As of day 14, the Blackberry Kush is still exhibiting it's abnormal leaf growth. I've only ever seen this on another genetically purple strain, so I am curious if there is a connection. If anyone has seen similar issues in their own plants let me know! It's growth hasn't been too bad, and I am sure it's going to continue to take off over the next week! I usually top my plants between day 14 and 21, so i am hoping it is growing vigorously enough to prevent any stunting. I haven't seen any adverse effects from temporarily switching to my plentiful dry cal-mag, so I am happy about that so far! I am still adding a similar EC worth of Cal mag (.5) so it's good to have dialed in a rough equivalent. I hope everyone is staying safe, and happy growing! 👍🌱 Day 15: the leaf growth continues to be very screwy, and even if it's at least partially a genetic issue I continue to triple check all my practices and parameters. The PH drifts up mildly in my reservoirs between cleaning/remixing of nutrients, but it is going from roughly a 5.8 up to a 6.2 (at worst) with no change in the EC/PPM. Between the lack of EC drift and lack of smell, I don't think there are any major bacterial issues. The outflow PH is also acceptable (5.8) and the outflow EC is around .2-.3 above inflow, which is also acceptable. I dug into the coco a little bit, and the medium is not oversaturated with water (it is always a bit "fluffy" with good drainage and never compacted) and the roots are white and healthy. With the healthy vigorous growth of the other Blackberry in the same conditions, it brings me back to this being at least partially a genetic issue. I looked through grow questions of other diaries for similar leaf issues, and it seemed that most were either blueberry or blackberry strains from a range of breeders. This could be purely a coincidence, but it does make me wonder. The grows with similar issues seemed to otherwise have no commonalities in how they were grown. I am going to keep trying my best with this plant regardless, so I hope it pulls through alright! Day 17: being very careful with my PH and keeping it a bit lower, to rule it out as a possible cause of the twisted leaves and less vigorous growth. I am keeping it between 5.5 and 6 for the time being to make sure there is no lock out of micro elements like boron. As per the comments, I am being more accurate be using a pH pen as opposed to drops which I may have misjudges. I topped the plant, which is definitely a risk! But I am hoping for some healthier leaves to come in, and the plant hasn't stunted so far! It has grown the number of nodes it should have for its age, it just not as filled in and lush as I would like it to be. Day 19: I have been monitoring PH especially carefully, taking a few measurements per day and keeping it between 5.6 and 5.8 (a little on the low side). The runoff is consistently under 6 as well. EC and other conditions have stayed where they should be as well. I reduced any PH drift by running the air pump for the res 24/7, instead of just for mixing and before fertigations to rule that out. But I haven't seen any overall improvements for the leaves so I am reverting back to my theory of a genetic issue with this particular plant. It's growing larger and it's stems are thickening, so I'm just going to keep it growing as well as I possibly can and see what it yields!

