The tent has been cleaned. Flowering day 29 Today the plants and buds were checked for health and cleaned. Flowering day 30 Today was poured again. This mam she got 1 liter of water. (See nutrient table for nutrient addition). Of course, the plant was checked for its vitality 🧐😅. Flowering day 31 The humidifier was refilled a little and the tent cleaned 👍. Days of flowering 32 Today 1.2 liters of water were poured. (See nutrient table for nutrient addition). Fans, fans, electrics have been checked for functionality 😊. Flowering day 33 The plant has been carefully checked for pests, etc. Flowering day 34 Today 1.6 liters were poured, so that it had about 10% drain 👍 For nutrient addition, see the nutrient table. Hello everyone ! I am a bit delayed because we recently started a new and exciting project and it has been taking most of my time, but here we are. We change the light schedule to 12/12 for the final 3 weeks of flowering, and this week we fed the girls one last time (same concentrations as last week). Starting today (7/3) we flush every other day until few days before harvest. Keep in touch because friday we will have very good news ! C'ya !

I realized there may have been a bit of a light leak in the late morning. I taped everything up more. In the future I want to maintain better reflective integrity on the inside of the tent. Everything looks good. The buds are still growing a little taller and filling out. The CBD Blue Shark is super frosty. It's actually absurd. Orange hairs are coming out in all plants. I was hoping to be able to keep the exhaust window open overnight to let the overnight temps drop 10 degrees to encourage the purples in the WC genetics, but it's too humid now to have the window open without the grow light on. Otherwise the rh goes up to 70% overnight and it's not worth the risk. Next year I'll flip earlier when it's still colder and drier out for the harvest window. This flowering period has been really cool. I've really been noticing the process of flowering. The calyxes open up and turn into pistils and sugar leaves, and more keep appearing and popping every day. It's awesome. March 04 watered again with straight water. They're finally drinking more than once a week! The pistils seem more red today than yesterday. I got a $30 micro camera to check trichromes, they all seem clear for now (there is some glare in the pics). No amber for now at least. March 05 found some amber trichromes March 06 lots of leaves are going yellow. We're definitely in the home stretch. March 06 I've been a little worried about the size of the colas. There's not much sticking out past the canopy. I've also noticed a bunch of new leaves that have started popping out and I was a little worried that the buds were foxtailing or herming. I've had temps go up to 30 a couple times in the morning before I open the window. But it seems that the buds are filling out more and getting fatter, not just foxtailing, and I think they're getting ready for one last push, not just getting full of leaves for no reason. It changes a lot every day. Tomorrow is the 23rd week of the grow. I switched the lights on a Thursday so this Thursday will mark 8 weeks of flowering time and the beginning of my harvest window (8-9 weeks for both strains).

11/3 - Today is technically the first day of Week 5 and also the first day I could see a visible drop in her water level since her last check-in (~12 hours apart). As a result, her ppms shot up to around 800. I diluted the solution with straight tap (7.5pH, 170ppm) since her pH was registering around 5.3. This brought her up to 5.6pH and 670ppm (1.0ec + tap, 500ppm of nutrients). I would have liked to adjust her pH more, but the water level ended up at the bottom of the basket. I'll adjust further as necessary. The other day while attempting to LST her top branches, they ended up snapping off, so I just topped her down one node and broadened her other LST to make her as squat as possible. Once I am able to find a suitable individual ScrOG screen, I will put it on her. 11/4 - I wasn't even planning on doing an update today, but I want to note a few changes. The first of which is a visible difference between her foliage density in a span of 36 hours. Her root bundle is over a foot long and getting more wound up every day. I removed her LST ties in order to take advantage of the ScrOG screen apparatus (see notes below). After lights came back on, she measured 645ppm and had another notable drop in water level. Currently, I am preparing another nutrient solution that closely matches what she is feeding on now. I will be upgrading her to a 5 gallon bucket. I will be aiming for 1ec of nutrients/additives (500ppm + Tap on my meter, Hanna Primo .5 conversion). Tap measured 180ppm, so target ppm would be 680. Later that same day... So I finished upgrading her to a 5 gallon bucket before I actually got done writing the update. Added one photo showing new 5 gallon setup. Solo ScrOG test mk1 - In an attempt to do a ScrOG, but maintain control over each bucket, while still having relatively easy access to each reservoir, I decided to throw together this little contraption. I removed the lowest complete segment of a tomato cage, leaving a short "tail" beyond the lower ring to act as a peg to insert into corresponding holes in the lid. The lower ring is 10" in diameter and the upper is approximately 12" in diameter. Each ring is 11" apart. I would prefer to have a shorter segment, but I haven't worked out exactly how to do this yet. I would prefer to set the screen height at around 6" above the bucket instead of 11". This will have to suffice for the time being while I let my latent conscious work out a solution or one is provided by the community. Above each cage will sit a coated wire fence with grids measuring ~2"x3", as shown in the above picture. 11/5 - Uploaded short video showing Solo ScrOG Apparatus in place. Saturday Jan 10, 2020. Germinated seeds in pH 7 water for 24 hours January 11, 2020. Soil was ammended with homemade worm castings, activated bio char, endo/ecto microhyazae, diastatic malt and high quality basalt and gypsum. After root tip emerged seed was placed in soil around 1-2in deep, root tip facing down. Day 1: January 14th. First day of seedling stage as it has risen above the soil and the chotyledons have opened.

I got a new, bigger light. The old one just didn't seem to be doing much at 25w. This new one is 150w. Been keeping up the same feeding. Every feeding is 200ml. Every other one has 5ml of the grow big. Now that it seems to be at flowering stage, I'll be moving onto big bloom for nutrients next feeding. Staying at the same 5ml. I hear with plants less is more. I'd say I'm watering plant two every three days. Plant one has miracle grow in it. So I water it maybe once a week. The m.g. retains water for a very long time.

So frosty and starting to swell, amazing smells hard to describe. Pleasure to grow and very resilient so far compared to other strains I've grown.. holiday harvest 2023!

Into Week 8 now and really filling out. A good solid healthy outdoor plant with little to no extra care or intervention so far, really happy with it and excited to see how it finishes out. Scratched in some Coast of Maine Fish Bone Meal toward the end of the week and then lightly watered in for a little feed.

sound week on the soil. this grow is really lovely. starting to see some promising bud sites. I think i might trim too much but i want the buds to get the light. topped them and they recovered very fast. still yet to see some purple. dont want to mess with pH just yet

It's week eight of flowering, and Purple Punch x Lemon Drizzle has developed really nicely. The buds are relatively thick and firm, and the sweet aroma got me looking forward to the first taste test. Unfortunately, Lemon Cherry Gelato has not developed as well. The buds are not as thick and firm as I would like yet, but the smell is truly breathtaking.

She is tiny but strong.

Plucked a few more leaves but other than that just feed them this week including bloom. Also gave them some rice starch (from boiled rice water collection) on day 42 as a boost for the microbes 👍 Turned the IR off now and turned up to 34000lux

Que pasa familia, como podéis comprobar tienen un pequeño exceso de nutrientes, algunas hojas doblan hacia abajo, no obstante , esta variedad está empezando apestar con un olor bastante peculiar. Es una variedad que como te descuides también crece bastante, controlamos los parámetros de la temperatura y la humedad en lo establecido, 0 problemas en ese aspecto. Veremos cómo reaccionas esta próxima semana al overdrive y si notamos ya las diferencias.
