we move in to the flowering side of the grow and then it’s just waiting around for seed👍. Alls well for now. Background This project has been a year in strain selection (and another year in the actual making) to get to this point with a viable potential cross. It’ll be a true polyhybrid with a mix of sativa and indica leaning properties for each. We’ve combined an especially powerful hybrid sativa strain of Strawberry with an equally manageable and hard hitting strain of indica dominant Skywalker OG. The hope has always been to combine them and boil out the best characteristics of each. The strawberry is phenomenal in terms of terp profile and a mix of strong head and body effects while the Skywalker is a mind bending, body butter kind of indica with that earthy Kush profile and flowery undertones. The strawberry is prone to botrytis and fasciation but features excellent terps and yields if grown correctly. She’s Also stretchy and somewhat unruly when she gets going. The Skywalker is a contrast in growth characteristics with a squat structure, medium sized buds and excellent resilience and resistance. The plan is to seed out the available females and take cuts of what we can post-stretch to get a closer look at any differing phenos. Still very much early stages for a stabilized new strain but we’ve got the right foundation of solid genetics. Now we just gotta get it off the ground to the next generation👍. We’re predominantly focused on the plants that demonstrate that hybrid vigour and wasting no time with any problem plants or runts.
