So this week flushing began. Flushed with water pH 6.0 EC 0.1, I won't harvest the plants untill the run off EC is the same as the Input EC. Temps also brought down to preserve Terps as much as possible. Serious smell coming from both strains, Buds are somehow getting even frostier. Can not wait to harvest these two strains!

Here we go with do-si-dos on week 6. She's seems to be the least nutrient hungry of the group, minimal signs of deficiency. Very impressed with the growth of this girl and the snowy crystals that are forming on the leaves and buds.

These GroBuckets are pretty awesome. I'm barely having to do anything but keep the reservoir full and LST a bit.

The plant was planted in a larger pot, which has approx. 60-70 liters of which approx. 70% Bio bizz light mix and 30% Bio bizz Wurm humus were used. The plant was tied down with a scrog net and slightly defoliated. It should work through the stress for another 2-3 days and then it will start flowering.

This week was smooth. Setting up for greatness

Aug 10: added malted barley and Power Bloom for second time as a top dressing. Aug 13: don’t take flash pics of your plants unless you are then using a 730 nm far red light to put them into dark mode. Otherwise you’ll be messing too much with the light cycle and might cause them to hermie. I have no proof but I’m theorizing the red light light might help prevent hermies. Worked last year anyway. Buds look good in flash pics so it’s a nice side benefit of using the red light as a bloom booster. Aug 16: good week for weather and she looks great.

Einen wunderschönen guten Tag, liebe Grow-Community, und herzlich willkommen zur fünften Woche meines kleinen Outdoorprojekts! Wir nähern uns mit großen Schritten der eigentlich interessanten Phase meines Gartenprojekts. Jetzt mag der ein oder andere sagen, dass die Pflanze im Vergleich zur letzten Woche kaum Fortschritte gemacht hat, und evtl. habt ihr recht. Allerdings möchte ich zu meiner Verteidigung sagen, dass das Setup so für mich sehr neu gewesen ist und ich zwar indoor „gelernt“ habe, ich jedoch die letzten Grows fast vollständig outdoor kultiviert hatte (seitdem es legal ist, selbstverständlich ;)). Außerdem sehe ich die letzten Wochen noch als Anzuchtphase, also alles halb so wild :). Aber genug der Ausreden :), was stand diese Woche an? Da sich der „Auswilderungszeitpunkt“ jetzt wetterbedingt doch noch um eine Woche verschiebt und die kleinen Substrat und Topf geschuldet den ersten Mangel aufweisen, habe ich den kleinen mal ihre erste richtige Düngung verabreicht (Greenhouse-Powderfeeding 1 g/L). Eigentlich sollten sie schon rausgesetzt werden, allerdings traue ich diesem ganzen Warm-/Kalt-Mumpitz nicht.  Da gönne ich den Damen lieber noch eine Woche in ihren künstlich beleuchteten vier Wänden. Ebenso musste ich die Pflanzen untenrum etwas ausdünnen, da die älteren Blätter leider mangelbedingt irreversibel geschädigt waren. Der Tee wird für ca. 24 Stunden mittels einer Aquarienpumpe in Kombination mit Sprudelsteinen belüftet. Je nach Dauer der Belüftung enthält das Endprodukt mehr Mikroorganismen (24 h), bei länger gebrauten Tees enthält dieser weniger Mikroorganismen, dafür mehr gelöste Nährstoffe und Enzyme sowie Aminosäuren, welche als Futter für bereits bestehende Mikroorganismen fungieren. Um das beste Ergebnis zu erzielen, müsste ich mein Setup noch mit einem Heizstab ergänzen, welcher die Wassertemperatur konstant zwischen 20 und 23 Grad hält. Für den Tee benötigen wir: Ca. 15 L Wasser   30 g 1 l Regenwurmhumus Eine handelsübliche Aquarienpumpe + Sprudelstein Melasse (fungiert als Nahrung und begünstigt die Vermehrung der Bakterien). Der Wurmhumus steuert die Mikrorganismen sowie Huminsäure bei, welche das Pflanzenwachstum unterstützen. Ich verwende ausschließlich Regenwasser, da es weder Chlorrückstände aufweist noch einen niedrigen EC‑Wert (ca. 0,05) hat. Wo liegen die benefits? Fördern den Gasaustausch der Pflanze, indem sie dafür sorgen, dass sich die Stomata schneller und weiter öffnen (wenn als Blattspray angewandt). – Beimpfen den Boden mit nützlichen Mikroorganismen (Pilze, Bakterien, Protozoen, Nematoden etc.) und sorgen dafür, dass ein Boden-Nahrungsnetzwerk aufgebaut wird, welches die organischen Stoffe im Boden zersetzt und diese für Pflanzen verfügbar macht. Morgen werden die Kleinen dann mit dem Tee gegossen. Alles, was übrig bleibt, benutze ich dann, um die bis dahin hoffentlich fertig gemischte Erde anzugießen, bevor sie eine Woche in den Endtöpfen fermentiert. Hey! Last week of flower. I'm super excited with this strain. Heavy yielder, easy grower, nothing much to add now I'll do a complete review of this strain. Chopped on day 60 of flower. Take care out there! One love Growers & tokers!

