Plants with more direct UV showed much more purple across all 3 plants. The data shows that the number of terpenes in dried Cannabis flowers increases with a “No Red” light treatment for the final three days of production. Based upon these findings, we feel confident in recommending a spectrum control program that eliminates red light output from fixtures for the final 72 hours of the Cannabis flowering cycle. Terpenes are aromatic compounds that give cannabis some of its most distinct aromas from citrus and berry, to more earthy tones. Many species of plants produce and emit terpenes in a diurnal, or daily cycle that is regulated by a complex web of signaling. There are also many plants that emit terpenes at night to attract nocturnal pollinators (Marinho et al., 2014346). Regardless of when the terpenes are produced or emitted, these processes are often dependent upon cues derived from natural light/dark cycles via a native circadian clock (Dudareva et al., 2004). Several light-sensitive pigments are involved in these processes of production and emission, and the different photoreceptors are dependent upon different wavelengths of light to be activated or deactivated. Emission of terpenes is a process that is entirely dependent upon phytochromes and red/far-red light cues in most plant species (Flores and Doskey, 2015). For example, repeated light/dark phytochrome signaling is necessary for the emission of terpenes in tobacco plants (Roeder et al., 2007). Based on previous findings, we hypothesized that a lack of red light and phytochrome-mediated light/dark signaling on the part of the plant is responsible for an increase in terpene content in cannabis. The plant continues to synthesize terpenes, but a lack of red light to trigger the Pr-Pfr shift results in a lack of terpene emission by the plant, thus causing the terpenes to accumulate in the maturing flowers. Sound waves at 1 kHz and 100 dB for 1 h within a distance of 0.20 m could significantly promote the division and cell wall fluidity of callus cells and also significantly enhance the activity of protective enzymes and endogenous hormones. Sound waves stimulation could increase the plant plasma-membrane H+-ATPase activity, the contents of soluble sugar, soluble protein, and amylase activity of callus. Moreover, sound waves could increase the content of RNA and the level of transcription. Stress-induced genes could switch on under sound stimulation. Sound waves at 0.1–1 kHz and SPL of (70±5) dB for 3 h from plant acoustic frequency technology (PAFT) generator within a distance ranged from 30 to 60 m every other day significantly increased the yield of sweet pepper, cucumber and tomato by 30.05, 37.1 and 13.2%, respectively. Furthermore, the yield of lettuce, spinach, cotton, rice, and wheat were increased by 19.6, 22.7, 11.4, 5.7, and 17.0%, respectively. Sound waves may also strengthen plant immune systems. It has been proved that spider mite, aphids, gray mold, late blight and virus disease of tomatoes in the greenhouses decreased by 6.0, 8.0, 9.0, 11.0, and 8.0%, respectively, and the sheath blight of rice was reduced by 50%. На этой неделе поработал с ветками в неперспективных местах, удалив все лишнее, что могло бы вытягиваться, вместо генерации цветов. За неделю растение выросло на 10 сантиметров. Проверил натяжение, центральный ствол туго натянул шнур растяжки, пытаясь выпрямиться после освобождения всех веток от натяжения. Пока ещё рано отпускать растяжку ствола, сделаю это после остановки вертикального роста. Ещё одна неделя "вытягивания" впереди, но цветы уже довольно быстро набирают массу. После обрезки неперспективных веток внизу растения, у меня чесалась рука, которую я запускал в гущу листвы. Это словно крапива, жжет, вызывает раздражение и пока не вымоешь руку с мылом в теплой воде, жжение не уходит. Девочка достаточно липкая, чтоб стать в одну линию с уже выращенными девочками и посоревноваться с ними в эффекте и урожае. Запах изменился до неузнаваемости, теперь она не пахнет кошкой, скунсом.... то, как она пахнет, невозможно описать обычными словами...это похоже на запах разнотравья в одном букете. Кажется что тут смесь запахов: чебрец, мята, мать-и-мачеха, плакун-трава и чертополох. Запах сладкий, медовый, с небольшим пряным горьковатым шлейфом. Внешне цветы начали становиться похожими на молодые одуванчики, слегка подкрасив свои стигмы в желтый цвет. После обрезки слаборазвитых мест я попил чай, заварив на свежую в кипятке несколько молодых цветов и листьев. Замечательное пойло, очень полезное для внутренних органов, особенно для пищевода, желудка и двенадцатиперстной кишки. Поднял лампу на 10 сантиметров, сохраняя расстояние между лампой и верхушкой растения - 60 сантиметров. This week was hottt Record breaking temps wer cooking my girls sooo I let them out. I took out their light also (saturday) I also put green celophane on all the house windows (that dont have blinds) because i dont want the house lights to disrupt their sleep. ( i dont know how sensitive they r ) Next week will be their first full week of flower

Starting week 3 with good growth on all three plants but plant 3 is doing the best, she has the longest branches and I've tried them downwards. I also trimmed-off the lowest leaves and branch/future bud sights. The girls look good and I look forward to another week of progress.

Removed the damaged leaves and topped 4 of the plants. One of them is looking really light green/yellow-ish. That plant also has some weird growth, some deformed leaves and hardly any branching. The others are fine. Tried using some of my 12 years expired Canna Terra Vega.

*Week 4 Flower 09/24* Both Mimosa girls appear to be running fine with Mimosa (1) running a little behind but is catching up accordingly. Small oversight in early growth resulted in a minor stunt but she is improving dramatically. Water Feed has increased by half a gallon ( 1gallon clean - .5 gallon nute feed) *Week 4 Flower 09/28 - Mid week update* Both plants are flowering accordingly - Mimosa (1) is a bit taller then Mimosa (2) Buds are becoming dense and covered in trichomes. No deficiencies - No areas of concern - Potassium and Phosphate feeds continue *Week 5 Flower end of week recap - 09/30* Both Mimosa's are flowering nicely - Budsites covered in frosty trichomes. Mimosa (2) looks shorter but that is because her COLA was tied down to expose bottom budsites.

25.08.23-проведена масштабная дефолеация (примерно 40% листьев ) Продолжаю делать лст . Из проблем пш Корневой зоны 4 … вход 6.2 выход стабильно 4 пш и ниже ( Было принято решение промыть растение под проточной водой 40 литров и это не исправило ситуацию . Засола нет так как сток после промывки стал 20 ппм, после этого обильно пролил раствором слабой концентрации в 650 ппм! Незнаю как исправить ситуацию с кислым дренажом 26.08.23-горшок очень тяжелый и совсем не просох .. в этот день никаких манипуляций не проводилось Пш корневой зоны стабильно низкий 4-4.5 . Все равно растение выглядит счастливым хоть и немного отстань в росте на мой взгляд . Решил дать ей еще 2 недели вегетации затем 12/12

The Apple Cup hermied this week along with the Baker's Dozen. Fortunately Tropicanna Poison is flowering so fast that it seems to be unbothered by the hermies next to it. The hermied plants will be stunted as more energy will be focused on developing pollen/seeds. Also I'll have to chop them down early before any seeds begin to solidify within the buds. It's ideal to immediately remove any hermies as soon as pollen sacs are spotted. Unfortunately I only have my small closet space so I decided to leave them and observe the growth of hermies.
