Well, week 9 of flower in the books and she is done as of this posting on 5/19 (day 63). She finished up well and the trichome development has nice mix of milky with a little amber. She's is extremely frosty and gives off a super strong smell of fruity goodness. She'll be cut down today, so stay tuned for the subsequent harvest report and pics. All in all, first time DWC bucket grow went well, in my estimation. It's a lot of work, but the results speak for themselves. I learned a lot with respect to monitoring ph, ppm, and ppfd readings, as well as reading my plant for visual cues. I eventually understood I needed daily readings b/c growing hydro conditions can change on a dime, especially for someone new to this growing method. But once I found my stride, the process became a bit easier. An important lesson learned was how much space is needed for hydro vegetative and flower growth. I literally had to move from the original 2x4 tent to the larger 3x3. And that is where she finished up. First time growing using Ganja Farmer seeds. The genetics are excellent and I can hardly wait for dry/cure to complete, so I can put her to the smoke test. And that, Amigos y Amigas, puts a bow on this spring's Ganja Farmer Seeds TKO grow.

Well she is coming to the end. I looked at her tricomes with a 60x handheld microscope and she has about 90% milky and 10% clear, with the occasional amber one. I thought about pulling her today but the smaller flowers look like they need more time. Also, I read someplace that if you think you are ready to harvest, wait a week as there is a 2 week window and waiting one week will put you in it. I have been giving her just tap water ph to 5.8-6.0 with the occasional extra gallon flush as I can not empty my basin right now. The root picture looks a little brown, but that's just the lighting. I reached in and checked the roots, no slime or odd smell. After I maneuver her around (bending her colas away from lamp) my hands smell like a pine air freshener or grass, (not like cannabis)? I have now supercropped 3 of her larger colas which can not be seen from the photos, but they are all the size of my wrist in circumference and about 6 inches long. While some have some toasted leaves, I think the buds will be fine. The extra cfls hanging on the outside have really made a difference in popcorn production! If I get an ounce out of this I am considering it a win, however I'm thinking it might be more, we shall see. Thank you for following my grow. Beginning of week 9: Tropicana is 27 cm high and the stem is 38 cm long. Sun is back, rain stopped, happy growing. Day 57 🌤️⛅️🌤️🌤️ 10-23 degrees, humidity is between 70 and 80%. Today I checked the PH of my collected rainwater, of the drainage, of my field horsetail tee / manure. With the soil everything is ok I think. PH of the drainage is 5,9. I was very surprised about the high PH of my homemade fertilizer. Today I took some macro fotos with my new magnifying glasses. I saw the first purple leafs and trichomes everywhere. They are all clear I think. It‘s my first time growing a cannabis plant and I love it!😻 Day 58 🌤️🌥️☁️☁️ 13-23 degrees, humidity between 60 and 95%. Tropicana feels better now with more light. It‘s much brighter during the days but today again cloudy. In my eyes Tropicana looks happy and she is so beautiful. I want to bite in one of those buds, but I will not do yet. Maybe I will take some of the less lighted buds, harvest for tee with cream. I like to vape my cannabis and cook or bake with resin and butter. So I plan to let Tropicana take all the time she needs to produce enough amber medicine. Day 59 🌤️☀️🌤️⛅️ 12-24 degrees, humidity 65-80% The smell is incredible. I really like it. Day 60 🌤️⛅️🌤️🌥️ 11-25 degrees, humidity 62-78%. This morning Tropicana got a bio banana shake which I prepared yesterday evening. I chopped three banana peels and boiled them in one liter of water for short. After I blended them together wit the water and let it stand overnight. Then I sifted the fertilizer in the early morning and gave Tropicana her breakfast: 700ml rainwater and 70ml of my banana fertilizer. The drainage had a PH of 6 On nearly all flowers it‘s possible to find purple colors. The pistils started to change the colors. Our balcony is in the first floor and today it was possible to smell Tropicana down on the street next to the house. 🤭 Day 61 🌤️☀️☀️☀️ 11-26 degrees, humidity 55-75%. Today it was very obvious that Tropicana started fatten up the buds to mature: Different colors, very strong smell, pistils are getting orange. I spotted the first amber trichomes. I could have a nice and potent June harvest but I think it will finish in the first week of July. Day 62 🌤️⛅️🌤️⛅️ 13-21 degrees, humidity is 50-60%. Tropicana enjoys the morning sun while I drink a fresh hemp leaf tee and reflect the last two month of my legal balcony grow. I watered with 700ml pure rainwater. The run off PH ist around 6,3. So I‘m quit sure that the reason for the increase in PH was the watering with the field horsetail manure, which has got a high PH something like more then 7. Day 63 ☀️☀️☀️☀️ 13-20 degrees and the humidity is between 66 and 85 % Beautiful monday morning. Tropicana asked for a banana smoothie, today 1:20 mixed with 700 ml. pure rainwater. She likes to drink it slowly, so I don‘t water all in one anymore. First maybe 20%, 10 minutes later 30% and after half an hour 50%. If I watered all in one, 100 ml of 700 ml run off. If I water step by step, all of the water stays in the pot. After 24 h the pot is much lighter and I need to water again. She is very thirsty in these days.

