Whew!! That was a Hot Week just past. Several days in a row of around 40 degrees followed by 38 and 39 degrees. Today however is Overcast and much cooler with about a 60% chance of rain later on. The Wifi plant hasn't seemed to mind the hot weather in fact she grew another inch or three. During summer and high temps it's beneficial for your outdoor grown plants to be given some Seaweed or Kelp solution. There is something in it that is fantastic for stress relief in all plants. It can be used at any time of the day and growth stage of the plant and is simply watered in or applied with a foliar sprayer. I also added to the soil 1 smalll scoop of Great White Mycorrhizal powder and Azospirillum. These are root innoculants that will keep the plants root zone healthy and happy. all thats needed is to thoroughly water it into the soil and your good to grow. I used my Bluelab soil ph probe to measure the soils ph which seems to be pretty stable at 6.5 so all good there not much else to report for now so I shall sign off for this week. Made a few mistakes with this first grow. To much light and under watering but she’s growing nicely today!

Commencing week 4: Day 22 on November 14th Day 22-ph'd back to 5.8x range from 5.5 to 6.1 It Day 23- added 5ml Clonex to each buck and ph'd. Ppm around 600-650 Day 24- added a little fertilizer salts for N mostly and then ph'd again. Ppm 750-850. Also turned on a few more lights as well as turned timer off to increase temps in lieu of pending storm. Also adding passive humidifier to at least help with the coming dip in humidity from snow outside. Day 25- pass few days are going well. Aside from a heavy dip in the temp and humidity last night (we have a bit of snow come already). Plants seem to be picking up the pace a little finally. Not much but A little bit which is great because it feels like I've been watching paint dry lol Day 26- plants are doing great. Seem to be happy 😄 despite or maybe because of the changes over pass two days. And..,.we have roots in water!!!!!! So far gorilla zkittlez2 and gorilla zkittlez3 both have a few roots in the nutrient solution. Now I expect growth rate and work to pick up soon. Hopefully the rest get their feet wet soon 💧 Day 28 last day of week 4 Nov 19 Some plants went from seedlings to "hardened off" this week nearly tripling and doubling in size as well as starting with the secondary growth. Some still a little behind. I've noticed all the Gorilla Zkittlez are simply growing much faster then the rest so far. And that out of the three GZ s one seems to be leaving more hybrid or possibly sativa (see pics) . Also one or two of the plants seems to have some funny traits like the Boss Hogg1 very purple and covered in baby hairs. Overall I am amped to see the growth in the coming two weeks and expect big changes 👍👍 Thank you all! who view, like, comment, follow, and support me. Week 8: This girl is a real monster!!! The purple tint now with the shimmery trichs make her the gem of the tent. My eyes rest on her often. The smells are a very sweet grapey kinda chem or gas smell. So good! It is very strong. Bump her and you stink. Supposed to go 11 weeks, but I guess we'll see :) Her super vigor makes her hungry. I could have fertilized more.

June 7: i think Mimosa Shot likes it to be a bit warmer but she’s doing alright. Long daylight hours now and warm enough so she should make up for a slow-ish start. June 9: loose scrog net is doing the job of keeping the growth tips exposed to light. Very effective. Re-arrange it a bit as needed as the plant grows. No need to even tie it off as the weight of the string is enough. Video is a tip about keeping leaves moist in dry air. Plants are much happier when their leaves also get some moisture to make up for the low humidity. June 12: looks good.

I transplanted the plants into larger pots, the photoperiodic in a 50-liter pot filled with supersoil while the auto fractal by divine seeds in an 11-liter pot hoping there are no problems. Delay on the autoflowering, humidity at 75%, pH of the osmotic water 6.5, air conditioner 25 degrees, marshydro fc4800 .