Wow what can I fucking say... A real experience this was. True og x platinum is special cultivator. This freebie was a limited get it or don't this weekend sale only. I was lucky enough to snag some s7, candy cane, and 2 true ogs. The first true og failed due to me trying new germ methods. This one however weather no lights for 8 days with a window seal veg. She them bounced back and grew VIGOROUSLY. With the help of clonex and great white, we were able to top and clone her 2 weeks in veg and with strong lateral roots in 8 days. As week 3 to 4 approached we then transplanted the clones into a new solo which was uneeded I know now. She great rapidly and was then sprayed with 30ppm colloidal silver. This was to prep her for a reversal in hope of a potential keeper just based on her vegetation growth alone. She is incredible man, a really fast grower. As we approached week 5 and 6 of the vegetation process her clones got huge with big fan leaves which is know of the True Og since she is a high Indica hybrid. Her mama was the spread out over theist days of her vegetation cycle and achieved around 32 tops. For and indica she does stretch well but my downfall was not knowing she was indica or "noticing" it by physical traits. I should have given her 8 weeks and then I would have had 64 tops with everything spread out with an impressive lollipop.... maybe 128 one tent?!.. In all honestly I should have given her 8 weeks to create 30 colas instead of bud sites and nice chunky tops. Amazing quality just need the yield... okay back to it.. As the stretch went for around 3 weeks or 20 days, I hsted and lsted where needed to keep an even canopy. She transitions to flower fast and likes bloom around week 3 into 4. She builds heavy frost early on in the first 20 to 30 days to flower. Next time she will definitely go past 70 days. 62 days was definitely pristine and she definitely is a keeper. As mid to late flower set in, I Backed off gradually on the grow and increased on the bloom. I threw in terpinator late but will try near week 4 to 5 next go at her. She stacks incredible fast and well. Each bud created on this monster are dense as golf balls. She then starts to fade around Day 40. The 40s you will see purples and fall colors which then turn into a mix of reds, violets, autumn, and blackish purple. She then throws the most tirchomes once she near day 50. Her bracts bulk hard as they fatten to finish but her pistils which are thin and horse hair like are very very few. This is an amazing feature as her flower to leaf ratio is more hmmm give me bud.. Her terp profile boasts early and bullies other plants until harvest. She smells of berries, just, gas, spice.... honestly it's extremely complex... As I finally pulled her slightly amber on day 62 which was one of her early harvest ranges I'd day 60 to 75 for this strain. She was all cloudy however during the pull. As the mom dried for a couple of days, we pulled some okay numbers and have learned a lot and we also know what to do to triple this harvest number next go.. the clone was also successfully reversed and we believe created f1s true og x plat visions cut and true slurricane by visions... we will updated as soon as we know... Smoke report: OH man... this will be an ongoing thing until Christmas... I won't smoke much more until after march.. She is being saved until I get more. True Og x Plat 💯 hits like a fucking truck. She is a heavy head hitter with body stoning blended in as well which give her a nice balanced hybrid hit. It truly lives up to the platinum lineage tho with inhouses trichome productivity which is sugary and potent on hit almost like the sugar cane 🤔 She is extremely sticky when grinding into a bowl. The bud sticks completely in your top grinder almost every time.. As you smoke her you get the smoothest God damn smoke you'll ever smoke.. The smoke has a diesel pungent sting to the nose immediately after you take a hit. I'd say for a rookie it's probably a no go for you buddy... soon after that you are given the true og coined term "couchlocked" A real winner with other flavors which are extremely complex and can't be named until later--------------->>> The flavors found/ complex terpene profiles given off by this cultivar are I'd say "loud". Very creamy berry kush notes on the jar opening. When you smoke her 2 hits into a bowl, your face with feel red and flushed like a dab would. Shes like smoking pure hash essentially. Thats how greasy she is. On the exhale you experience complex notes but mainly earthy diesel kush funk. Very enjoyable relaxing high. Very potent. 2 friends took 2 hits and said it was too much to function even after that... for an average smoker it needs a warning label 🏷️ True Og X Platinum truly serves its purpose medicinally in large amounts with pain numbing goods and most important sleep. She takes the tension from everyday endeavors and throws that shit in the rear view mirrors. Large amounts induce permanent sleep. This is highly recommended as a night time smoke which worms great with my lifestyle. I really enjoyed growing this cultivar. The only thing I regret is not giving her 2 more weeks in veg. I would have capitalized instead of just getting some. Would have doubled if not tripled my harvest numbers. OH well. There will be a volume 2 shortly 😀 Update: No clone seeds. Pollen was kept. I believe it was due to using a store bought ppm. Nearly 35 days I think to get some pollen. Wasn't strong enough to reverse in a timely fashion for pollination. I'll grab a clone from wicked however and still continue crosses however. Rawtton will get some true og pollen however. All is not lost.

