Week 3 flowering for the Green Papaya from the super sativa seeds club. All looking good at the moment, the buds are showing a nice layer of snow on the buds, very sweet and fruity, we love the Green Papaya. We did a complete defoliation already and will do some maintenance here and there.

Woche 1 der Blüte ist ein Traum. Die Ladys haben alle eine gute Höhe erreicht und haben schöne Blütenansätze entwickelt. Hier hatte es recht wenig geregnet und die Sonne kam auch recht regelmäßig durch. Mitte der Woche hatte es etwas geregnet, so das ich nicht gießen musste. Der Topf hatte durch Tagestemperaturen um die 22-25°C nicht das Problem das das Substrat austrocknet und zu nass war es auch nicht. Ich hatte einmal die Oberfläche angefeuchtet und den Ladys sonst nur beim wachsen zugeschaut und mich gefreut💚 Also wirklich eine sehr entspannte Woche. Hier und da ein paar einzelne Blattläuse abgesammelt. Es waren in der ganzen Woche vielleicht 10 Stück. Also hat sich die Pflege auch in Grenzen gehalten. Falls es mit den Blattläusen stark zunehmen sollte, werden ein paar Nützlinge in den Kampf geschickt. Ein zwei Blätter mussten entfernt werden weil ein kleiner Thrips etwas Schaden angerichtet hat. Aber sonst wachsen die Ladys einfach super vor sich hin💚 Vielen Dank fürs reinschauen💚🤙🏻

🌱 Runtz - Week 2 Update 🌱 The second week of growth is well underway, and so far, the Runtz seedlings are showing great potential, despite a small hiccup earlier in the week. 🌿 This week started with a bit of a scare when I noticed something unusual with my Root Juice fertilizer—it had gone bad, with white spots floating inside, resembling mold. I had already applied it a few times during the first week, which led to some concerns about the soil's health. I took quick action by removing the top layer of the soil and replacing it with fresh soil mixed with mycorrhiza. To combat any lingering issues, I watered the plants with a solution of Clean Soil and Cannazym to cleanse the medium and support root health. Thankfully, the Runtz plants didn’t seem to be affected negatively—they’ve maintained steady growth and appear happy and healthy! It’s a relief to see their resilience. Looking forward to wrapping up Week 2 with bigger, stronger plants and setting the stage for explosive growth in the coming weeks! The temperatures, humidity, height, and watering volume(if measured) in grow conditions are all averaged for the week. The pH is soil pH. Any watering done by me is well water which is 7.6 pH and 50° F. Any listed nutrients are ml/gallon of soil spread evenly across the top of the soil. Daylight hours this week will be below 13.5. I can't use halves in the grow conditions, so I'm noting here. Day 1 we had a high temperature of 90°F. Skies were sunny and it wasn't as humid as it's been. I watered about 5 gallons per pot ,once, from the well. Day 2 we had a high temperature of 83° F with partly cloudy skies. I watered each pot about 5 gallons once. Day 3 we had a high temperature of 81°F. There was plenty of sun and I watered about 5 gallons per pot. Even though the girls are drinking more, the cool weather, and them rooting through the fabric pots into the soil, has kept me from watering twice a day. The girls cleaned up nice after the fungicide treatment. They look great. Day 4 we had a high temperature of 78°F. Skies were clear and sunny. I watered about 5 gallons per pot with well water. The air has been a little drier with this cool from and the girls are loving it. Day 5 we had a high temperature of 77°, clear sunny skies, and humidity at 66%. This weather is very fall like and the plants are loving it. We've got rain in the weekend forecast though. I hope we miss it. Day 6 we had a high temperature of 77°. Skies were partly cloudy to mostly sunny. The humidity dropped into the 40%'s today. The plants are loving this weather. I watered about 5 gallons per pot from the well. The girls are getting their trichromes up. Day 7 we had a high temperature of 86°F. Skies were partly cloudy and we had just a few minutes of very lite rain. I watered about 5 gallons per pot with well water. This week was a success. The powdery mildew is an ongoing issue but it's controlled by spraying weekly with Growers Ally fungicide. The weekly rain is what's making it so troublesome. These girls have slowed their stretch and seem to be leveling off. They are smelling sweet and loud. They're showing pink pistil. I'll be feeding these tomorrow as they're running out of nitrogen. Daylight hours finished up the week at 13 hours and 20 minutes.

