We've made it to week 3! (10/12/20) I'm very happy with how the girls are going, they have definitely put in a HUGE amount of work over the past 7 days. Plants 3 & 8 are very similar(extremely fat leaves & extra bushy) Plants 1 & 5 are similar (smaller phenos reacting to nutes slightly differently) & Plants 2, 4, 6 & 7 seem to be a cross between the previously mentioned phenos(not too small and not too big/bushy & reacting to nutes fine) Feel free to compare Week 1, 2 & 3 to see the differences. Nutes are staying the same this week, although I will be spacing feedings out a little bit further(18 hours-ish), as well as feeding straight PH'd water once a fortnight. I am contemplating hooking my simple drip-to-waste irrigation system up, although the girls are pretty close to the medium still and the halos sit 5-10cm above the medium, meaning fan leaves would be drooping onto the wet halos, so I'll give it another week and see how they're doing :) Update 11/12/20 - day 22 The girls have beefed up quite a bit over the last 24 hours, I'm really looking forward to seeing a stretch soon :) No feeding today & will water plain ph'd water tomorrow. Update 12/12/20 - day 23 Gave the girls straight ph'd water today with little run off. Veg growth is really starting to boom now, looking forward to seeing where this grow goes! I'm gladly accepting any tips or tricks, as I'm still only a beginner to indoors. Update 13/12/20 - day 24 Girls are looking great today, not much to report. They didn't get a feed or watering today as the medium was still wet after a pure watering yesterday. Update 14/12/20 - day 25 There's been a big increase in growth over the past 24 hours. All the girls besides the 2 smaller phenos look 100% happy, the smaller ones have looked a little weird since day 1(Weird as in colour of the fan leaves look deficient of something, but I'm not sure what. The girls will be getting a full feeding today. There's still no signs of sex but they are feminised seeds. Update 15/12/20 - day 26 Girls are looking happy today. Temps are back to normal after a heat wave in my city(its only going to get hotter from here on out). No feeding/watering today, pots are heavy/wet enough. Started using iphone for photos now, my only lens for my DSLR is useless for most grow related photos. I will upgrade my lens before next grow. I received my new silenced fan today! I couldnt be any happier :) It is a silenced Sigilventus SE-A150J, which I have set-up with a brand new Can-lite carbon filter. I went from a rocket loud eBay fan to a completely silent inline EC fan :D I hope the girls like the silence! Update 16/12/20 - day 27 The girls are continuing to boom! and I'm over the moon about it :D I gave them a full feeding today. I have seen white pistils coming out of calyx's on most of the girls, so i'm hoping they start to flower soon. I'm having weird issues with my humidity, it seems to be fine at 40-50% for 70% of the day, but the remaing 30% of the day it goes up to 60-65%. Temps stay the same in the 5x5 tent, I have ducted air-con in the house which is on most of the day. Thanks for viewing! :)

Week 13 not a bad week if I do say so my self …guna tie down this week and begin spraying silver thiosulfate on donor plants then next week I’ll throw the donor plants into flower and begin the actual breeding project …which ever specimen reverses first shall be collected and used to pollinate which ever one doesnt will be killed and removed acord

Day 50 Flowering: Well here we are with only approx 13 days to go for these Expert Seeds ladies. They have behaved very well this week with nothing bad to report at all thankfully The gnat issue is dealt with now so no further worry on that score either. Mimosa Lemon continues to confuse me as to what fonexoect from the coming weeks. Normally I can begin to plan the end and dry/cure upcoming but these buds are so airy and loose that I cannot imagine how they will look dry !!. The normal swell weeks and ripen i would be seeing now are not happening at all so I wonder what she WILL do with the last few weeks. While i am becoming dissolute about their yield and bud production , I don't doubt the potent smell andnlook they are producing. A mention of" Dr Grinspoon looking" has made a valid point as she does remind me so much of that strains appearance. I do wonder if a long flowering is on the cards for this strain. The colas and flowers are very potent looking up close but the size and density are very unappealing as yet. Glueberry is a totally different kettle of fish with the dense and hard byds that I do understand and feel comfortable working with. lol She is really starting to smell LOUD now. My fingers are left with a diesel smell for a while after handling her. My mistake early on has kept her size smaller but her comeback is brilliant . She is a bushy lady though and her inner growth is hiding smaller but worthwhile buds. I can see how the density jas allowed some damage from moisture so need to keep them well aired down in the canopy now. Shebhas approx 8 decent sized colas that are swelling nicely. Both ladies are now on their 4ml/L Dragon force until the next update so lets see hownthat can bulk up these ladies in theor final 2 weeks. Both drinking very my well every 3 days now so all plain sailing hopefully . Be safe and well Growmies.