I'll continue to plug breeders/vendors that I feel deserve the advertising. I won't EVER plug a Seedsman bean! How time flies... Start of week 6 is it?? I feel I've put these girls a week behind, but then again I'm sure they'll bounce back just as hard as they have already. I just keep stressing these bitches out 🤣. so far have ive topped both, supercropped TF out of em (should have tied em down again too), swazz'd (to an autoflower point I guess)... what else can I do to hurt these girls feelings?? I can tell anyone that actually reads all of this I am going to drill their main right before harvest with the 48hr dark period.. Just put the net in today to keep a hold of em for now. Have another to use for when they need support. I plan on scooting this one up a bit as it stretches and branch them out some more. These branches are pretty stick like, so no more bendy bendy to those or snappy snap will occur. Day 35- nothing special that hasn't been mentioned already. Running the GHE wk 1 bloom feed at full strength (1237ppm total). Will continue to adjust strength depending on how much TDS drops in 12/24hrs. May update later with a vid to show how thick the main is. BTW I forgot to set timelapse for day 34, so the carnage and immediate aftermath won't be added to the week unfortunately. Day 36- i accidently farted while working in the closet tonight... i think i may have to burn everything in there now and start from scratch.. it was THAT bad!.. i dont think a million apologies will make up for making these girls inhale THAT, nor flush it out of their systems. damnit!! Day 37- woke up to a puddle in the catch tray!!! couldn't find it so i ripped out the net. didnt really want it in there yet, but was helping with a few branches. ended up being the silicon light protector pad in the back directing splash from the dripper next to it right out a LST hole i drilled in the bucket. easy fix.. RES change tonight. same week 1 bloom medium strength since its the same as week 2 formulation. ended up being 1327 after PH corrections. water started off 300ppm calmag and started using hydroguard again since the h2o2 did the trick a while back and we're in the clear. plants looking awesome, and have another 19 days before another major defol. uploading vid of a new system im working on as a teaser for the next grow... its far from finished... but the final product will be showcased later on. Bigger version of this waterfarm and its upgrades. Plus something a buddy wants me to try, but I'm waiting on the plated titanium mesh to show from China to finish that piece and bring it to show and tell for everyone to see. Day 38- PM RES change due to TDS drop from 1327 to 902 in 24hr. WG starting her droop letting me know. She sure does pump right after a fresh change. Must have went light on my measurements cause I ended up in the 1100's. As long as the ratio is right, that's what matters. I don't know exactly WHAT they're eating, just that they are. Adding anything could risk a lockout. Looks like WG is trying to tell me to back off on the Nitrogen?? Maybe dialing it back a bit on accident worked out for the best.. Mild defol tonight to open up those bud sites. supercropped a few more fresh stretch limbs on GC. Day 39- selective leaf plucking tonight. Bare minimum to keep things opened up. RES change later in their day, tomorrow for me. Will be lowering the nitrogen a hair since 2 or 3 of WG leaves are curled downward at the tip. Will update with the breakdown after the fact. Day 40- WG has been looking hungry since yesterday. Don't blame her cause RES is down from 1100's to mid 7's. Even with topping off with 300ppm calmag'd water around 2.5L a day now. Changed RES before they woke from their nap. Modified week 2 transition GHE "medium". Breakdown as follows: 2 gal calmag'd water - 300ppm Micro - 11.6mL Grow - 11mL Bloom - 14mL RES totals after PH corrections - 1253 @ 5.54. Day 41- WG looking hungry again... RES was already down 200 from its change not even 12hrs ago and down 1.5L. top off, PH adjust. changed RES during their night, right before "sun rise". same modified formula as yesterday. need to bump it up so EC doesnt drop as fast. GC need to pick up the pace, cause i dont want WG getting full on amber by the time GC is done. random plucks here and there to keep things kinda opened up without taking off too much ATM. few leaves on GC showing small brown spots, calmag def?? hmm.. already using 5mL per gallon to get to 300ppm.. *edit* looks like the start of a calcium deficiency. Odd, cause I'm adding 5ml/gal now as per the bottle. Raises ppm from 80 to 300. How much is too much?? Going to try 7mL per gal for a few days and see if we can nip this in the butt. As always. My apologies have been away for a bit but the pics are from the last 2 1/2 weeks! Other plant that was the same age turned out to be a male which its unfortunate because it was an accidental cross lol anyway she’s been growing vigourously ever since I made the switch..3 weeks almost complete and she’s a beast! Can’t wait to see the buds form, will try to post more frequently since my scheduled has cleared up some. Thanks for stopping by! Last week before flushing🌈

A great week for the girls, an explosion of flower growth. They are not the largest Autoflower’s, but they are robust. The main cola is about 9 inches, with tight bud spacing and stacking. The satellite buds are also nice size with some good density. These girls have not shown any issues with the cronk nutrient/dosage that has been given, while some of the others have been more finicky. They are feeling greasy, and have a some good terps starting as I open the tent. RH has been kept between 55-58 % while temps have gotten as high as 81, but typically hover around 78 degrees. They are getting close to a gallon of water at feed time, which is about every 4 days. I’m happy with these girls so far as there are a several weeks left in their cycle. Happy Gardening 🇨🇦👊❤️