But growing started to look more and more like work because i was more busy with programming my controllers for the ph / humidity / lights / co2 / temperature. Also the realization that i have 2 children and my own house made me nervous for the authorities because where i live growing is not allowed. So i decided to grow smaller where i previously had 200x180x200 space i opted for 70x70x160 with the result that i can only grow 1 strain at a time. The intention is to remain self-sufficient in this way and still be able to exchange or give away something here and there at a party. Although I am sponsored I will not be able to grow every strain because not every strain can deliver the result I need to remain self-sufficient. If you know of an auto strain or photo strain that takes at least 11 to 15 weeks I would like to know so that I can grow it in the future and of course I will try to set a record for that grown strain. Because during the 4 grows that I can do per year I can only try to achieve a record since I cannot show you multiple strains at once. Starting 2º flora week

Week 2 of the flowering phase flew by 🌱💨. Unfortunately, I may have overdone it with potassium or kept the water level too high – the classic signs of clawing leaves were evident. Thankfully, they seem to be recovering now and are back under control 💪🍃. My IR night experiment is showing clear results 🌌: The plants exposed to infrared radiation at night stretched significantly more. This might be especially beneficial for this indica-dominant strain as it leads to better canopy distribution, improved airflow, and reduced risks of mold and disease. Plus, the light distribution is much more efficient now, which I’m excited to see pay off. On the downside, my Orange Sherbert turned hermaphroditic 😔. It’s hard to pinpoint the cause – overfertilization seems unlikely since I’m using only organic nutrients. I suspect it might be linked to an E-field experiment I’ve been running. To confirm this theory, I’ll conduct a new grow with a similar strain next year to see if the electric field negatively impacts cannabis development. Stay tuned for updates! Zum Glück scheinen sich diese jetzt zurückzubilden und sind wieder unter Kontrolle 💪🍃. Mein IR-Nachtexperiment zeigt bereits deutliche Ergebnisse 🌌: Die Pflanzen, die nachts mit Infrarotstrahlung bestrahlt wurden, haben deutlich stärker gestretcht. Das ist besonders bei dieser indica-dominanten Sorte wahrscheinlich von Vorteil, da es zu einer besseren Verteilung des Blätterdachs führt. Dadurch verbessert sich die Luftzirkulation, das Risiko von Schimmel und Krankheiten wird minimiert, und die Lichtverteilung wird effizienter. Ich bin gespannt, wie sich das weiter auswirkt! Leider hat meine Orange Sherbert gezwittert 😔. Woran das genau liegt, kann ich schwer sagen. Eine Überdüngung halte ich für unwahrscheinlich, da ich nur biologischen Dünger verwendet habe. Ich vermute, dass mein E-Feld-Experiment eine Rolle spielt. Um das zu bestätigen, werde ich nächstes Jahr einen neuen Durchlauf mit einer ähnlichen Sorte machen und prüfen, ob das elektrische Feld tatsächlich eine ungünstige Rückentwicklung der Pflanze verursacht. I apologize for this diary not being thorough. I haven't had the extra time to fully document, or even give this grow the attention it deserves. Now that I have a couple grows under my belt, I feel more comfortable and know what to expect. I wanted to try and keep things as simple as possible, so I decided to try the Lucus Formula and only use Maxibloom through the full life cycle. For the first few weeks, I used nothing but filtered tap water, and once the plants had a few set of leaves, I began with a half feeding. After a week, I bumped to the full 7g/gal of the nutes and have continued that to this point, week 11. One plant looks to be at least a week closer to being ready to chop. I plan to flush after this week and cut the larger one, and then maybe one last feeding for the other. I think I will only grow 1 plant at a time going forward as I always have an issue with keeping both healthy and on pace. And LST works great in this setup.

love seeing all the buds getting thicker and thicker by day. Tempted to harvest it early but I HAVE to be patient. Just a few more weeks and they'll be solid. Bottom leaves are dying so there's quite a bit to clean up but overall, really happy with how the ladies are turning out.