I might switch the lights in the next days. Depending on her growth. Day44: Added some water and moved the camera a little further away. Day45: She felt lonely, so I got her a friend... Theobroma Cacao. New seedling that needs the warmth + humidity. Hopefully surviving winter. Day46: I decided to take some zoomed in stills of her. To show off her beauty. The purpling of the branches really make this lady something special. In some of the shots it might look like her leaves are yellowing, but it's just the angle of the light. You can see on the photo that I took from the top, that all leaves are a healthy dark green. At least I now have proof that she's a lady. She's short and stubby, but I'm not really growing for amount. I just neeed 50g, after all (hehe) Day47: She grew like a demon overnight. I'll check the height tomorrow.

Day 32: Had been using lst to get the canopy on an even level. That caused it to get pretty wide for a 2x2 tent. Started training it to grow up now since it can not get any wider. ***Update: Got a bigger tent, 4x2, doesn’t help with how wide it’s getting, but allows for a lot more room vertically, about another 1.5 feet. Also upgraded the lights and it responded rather quickly. It’s filling out and I trimmed some large lower fans leaves a couple more times to allow for air flow and new bud sites to get better light.

Last week of this incredible journey started her flush yesterday and she’s finishing up very nicely leaves are yellowing out Buds are ripening very deliciously and looking and feeling very very Dence this is gonna be a good harvest Day 100 still no more mold detected i think we are in the clear but it was quite the scare for sure now hoping it stays that way untill harvest so fingers crossed 🤞🤞😉😉

From 3 plants, from seed to harvest, one of them took only 74 days, the other two, took another week for 81 days. On their last days I Kept them under 48hrs of light instead of 48 hrs of darkness. Overall I’m happy with this harvest, white widow from fastbuds never disappoints 😉

