10/18, day 74 While only getting a tiny bit taller, the colas are bulking up, trichomes are developing, and the colors are amazing. She's so pretty! We're starting to take more stemmed leaves off in preparation for harvest, and they are ready to come off, with beautiful yellow fading. There are sooooo many reddish-orange hairs, and it seems most of the tops are being taken over by purples now. 10/21, day 77 Violet's leaves are turning brown and beginning to curl now. When looking at her trichomes, it seems there is not as much amber today as there was yesterday somehow. Every time we open the cabinet, it seems she has changed. 10/23 day 79 Violet has been exploding with trichomes the last couple of days, and I'm just like WOW!! Upon doing more research on trichomes and their development, I found an article that explains things so nicely (Link: https://www.greencultured.co/cannabis-trichomes-overview/ ) In this article, I learned about the three different types of trichomes: bulbous, capitate sessile, and capitate stalked. The stalked being the tall pretty ones we like to see, which also contain the most resin. At a certain point, the short sessiles develop into the stalked, increasing from 30% to 80-90%. This is kind of far down the article in the section titled "Latest Cannabis Trichome Research." It also explains that the stalked trichomes contain 16 cells while sessile trichomes only contain 8, so the stalked trichome explosion Violet has been having is doubling her medicinal value. I believe that her increasingly strong smell is a sign that this is good information, so I encourage you to check it out. I do not know them, nor have any arrangements with them, I really did just find the article that helpful. Oh, Violet, our time together is going to be over soon!!

This is week is going good. I can see that Green sensation 2 ml is a bit too much. I see some leafs with yellow burns spots. So I will give her less Green sensation and see if it helps. But so far so good. She smells amazing its really Danked.

Tents are the best in the game and mine ain't for camping folks goodnight......

At the end of week 6 the buds are bulking up and the trichomes are going milky with red hairs pulling in will wait for more amber trichs before harvest which I anticipate around week 8-10.

2 weeks now , I had some mold on my soil I scrapped out with a Spoon , I added more soil & everything seems Healthy! Also had mini fits but they are no longer with us

Hi Growmies, I feel I had a root issue, may have even been root rod. So as I saw a few of the very deeply submerged roots turning brownish and decay, I decided to generously cut away the affected areas and cleaned everything with hydrogen peroxide as good as I could and then properly rinsed the whole system. It seems, however, like she has started a whole new set of roots that started to submerge after I started feeding the orca from plant success (can be seen in the video below). Can highly recommend this product! She has also not show any signs of stress due the suspected root issues. Other than that she is a super pretty indica lady :) almost crazy how symmetrical she is. I have trained all main colas horizontally until the canopy had evenly opened up. Now I will let her grow towards the scrog and depending on her stretch, I will flip her at some point towards the middle or end of next week. purple punch is looking great and smells even better There are 2 purple punch plants in this grow and they are defenately producing different types of flowers they both smell the same tho but look completely different. one leaning more to the sativa and the other lookes indica all the way. im going to run them in ice water during the flush weeks to see if either one shows some purple just another three weeks or so then it will be harvest time i cant wait smoke some of each type to compare sisters from one another one is skinny and the other is big boned and both smell kick ass. having a hard time staying in the 70s its gotten quite warm the last fiew days and has reached 84 had to open the tent door to get it down to 78 when the lights are on hopefully it wont get any warmer before harvest time . in 3 more weeks

Hey now, I hope everyone is having a great holiday weekend. This little deformed lady is still going fairly strong, she is not growing quite as fast as the other two autos in the tent, but I think she could still put out some nice flowers. I am still feeding her silica, cal mag, and just veg nutrients. I did top her yesterday on day 34 as she is still not showing many pre flowers, so I just topped her so she doesn't get too tall. I have not done much LST on her yet but I may do some this week. I did change the Medic grow spectrum to the F1 spectrum this week which is the flower spectrum. I am also running the UV/IR bar for about 75 minutes every day before lights off, and I now have the light cranked up to 100%. I will start to transition to flower nutrients probably next week, depending on how tall she gets and how soon she transitions to flower production. Not much to do this week except keep the reservoir clean, full, and in the proper PH range. If any colas get crazy higher than the others I will correct, but other than that she can do her thing from here on out. Day 78 - pheno 1 was cut down, id normally hang dry the whole plant but decided to do it in branches instead. Second pheno has been left in darkness as i haven't had the time to cut. Pheno one is hung up and drying.. Room Humidity 60/60. As soon as she's dry enough I'll finish trimming her up. Then put them into jars. Might use boveda 60% packs but I'll see. Smells strong!
