Hey everyone! Week 2 is going well for these ladies :) Day09: The two Auto Somango Glue seem to be happy, healthy and are growing strong. The two Auto Afghan Skunk however, showed a weird claw-like curl on their second set of leaves. They're still growing and I don't see any kind of discoloration on those leaves, though. I've been watering sparingly, 0.5L every 48h approximately, so I'm thinking they may be stressing due to too much light...? I brought the light inensity down to 75% and raised it 10cm yesterday to see what happens. The Auto Afghan Skunk 1 is already showing signs of improvement. Hopefully the other one will too - fingers crossed! I'm just guessing honestly 😏 Any suggestions would be welcome and highly appreciated! ---- Day 14: I've definitely overwatered these girls. I was following my instinct based on my experience using HID lights, which generate a lot more heat and cause for 1. plants drinking more and 2. faster water evaporation. Of course LEDs don't genrate as much heat and I need to adjust my watering habits...! 😏 Should have payed closer attention, but hey, you live you learn right? Luckily growth isn't stunted and the two Somango Glue keep growing strong :) The two Afghan Skunk seem to be suffering a bit more from overwatering, but they're showing signs of recovery so I'm confident they'll bounce back 💪 The girls got a 200ml watering on day 10 and didn't get any water since then. Waiting for the pots to dry out some more before next watering. I turned off the fan inside the tent so the girls can have a little more heat too. Looks like leaf erosion stopped spreading after the last 'extra phosphorus' watering I made yesterday. Now I'll wait till the end of this week to make huge defoliation I planned. Also, I think about second SCROG installing. Frash water spraying today. 🌞18.05 I didn't do a thing. 🌞19.05 Spraying with a frash water. And that's all for today. 🌞20.05 Growing. Defoliation is near. 🌞21.05 I made 'Schwazzing' (huge defoliation) today. It's a first time I do it. Now I'll wait for a few days before watering my plants and see how it goes. Sprayed them with a clean demineralised water. 🌞22.05 Healing. Day ONE. 🌞23.05 Healing.Day TWO. ___________ Week ends.

Beautiful flower full of trichomes. Smell and test fantastic. Very fast flowering. She was done on day 49 but I cut her down few days later. I love the strain, the only thing that I will like this strain to have is a better yield. Beast quality buds I ever grew.

Happy New Year!!! Over the past week I cut down 2 of the 3 Blackberry’s, they are hanging and drying now. The 3rd is definitely looking better than the first 2. I think the first 2 will probably be turned into edibles, rather than smoked. The 3rd is looking much better overall and especially in terms of bud development, she will probably be smoked. The lights went off before I was done taking pics, so some pics will look a little different. The pics with the lights on I had to color correct, they still look a little more on the yellow side than in reality, but much closer to reality than the pre-color corrected versions. Once the lights went off I turned the flash on for my camera, those pics did not need any color correction. You can see the differences in the pics of all plants, the first 2 are color corrected with the lights on, the last 2 are taken with a flash and no color correction. I read several books on cannabis over the past few days, some good, some not so much. One that I liked was “Marijuana Cultivation Reconsidered: The Science and Techniques For Huge Indoor Yields” by Read Spear. This book is available on Amzon’s Kindle Unlimited service, which costs $9.99/month, but they offer a free 30 day trial (which is what I’m using at the moment). Reed’s book is broken down into 3 sections, the first and third go fairly deep into the science behind growing, he does a pretty good job at breaking it down in easy to understand terms, but I had to read several sections 2 or 3 times to really get it (or just move on with as much understanding as I could digest). The second section is the nuts and bolts of growing. Most was a review but there were several topics he touched on I hadn’t thought of in a while. And again its well written. He also offers the section only in a separate book called “Small Spaces, Big Yields”. If you are not interested in going deeper into the science behind growing, “Small Spaces, Big Yields” is what I would recommend (if interested in reading books on cannabis). I took some notes while reading and I’m going to add some of these notes in my dairy updates over the next few weeks. This week I’m going to include a note on electrical, this should be a fairly basic concept, but it is super important IMO… “Electrical Items In a sealed grow room or in a tent, you will have water pooling on the floor from time to time. There is no avoiding this. Mop it up when you see it, and never put your electrical gear directly on the floor. Never. Not even for a moment. In fact, let me stress this point in bold capital letters. ALL ELECTRICAL GEAR MUST BE MOUNTED SECURELY ON A WALL OR TENT POLE.” -Read Spear I’ll add more did bits like this in my diaries over the upcoming weeks. If anyone has any good book recommendations please let me know in the comments. I’m looking for books that might not be as popular as the ones by Jorge Cervantes or Ed Rosenthal (I’ve read those). I did just order “True Living Organics” by The Rev which I’m looking forward to reading. But I’m looking for more. I really want to step it up and learn as much as possible. Perfect tropical-like weather. No problems to report. Excellent growth. Still rearranging net tent as this bastard stretch a lot. She's a strange big & tall plant, I don't fully understand her, she has a mysterious, almost ancestral scent. The base of the stem is getting huge, I hope the branches get a little more fat. Very mild rust fungus infection on the lower leaves of one branch close to tomatoes

Plants got a surge of growth over the week, lookin forward to a decent canopy come flower. Switched to 12, keeping MH bulb going until i see flowers. Slowly beginning to wean off the calcium nitrate as well. Also have begun to do some light defoliation and pruning where necessary - best to nip it in the bud as they say - before the energy investment grows. Gotta be careful with your girls though, don’t get clipper happy. Cheers Late week update: Actually probably keeping calcium nitrate steady since it'll need more for the stretch, after which I'll quickly decrease and change my nute schedule.

Today is 11/7/18. Watered GDP #1 and bagseed #1 today with nutes....... I am going to post these pics as a reminder for myself and as a leraning tool for anyone that like visuals. I am learning that these babies can be thirst buckets...I was making sure I don't do the newbie mistake of over watering...well, underwateringcan be just as bad. I been watering apprx. every 2 days...but this is what happens when I don't ...they end up frowning and hugging the pots. But I was informed, the smaller the pot, the more frequent I will have to water. They are in 1 gallon pots...The roots are not visible through drain holes; therefore, I haven't transplanted into 2/3 gallons. Today is 11/8/18, I decided I will be transplanting GDP #1 and Bagseed #1 into 2 gallon pots. They did fully recover from dehydration. GDP#2 will remain in the 1 gallon pot for a lil while unless roots start appearing through drain holes. This plant has been tempermental from day 1. I don't understand why one side of the plant responds well to any training I have done (lst, manifold, topping, etc): howerever, the other side seems to have problems and take awhile to recover. It was suggested to throw it away long ago....I am a new grower and I felt I should keep it as a plant I can LEARN from, which I have learned a great deal. Today is 11/9/18. watered thoroughly because I didnt when I transplanted. Defoliated Bagseed #2. Today was photo day. Today is 11/11/18, I did a moderate defoliation. Today is 11/12/18, watered w/nutes only. Today is 11/14/18, watered with cal-mag only. Today will water with nutes and after tonights lights end their 18 hour light cycle, 12/12 will begin.

The second week of flushing. Some of the leaves from the bottom of the plant are already yellow or light green. It seems that now she consumes the nutrient buildup from the bottom leaves. Still milky trichomes, but I spotted a few amber. Also, the buds gained a purple shade, looks awesome! week 14

11/05/19 # Friends, 50 day of flowering. So far I have not encountered any problems, fantastic genetics .... and I am really excited to see the final result. Thanks to all the friends who follow me .... peace & love
