Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. This week has been all about new beginnings and meticulous care, as we continue to nurture these beauties towards their full potential. Let’s dive in! New Home, Sweet Home This week, our P.C.R.s made the big move to their new 3x3 tent, and boy, do they love it! Under the bright and consistent light of the ViparSpectra P2000, these plants are set to thrive. The P2000 is a game-changer, offering a full spectrum that mimics natural sunlight, ensuring our plants get the best light for every stage of their growth. It’s like bringing a slice of the sun indoors! Leaf Love and Clones We also took some leaves and cuts this week to encourage bushier growth and to propagate new plants. Each cut was carefully treated with Clonex Gel, a rooting hormone that gives our clones the best start. Think of it as a nutrient-packed smoothie for our cuttings, providing all they need to develop strong, healthy roots. These parameters are crucial for nutrient uptake and overall plant health, ensuring our P.C.R.s have everything they need to flourish. Day 8 - They were reaching for light so I raised them up. Day 10 - Transplanted into 3 gallon pots with Coast of Maine Stonington Blend. Day 12 - I put them outside all day to get some sunshine. Day 13 - Back in the tent due to cold weather.

Steady progress this week. Her trichomes have put in an appearance this week! 😎 Still got a way to go yet.

after only 10 1/2 weeks, ready for harvesting 👌 they could have matured for another 1 or 2 weeks but I would like to have a high effect here as well, my insides ones will give me the stone. result for the 3 girls in 3 litre pots: 153g wet. Dry result in 10 days, and surely a first impatient smoke test 😏 Even if they didn't suffer from pest attacks, it was impossible to avoid the little ones and their eggs from sticking to the leaves and buds; I did a buds washing to get rid of them.

2.10.2024: Just moving along nicely one day at a time. 2.11.2025: Gave 32oz of water at 6.3ph. The plant is stocky and bushy. Due to the short stems and large fan leaves, the lower nodes aren't getting much direct light. I'm tempted to defoliate but a lot of seasoned vets say A) you shouldn't defoliate as a beginner and B) if the fan leaves act as "solar panels" i'm afraid that will stunt. 2.12.2024: Day 24. Steady as she goes. Temp at 74 and RH is 58%. First sign of white tips on new growth. After some research it could be the start of light stress/burn or something nutrient related OR it could be nothing and normal. I very much want to defoliate the two large fan leaves in between the 4th and 5th nodes as they are completely blocking the lower notes. Opted for tucking instead. 2.13.2024: Day 25 from seed. No change. Still have some white tips but only on the new top growth. Not much vertical growth still. Plant was dry today and felt light so i watered 64oz of 6.4.ph. Seems to be drinking faster now. Raised the light to 16 inches from top of the plant. 2.14.2024: Day 26. Moving along. No water, no light adjustment. 2.15.2024: Day 27 from seed. Plant is healthy for the most part. New growth on top have some white tips and i'm thinking its from light stress. Light is 18 inches from the top of the plant and still at 112 watts Few sets of large fan leaves are blocking the bud sites from light and its all over the place regarding development. I want to clip them but afraid it'll stunt. 2.16.2024: Day 28 from seed. End of week 4 from seed. Top 2 inches of soil were very dry and pot felt light so i gave it another 64oz of water at 6.3ph. 8 to 10oz of run off. Run off tested at 6.4ph, 2100ppm. Having temp challenges so i shut the humidifier off. Currently sitting at 75 with 47rh.