💩Holy Crap💩 That was so much fun , it's full on winter where I am and it kept me busy , and come on there's nothing like growing your own stuff. I had a blast as it's been at least over 10 years since my last indoor grow , and it was fun , I had used all of my old techniques and equipment and it worked out just fine , so I was glad I had a ruff idea of what to expect...... Final thoughts Gonna be honest about that grow , it should me just how far Genetics have come, 10 plus years ago before I stopped growing indoors , all we had was like lowrider auto and greenomatic auto and maybe few others but they were horrible...... but this auto produced quite well as expected it should with the size of my medium and my soil base and very little nutrients, which is what I had hoped for from the start , cause I didn't really know where to start in terms of Genetics as I have been out the game for awhile but I'm super glad with the results and some gratitude needs to be sent to CanukSeeds , they came through as it always starts and ends with elite Genetics👌 ........... I can't wait to start my next grow diary, so keep an eye out , there's gonna be more to come , I'm going to try some really interesting cultivars........ PS. Day 78 ☀️☀️🔥☀️ 16-28 degrees, humidity 45-65%. Tropicana and I start into the 12th week with intense autumn colors and an explosion of fragrances. It‘s very hot during the last days but bu the night temperatures fell more than 11 degrees last night. When I check my plants in the early morning, give them water and attention, a cloud of Tropicanas fruity and floral fragrances surrounding me. Night 79 ⚡️🌈 This will be Tropicanas last night. I found a little bud rott in the main flower. Glad that I made a video inside. I just saw a yellow leaf as a sign and remembered what I read last week about this problem connected with high humidity and very dense buds. I didn‘t follow any hygiene rules and humidity on the balcony was very high for too long period. So this could happen unfortunately.

Weekly update on these couple. One got the chop for some fresh frozen bubble wash and these two still have another week for the one and only a couple days for the other. They smell like a bakery and are covered in frost. All in in an easy one to grow and produces amazing flowers and yields.

She was a great girl all the way around. tired new Genetics and was not disappointed. Would grow her again. She smells super sweet and yielded pretty well. Stoked on her 👌🏻