Our candies for real OGs, go well under 110w led cob😎 .. share the space with another autoflowering (diary CRITICAL 2.0) and two other feminized (diary 2 COOKIES KUSH) and another other plant (diary COOKIES on The Kush ) ... the temperatures are falling, and now they are perfect ... humidity is always stable around 70/75% ... After starting the diary last week, I have previously treated them with neem oil + potassium soap, due to thrips ... I used a very small brush to try to stress as little as possible .... the plants proved to be strong and reacted well to the treatment .... I can't say the same about the three Cookies (You'll see what happened in the diary update😅) I gave them a bit of root juice for the second time, about 0.5 per head in 2l of total H2o, about pH 6.5 They seem to grow very well and quickly ..but we are only at the begging...so... By the next update Bye 😉✌️

Day 47 ( day 10 flowering) Holy moly these ladies are a fast strain. They are well ahead in terms of flowering development with all three of them showing their black and white buds off so well. They are very aesthetically worthy of growing out so fat and I cannot wait to see the finished girls. #1 is by far the biggest overall as it the case with all the LOS pots. The soil is 100% and I dont see me changing this medium for the forseeable future. Her growth has been steady to this point and is clearly focused on her buds now. she is nicely spread out in her pot with lots of space below for air movement. #2 is still looking slightly pale and my decision to not top or train her could have paid off as she is keeping good pace with her LOS sister for canopy height at least. the paling is getting less now and she has some great looking branching and budding happening. #3 Is the little girl of this family and is building buds all over her frame now. she has been trained a little but it has kept her very low and stout. Overall they are blowing me away bit the ecothrive is a clear leader for me here.

Hello beautifull people! Final week of feeding. Im already feeding nutes and water on and off. After this week will start a 2 week flush. The fall colours are setting in which is pretty nice. Other than that frosty and smelly. You can tell the end is near. Leafes yellowing a lil, hairs turning brown. Recorded the grills to this time.

Im super happy with this week, buds keep growing, i cuttet off some leaves here and there but no huge amounts, only to keep it well circulated and lower the risk for mold and stuff. If it keeps growing at this rate im gonna end up with some really huge main colas

Super Woche, jeder Tag Sonne. Das sieht man auch. Die Blüten der bananas schwellen an, die ersten (3+5) werden als erste fertig. Sind schon schwer und vor harz triefend...sehr aromatisch. 2/3 der trichome schon milchig. Die sweet zz 2,3,4 sind in blütewoche 3, Nr.1 hat jetzt erst angefangen.die is super gewachsen und hat die meisten äste. Nr.5,die kleinste zz mit 27cm ist weiter als ihre Schwestern, in blütewoche3. Die critical ist voll im Wachstum. Hat das toppen und training gut angenommen und verzweigt planmäßig. Die special queen #1 wächst langsam, aber sie wächst. Hat wohl nur schwache Wurzeln bilden können. Ich hab sie getoppt, um sie etwas zu mehr Wachstum anzuregen. Mal sehen, sie hat noch 5 bis 7 Wochen Zeit zu wachsen . Läuft super, bis nächste Woche ✌️

Day 1 of flower

Pre-flower time... Top dress feeding for the first time for this lady added with some worm casting. Switching lights to 12/12 in a few days, Monday but until then each day I'll decrease the lights. Other than that things have been super easy, once again she's strong. She's thick she's healthy she's happy. If I can count correctly I may have about 16 tops, so things will be clear later on In flower. We'll see the true tops. Plus she is putting off a really leafy greeny smell, if that makes any sense. Other than that looking good