July 13: this Gorilla Cookies FF is doing great and the weather here is still cooperating. So It's week 7 of flowering for my Supafreak Girl and let me tell you, she's looking absolutely stunning! I can't help but feel proud and excited every time I check up on her progress. It's been a bit of a wild ride getting here, but it's all been worth it. The Supafreak strain definitely lives up to its name - this plant is a freak of nature in the best way possible. As we are in the maintenance phase, I'm just admiring her beauty and keeping an eye on those trichomes. It's amazing how much can change in just a day or two. I find myself constantly checking in on her, like a proud parent checking in on their child. I don't know about you, but I can't help but make jokes about how great these plants look. I mean, have you ever seen anything so green (now changing) and luscious? It's like they were born to be in a Pantene commercial. All in all, I'm just grateful to be on this journey with my Supafreak Girl. It's been a fun and rewarding experience, and I can't wait to see what the next few weeks bring. How did you create/breed Freakshow? A. Methodical selection, line breeding, and culling is the short answer. Read our About page for more details. Q. Is it an indoor or outdoor type? A. Everything I've ever worked has been outdoors, including of course Freakshow. It has been our experience that outdoor (or sun grown, as it's recently being referred to) cultivars seem to perform extremely well under artificial conditions. In the case of Freakshow, it's much more limited because the ancestry is largely older "Sativas" that didn't go through as much outcrossing. In the 70s in Santa Cruz, Haze was a favorite among surfers for the pure energy and I still have (greatly improved) stock of it around, simply because even when I made hybrids with it I always kept the original in pure form for obvious reasons. Q. What is the psychoactive effect like? A. Like the flavors, many people have commented that the "buzz" is somewhat different than other mainstream types out there. It's not entirely out of the scope of imagination that given that this strain has new alleles in so many other respects, that it could also contain new, unique cannabinoids, as well as new and unique terpenoids, some of which may not even be among the standard 16 or so that the average lab is testing for. Aside from the up, cerebral, energetic boost, some report a mild time/space warp effect. Creativity and idea induction should be mentioned, for sure. Freakshow has the pure energy effect and greatly alters perception to the positive side, so definitely destroys depression. Appetite suppression is a side effect, but the enjoyment of food is enhanced. I personally will attest to all of the above. We all have different receptor profiles, so these are just generalizations. On many occasions in the last few years, it has been observed that when pest and mildew issues were affecting other plants adjacent to in the vicinity of Freakshow plants, for unknown reasons the freaks remained entirely unaffected. This includes 0botritis, PM, various mites and insects, soil fungus, etc. We haven't heard any complaints along those lines so far, so if anyone has any problems, especially with a rigorous IPM regimen in place, we would like to hear about it. And if anyone can attest to the extreme level of resistance it seems to have we'd love to hear about that as well. Q. Does it contain web-leaf genetics? A. I thought I better clarify this because there are a few people thinking that because of an article "Growing Marijuana that Doesn't look like Marijuana" that mentions that I had worked web-leaf types years ago and had eventually turned that into Freakshow. This is incorrect and I'm needing to get ahold of the writer to have him change it. When I read the piece and saw the mistake I figured it didn't matter that much, that the actual method of breeding could just remain a "trade secret". Recently, I noticed online that a posting, "Freakshow only exists because of duckfoot" by Curious Cannabis Connoisseur, where he explains how I developed Freakshow using Duckfoot. Let me explain, about 20 yrs. ago a friend gave me a jar of seeds labeled "BC Bigbud" and I sprouted flats of hundreds to look for oddities and had found one web-leaf pheno which we named Webster. It was a female so I bred it to a normal leaf male and began selecting and stabilizing a line of Webster. About 5 or 6 generations later I had nailed it to 100% webs and had also stabilized it for a deep purple color and a nice "gingerbread" terp profile. I was busy working other lines at that point so I put Webster in the library. Also, I was having a hell of a time getting a pheno of it that flowered to my satisfaction. (it seemed to finish with a limited number of calyxes). I knew I would have to outcross it to something with a big tasty bud and restabilize it for web-leaf, and I no longer had the original BC Bigbud. I still have the Webster seeds, and trust me the thought has crossed my mind to make the cross with Freakshow, but why? Why mess around crossing things just to create something even weirder? I have heard that the "Duckfoot" also doesn't bud up well so maybe there's a correlation there. Anyway, people can do what they want to and I will too, but crossing Freakshow with some low-THC crap like ABC is in my opinion idiotic. I worked extremely hard stabilizing and perfecting a beautiful new subspecies and I believe it should be kept pure. I won't go on a rant here about the rampant crossing and the lack of line-breeding in the cannabis world in the last several decades, or where this will eventually lead us, but I will say that it's not in a good direction. Bottom line....Freakshow has no web-leaf genes, it was made using top-grade tropical narrow-leaf drug (NLD) cultivars. Q.Why is Freakshow patented? A. Although I and most others (including all the folks at HSC) believe in and subscribe to the concept of "open sourcing" because sharing in cannabis genetics was always the cultural norm, it was decided that Freakshow should be protected (1) because it is a novel and unique, not a preexisting strain (or even subspecies), (2) To keep the greedy corporate big boys from exploiting it, (3) To maintain control of the genetic refinement of it in all future generations. These little ladies were started in a cup of seed and root by Dutch Science Nutrients, they cracked within 24 hours and were then put into paper towel for another 24 hours. The roots were good and long so they were planted in solo cups filled with Stepwell Soil. We are excited to see what these two have in store for us, I guess we are taking auditions in the grow room to see who gets a spot in the yard next season! We will take a few clones when the time is right and than they will bloom. 💚✌️ *Note, we started three seeds but lost one. The root may have needed more time in the paper towel but we believe it was one of those twisty girls who got herself tied up in a knot below the soil. I myself, can relate!

Flowering day 3 since time change to 12 / 12 h Hey guys . My cutting heating broke 3-4 weeks ago, which was fixed immediately and everything went wonderfully. Now, 3 days ago, the central heating broke down in the entire room, so that at night I only have temperatures of around 13 degrees :-( . One or the other lady is slowly starting to see a phosphorus blockage, as this can no longer be absorbed at temperatures below 15 degrees, like many other nutrients :-( . A friend looked at the heating yesterday and came to the conclusion that a real company had to do it, which is by no means possible for a stranger to enter my room. I quickly ordered heating mats for all the boxes so that the ladies could at least get warm feet. That's all I have this winter full can do . Let's hope everything will be fine 🙏🏻. As soon as the heating mats are attached in the coming days, I will post them in the pictures. Now for the update. Despite the severe cold, the ladies are still doing well and have made good progres . The ladies only had to be watered once this week, each time with 1 l, because it absorbs the water very slowly because of the cold and I don't want to overwater it. I took every single plant in the pot to take a close look at their roots. These are snow white and look very healthy 🙏🏻. It was also the last time neem oil sprayed so that the last trips are finally gone. Otherwise everything was checked and a lot of planning was done, like I do with the heating mats. Since a friend had the same problem in one winter and the heating mats got 10 degrees plus on the pots, I am very confident that it will at least bring something for the last cold month 😃 🙏🏻.