Week 02 Introduction This week has been a bit of a struggle. Had my first experience dealing with slime and brown algae. But I think adding enzymes and increasing the beneficial bacteria helped to fix the issue. Also experienced nutrient burn for the first time. My nutrient solution strength got as high as 671 PPMs. So backed it down to about 430 PPMs during the end-of-week reservoir change. Also cut Hydroguard (expired?), CaliMagic, and Superthrive from this grow. Now she's still stunted, but is starting to recover. Hopefully... [START OF WEEK 02] Day 01 - Monday - 08/10/20 - Total Days: 008 ----------------------------------- - [0830]: Still looks a bit yellow. But getting larger! --- Solution strength was at 248 PPMs. --- Just topped off with a bit of distilled water --- PH went up to 6.1 so PH'd down to 5.8 --- Ran the top feed for a bit to wet the hydroton. - [2130]: She's looking even more yellow now. --- Even the new leaves are really yellow. --- Decided to add more base nutes. --- Added 4ml of Sensi A --- Added 4ml of Sensi B --- Now at about --- Solution Strength went up to 304 PPM. --- PH was at 6, --- Also raised the water level a bit more. --- I really hope it's a nutrient deficiency and not an over-watering issue. --- Please live! Day 02 - Tuesday - 08/11/20 - Total Days: 009 ----------------------------------- - [0830]: Looking less droopy. But still yellow. --- Decided to do a reservoir change. --- 4.5gal of distilled water --- 8ml of Sensi Grow A --- 8ml of Sensi Grow B --- 8ml of Voodoo Juice --- 4ml of B-52 --- 4ml of CaliMagic --- 4ml of Hydroguard --- 4 drops of Superthrive --- PH'd down to 5.8 --- Solution strength: 302 PPM --- Since I didn't want to risk over-watering the rockwool, I did not to do a top feed, may do one tonight after the sleep cycle (lights are still set to go off at 10am and back on at 4pm). --- As I was doing a reservoir change, I noticed that the tubes and bucket were a bit slimy. Didn't really stink or anything. Is this normal? Maybe due to the Hydroguard and Voodoo Juice? --- I hope she gets better soon! - [2215]: Getting larger! But still yellow. --- Also can see a root growing through the net pot! Tiny little thing but it's there! Will have to start dropping water once more appear. --- After looking over a few DWC diaries using AN nutes, seems like my solution strength is still too low. Most around this stage average around 500 PPMs with about 4ml per gallon. --- Top fed for a minute to wet the top of the hydroton. --- Solution strength went down to 263 PPM. --- Added 8ml more of Sensi A --- Added 8ml more of Sensi B --- Now base nutes are at 16ml for 4.5 gal of water. --- PPMs went up to 411. --- Still lower than 500 PPMs, but that's okay. --- PH was at 6. Not sure if I should adjust PH using AN nutes. So going to not ajdust unless PH goes above 6.1. Day 03 - Wednesday - 08/12/20 - Total Days: 010 ----------------------------------- - [0830]: Looks like more root growth! --- She still looks yellow. But leaves are perky. --- PH was at 6.2 so lowered down to 5.8. --- Solution strength was at 394 PPMs --- Since roots are still growing, I decide to lower the water level a bit. Now water level is a bit below the net pot. - [2200]: Root is getting longer! --- Slime is returning. Not sure why. --- Solution strength: 357 PPMs --- PH: 6.1 --- Decided to add an enzyme along with more beneficial bacteria to hopefully cure the slime. --- Added 16ml of Sensizym --- Added 5ml of Hydroguard --- Added 8ml of Voodoo Juice --- New solution strength: 430 PPMs --- New PH: 6.1 --- Top fed for a minute. --- This slimy residue is really freaking me out! I hope the added enzymes will help eliminate the slime. --- Going to do a full reservoir sterilization/nutrient change over the weekend. Please survive until then girl! Day 04 - Thursday - 08/13/20 - Total Days: 011 ----------------------------------- - [0930]: I think the enzymes worked! There is little to no slime now! --- Although I think the root was also dissolved in the process. It's now just a little stub sticking just below the net pot. The enzyme is also suppose to dissolved dead roots too but guess that root was too weak? Not sure what happened there. But I think the slime is cured! --- Solution strength went down to 395 PPMs. Decided to add more base nutrients. --- Added 8ml of Sensi A --- Added 8ml of Sensi B --- Added 4ml of B-52 --- Solution strength went up to 598 PPMs. --- PH was at 6.1 --- As long as the PH is between 5.5 and 6.3, I'm not going to use PH Up or Down. But still will monitor PH levels. - [1715]: Checked up on her after her nap and shes looking alive but