definitely fed it too soon. i thought 1ml bloom wouldnt hurt but its okay shes still trucking along great ! getting thicker everyday and the smell is amazing

Absolutely loved growing this Blueberry Pie F1 Fast from Seedsman. Always big and fast right from the start. Buds were huge and nicely dense. First round of 1340 g wet yielded 372 g dried buds and second round of 1190 g was surprisingly large and also high quality. Final dry weight of 632 g which is pretty damn good for northern Canada (53 N latitude at Edmonton) by the end of September using just a 5 gallon grow bag. Most of this will be used as flower, but some of this will be made into hash. Will update further with hash making in a few weeks. Very impressed with this F1 strain and looking forward to trying another one next year, like maybe Gorilla Gas F1 Fast. Blueberry Pie F1 Fast is a great strain. Congrats to Seedsman on these big, fast and tasty genetics, and thanks for letting me try it.

📆 Semana 4 de floración – Permanent Jealousy Auto XL La Permanent Jealousy Auto XL entra en su cuarta semana de floración con muy buena pinta. Los cogollos han engordado notablemente respecto a la semana anterior, y empiezan a llenarse de pistilos que ya apuntan hacia todas direcciones. Se nota que está en plena faena. El desarrollo de resina se ha disparado y las hojas cercanas a los cogollos empiezan a brillar con tricomas. El olor también ha subido de nivel: una mezcla intensa entre lo dulce, lo químico y lo funky, que promete bastante. La planta se mantiene estable, con buen consumo de agua y nutrientes. No hay signos de estrés, ni por temperatura, ni por alimentación. Todo bajo control, y el ritmo de floración se está cumpliendo como toca para una XL automática bien criada. A este paso, se viene una buena cosecha. ¡Seguimos creciendo fuerte 💪!

Have been away for 3 weeks. No change in height but the buds have thickened and it very much smells of lemonade. The buds have also darkened a lot. Zoomed in on the trichomes and I'd say 2 weeks to go, but I've got that wrong with every grow!

This week the photoperiods showed clear progress in vegetative growth, with bigger leaves spreading out and new nodes stacking in nicely. Their color has stayed healthy and consistent, confirming they’re settling well into their 1-gallon pots. On August 26, beneficial nematodes were applied during a watering to boost pest prevention and protect the soil long-term. Humidity and temperature have been monitored closely, with minor adjustments made to keep the VPD in a safe range. By midweek, the canopy began to fill out more evenly, and the plants are looking strong and balanced. Overall, Week 3 has been about steady development, root expansion, and keeping the environment stable. They’re now building a solid foundation for future training and shaping as veg continues.
