Hello Diary. The first week of vegetation is over. The plants thrive nicely, look healthy and satisfied. 😀 Purple Punch # 1 grew 11 cm in the first week of vegetation while Purple Punch # 2 reached 7 cm. I remind you that I had to repeat the germination of another Purple Punch, so it’s lower. In addition to the nutrients that I mixed into the soil at planting, I started adding BioBizz’s Root-Juice. I regulate the humidity with a humidifier, so the humidity varies between 50% and 60%. With Purple Punch on the “Farm” there is also one Watermelon Auto that keeps them company. Let’s see what the first week looked like. 27/01/2021 - Day 1. Official first day of vegetation. 29/01/2021 - Day 3. Watering. I prepared 4 liters of water but each plant got about 1 liter. p.H. I regulated with Plagron’s Lemon Kick at 6.1 and added 4ml / lit Root-Juice from BioBizz. Temp / Humidity on the farm - 22.9 degrees and 50% humidity. 02/02/2021 - Day 7. Photographing and watering. After the photo shoot, I watered the plants, each getting about 1.5 lit. This time I didn't add any extras I just adjusted the p.H to 6.3. and the water temperature was 20.2 degrees. Weather was better than before. A couple of sunny and warmer days. Installed the lights with the timer in order to support a 16/8 light cycle with a 1 minute burst of light every two hours at night. Mid week i transplanted them, super happy about that. Cover crop looks great. The placeholder pots have been filled with horsetail, alfalfa, bokashi and worms. Cleared them out to use it as mulch on top. Watered them in with fresh brewed vermicompost tea. The Jamaican Dream CBD will later move into the garden, so the roots can connect with the soil through the bottom of the bag. Plants looking great by the end of week, but still in flower.... started a new run for back up and a friend of mine would give me some very nice seedlings and clones if things go wrong.

week 7 first flowering week when I finally discovered my princess was actually a prince. 12/12 flowermind ferts (6ml + 0.5g) LST + defoliation started seeing some thrips again, but just a few, nothing to worry so, the plant stayed for 4 weeks in the tent, under COB LED 200W.

2 days into flower still not sure of any males in the mix. Keeping my fingers crossed. The females with the burgundy color show in the first 3 weeks of flower the dark purple veins in the leaves. So hope I get a few of those phenoms.

I am waiting, and for the moment, everything is good! My plant looks healthy! I'm happy to see that :) I just started watering with nutrients, I'm quite worry about the quantity and I'm not sure about what I'm doing. For the moment, prevention is key, I don't water too much (maybe not enough but still ok I think) Edit: I stop watering with nutrients because it's bad for my plant(thank you guy for your recomendation!)

Another beautiful black cherry punch pheno but this one is one of the 2 which are completely purple, beautiful sweet aromas, I'm just in love with this strain man 🍒💎💚👨‍🌾🌱✌️

5/5/2024 Pistils pistils pistils 5/8 these plants are fucking exploding! Super exciting to see them like this. Pistils everywhere and they’re just STACKING! don’t even see budlets yet, just pistils. The structure of these plants is beautiful. They handle training fairly well. I topped one and super cropped it and did a bit of lst. I was feeling impatient so I decided to see what happened if I pushed the one a little harder and left the other to grow naturally.

Limited success with LST, but still most likely helped to boost yield. Grew without problems indoors in soil. This pheno had good yield and bud quality, and didn’t stretch too much given it was a sativa-heavy genotype

These were two different types of plants. Item 9 was short and bushy, red velvet was stocky and tall.

Added yellow sticky fly traps to all cubes as a preventative measure to avoid infestation of fungus gnats. So far none have been spotted. Defoliated and did a little more LST to all the plants to open up the center and give more light to lower shoots. Blue Dream 3 and Chemdawg 3 started showing some discoloration on the leaves (yellowing around the veins) and also the leaf tips curling down. Did some research and came up with this... Possible diagnosis: - Yellowing around leaf veins could be a sign of Magnesium or Iron deficiency - Leaf tip curling down could be a sign of Nitrogen Toxicity. - Both could be caused by improper ph balance in water Possible solutions: - Applied Botanicare CalMag+ as a foliar feed and added some to the reservoir. CalMag+ contains Calcium, Magnesium and Iron. - Diluted nutrients in reservoir to lower amount of nitrogen being fed to plants. Was feeding them at 1300ppm, lowered it to 1050ppm - Tested runoff and saw it was coming out at 5.4pH so I increased the pH in the reservoir to 6.0. Now the runnoff is testing at 5.7pH, meaning that my rootzone is in the optimal range of 5.5-5.8 Well wait and see how the plants react to these slight tweaks. Hopefully we start to see a nice healthy even green again.

This time we end at around day 66 and I think it’s a perfect, gorgeous fade. Nugs are rock hard and terps and resin are dripping.

I think Zkittlez Auto has two weeks left, including this one. She definitely looks like the ten week pheno and I think she’ll bulk nicely in these last weeks. I loved growing this auto and am so impressed I was able to get these results considering I’m not an auto grower. I’ve already begun flushing and I think she’ll be a nice smooth smoke when she’s done. I’m amazed at how resinous she is. Looking forward to harvesting and then exploring more auto strains.

Finally started blooming! Hope the main-lining baby will folow others, loooks a bit scanty now.