stunted. But no slime! --- Decided to add some sugars to help maintain the enzymes and beneficial bacteria. --- Solution strength was at 587 PPMs. --- PH was at 6.2 --- Added 8ml of Bud Candy --- Solution strength went up to 671 PPMs. --- PH also went up to 6.3 --- Lowered water level a bit to hopefully promote more root growth. --- Top fed for a minute. --- She is getting bigger, but still looks yellow. Day 05 - Friday - 08/14/20 - Total Days: 012 ----------------------------------- - [0915]: Leaves look a little burnt on the tips. Still no slime. --- Going to back off on the PPMs to hopefully fix the nutrient toxicity. --- Solution strength was at 632 PPMs --- PH was at 6.3 --- Added/Removed water until PPMs were at 536. --- PH was still at 6.3 --- Raised water up a bit, then top fed for a minute. - [2200]: Looking better. Still yellow though. --- Solution strength: 514 PPMs --- PH: 6.5 --- Added PH down. --- New solution strength: 518 PPMs --- New PH: 5.2 --- PH was kind of high. So decided to PH down. Had to use quite a bit to bring it down. But eventually got it to drop down to 5.3. A little low, but so far, the PH has always gone up so wanted to start it really low. --- Ran the top feed for a minute to re-saturate the top of the hydroton. Day 06 - Saturday - 08/15/20 - Total Days: 013 ----------------------------------- - [0830]: She looks stunted. leaves are still yellow. --- Solution strength: 514 PPMs --- PH: 5.6 --- Top fed for a minute. --- Not sure what to do at this point. Going to do another reservoir change soon. Hoping she lives until then. - [2145]: Looking pretty much the same. --- A bit of slime has returned. Since I've been diluting the nutrient solution, the enzyme ratio has dropped. So I guess this is expected. --- Also noticed that slime build up was on the air-stones. Never really checked the stones so not sure how long that has been there. Looks brown too, which can't be good. --- Going to do an H202 sterilization of the system (minus the net pot) tomorrow so did not add anything. --- Lowered the water level to below the net pot. --- Then top fed for a minute. Day 07 - Sunday - 08/16/20 - Total Days: 014 ----------------------------------- - [0900]: STERILIZATION DAY! --- Decided to skip today's night cycle for a deep clean. --- I'm hoping that skipping a night cycle won't be too stressful. --- Temporarily moved her to a new bucket. --- Used about a half of gallon of straight distilled water to flush out the net pot. --- Drained the system and wiped up all the brown sludge. Also removed the air stones and cleaned up all the goo. --- Filled the system with 2 gallons of distilled water and at least 30ml of food grade hydrogen peroxide (35% strength). --- Yea its a lot, but since I'm not going to sterilize the system overnight, I went with a really high doseage. Basically I kept adding until I started to see little bubbles start to form. --- Then I ran the water pump. - [0915]: Boiled the air stones in tap water for about 10 min. Then reconnected them to the airlines. --- I let the air stones and hose soak in the sterilization solution for about 5 minutes so the peroxide can absorb into the stones. Then ran the air stone to help mix and agitate the solution. --- Occasionally, I'd repeat the process of turning the air pump off for a few minutes to let the stones soak. - [1000]: Covered the top two row of holes of the net pot with some aluminum tape. Hopefully this solves the light leaking in through the hydroton. - [1200]: Used an old toothbrush and scrubbed the pump clean. Then drained the system. --- Refilled with more distilled water and peroxide. Again added a lot. --- Ran system again to sterilize even more. - [1530]: Drained the system and refilled with distilled water to rinse. --- Ran the system for a few minutes, then drained and rinsed again. --- Did this a few more times over about an hour. - [1630]: Added 4 gallons of fresh distilled water. --- Added 15ml Sensi Grow A --- Added 15ml Sensi Grow B --- Added 12ml of B-52 --- Added 16ml of Voodoo Juice --- Added 16ml Sensizym --- Solution strength was at 430 PPMs --- PH was at 5.6 --- I was going to add Hydroguard, but I think the bottle is expired. Since 2017 or 2018!? I think Hydroguard is good for up to 2 years from the date on the bottle or 6 months after opening. So not going to use from now on. I wonder if this could have contributed to the slime build up. --- Also removed the CaliMagic and Superthrive too. Going to only use AN products to eliminate the chance of incompatible nutrients. --- Placed her back in the bucket and top fed for a minute. --- Here's hoping for the best.