There is so much to discuss ! I have been extremely busy as of late trying to get this Harvest together, but i am happy to have it here for you now ! I Seriously under estimated the amount of time, help from others, and my own necessary skills to pull this off.. and i still kind of screwed it up lol ! But its worth noting i have never actually done this before and trying to document it during....was extremely hard. It is next to impossible to work an iPhone with rubber gloves on ! First I want to discuss everything step by step so before you jump straight into the comments on how the end product is so small in "quantity" Rest assured i am happy with its"quality"...and thats all that matters to me because Life is a journey not a destination! and i have learned so much from this grow that I couldn't be any happy even if i messed some things up :) But at the very least I hope you read through this entry in its entirety with an open mind and focus more on the process, rather than just the outcome! I ran out of Ice & i was only able to wash three times..(normally I've heard you should go sometimes 5-6 washes) Preparation is Key & things will be much better next round :) Photos 1-22 These are pretty self explanatory but for those of you just tuning in now.. this is what happens to a very happy plant when you don't have the necessary tools to monitor key components of growing cannabis.. Ph, as well as EC levels play a very key role in the outcome of your grow lol that being said I was just able to save this plant by purchasing both tools but that doesn't mean the plant didn't suffer because of the prior events.. This was a Huge reason behind me choosing to turn this harvest into what i would consider "Solventless Hash Rosin" from "Ice water extracted Bubble hash". Pictures 23 The idea here is the process of using "fresh Frozen Cannabis" this has been discussed many a time online on such sites as instagram and here on grow diaries as well.. I personally have Never tried the process so i decided to try it out and make a judgement for myself.. Video 24 The Cannabis has now been in the freezer for 72 hours making it very well frozen.. as you can tell i struggled getting it all into the 25u Screen Wash Bag. One thing of note i would do differently is i will de-stem my next batch as i also believe this played a part in the amount of plant matter that escaped through the sieves. Photo/Video's 25-28 The idea here is "ice water Seiving" & especially with the bags that I am using here that are only have screen material on the bottom portion of the bag it is very important to have spaces in-between the screens to allow the water to pass directly through the screens into the bottom bucket with the least amount of resistance.. because the hash is so extremely temperature dependant if it gets warm on the side of the bag.. it will stick there and not make it to the bottom to become use able product.. 29 You do not need to use as much Ice as i used here lol... the idea is to keep everything very cold..i certainly achieved that but at the sacrifice of using so much that i ended up grinding product and producing "contaminants" but in the end they are just plant matter that i would be smoking when i rolled up my joint either way so.. I'm not super disappointed.. But it should be noted that what you want to achieve here is a Layering effect where you have the wash bag between two small layers of ice while the "water current" washes the Trichomes away allowing them to be separated by the screens setup below :) Before Starting the machine you should allow some time (i.e.;10-12minutes pre soak to allow the product to become saturated) before the first cycle. By video 32 I have just ran out of ice lol.. Video 33-34 Here I have a tip for you.. to separate the screens that you sieve through.. cut 5 gallon buckets to stretch them across nice and tight.. it'll make scooping your Bubble that much easier ! i learned this from the many "Frenchy" videos I have watched :) Picture 35 Here in lays the problem for most people.. drying your hash without loosing vast amounts of "Terpenes" whilst also stay ever vigilant against mold ! Thanks to all those videos I've watched on youtube.. id like to think this was one of my most successful parts of this process.. Things to Note; Terpenes start to seriously evaporate at temperatures 68F or 20C you need to stay as cold as possible whilst bringing the Relative Humidity in the space down into the 40-30% to stay away from that nasty mold ! I used my cold storage room in the basement.. with a dehumidifier running to keep the space at 45% RH & staying at a constant 15c. All while spreading the hash as thin as possible across parchment paper, on top of the white screens with a fan moving air across both sides of the paper. Pictures 36-38 These are some macros i took in the middle of my drying session I fell in love with the colour. Yes i know the black spots are plant material but they will get caught when i bag the hash & squish the oil out. Thing to Note; at this stage it is important to ensure you 'micro plane" the hash down as fine as you can whilst staying weary of the temperature... any "chunks" will hold pockets of moisture.. that lead to potential problems..ie; mold ... Picture/Video 39-41 Successfully planed bubble hash ready to be bagged and Squished ! Picture 42 Ive decided to follow Pedro.. from Pedros Grow Room and double bag to be on the safe side so i don't have any blow outs. So thats One 25u bag inside one 160u bag ! :) Pictures 43 This is almost 3 grams of the bubble hash from above, already melting in the bag.. this is where i ran into trouble again lol things started getting to warm in the house and i was only able to get one of the three squish's i did on video :( things started getting sticky. Picture 44 This is basically just a photo of the equipment I'm using; 3x5 LowTemp Cage in the frame I built myself, with a 20Ton bottle jack. Something to note here is this is an older Lowtemp model with only a single heating zone which is which i have it closed here heating Both sides of the press :) As well as the importance of having adequate pressure on your plates.. my rig is very overkill for the size of hash bags..lol Video 45 Here is the lovely press video.. its didn't quite work the way i wanted either lol my directional folding wasn't quite tight enough for a big "drip" :) &the Press was set to 65°c Photo's 46-50 are pretty self explanatory :) I had a blow out.. but still managed to pull an 80% return from the hash once squished...& yes it tasted amazing :) Was it worth it in the end... that could be debated.. for some..i understand..its not your thing, but for those of us that are interested in making our own concentrates.. free from Solvents... I wouldn't make it any other way :) If even ONE of you reading this diary finds it helpful to reference for ANYTHING.....even if its "what not to do" ill consider it a success ! Im now giving her the ripen for 10 days then after a 3 day flush we harvest boys

I highly recommend LST and topping the plant at least 2 weeks prior to flower. This strain reacts very well to it and getting an even canopy of big frosty buds is great. I must say that in the past 2 weeks the smell has become very steong. Be sure to seal whatever air leak you have in your flower space if you are concerned about smell. I use a 6 inch AC infinity long filter and it handles the 2 plants decently. As soon as you open the door to the flower side a wall of fruity-ish smell hits you. The resin production is amazing. I have never had a plant produce so much.

Mildew was detected in the beginning if the week, the plant sprayed with solution of hydro peroxide to kill spores and then solution of apple vinegar to stop prevent new mold. It worked. I thenk the next eeek will be the last. I decreased 5he concentration of the watering solution, especially in Nitrogen part.

It's week 3 of the Veg stage Take care of them as usual, watering day other day and leave the pots dry on Sat-Sun. 1st topped was last week and seems they are doing good. Just the only 1 of Tropicana Cherry X Peach Ozz that seems weak, may replace with the other strain!
