Started the week at 725 ppm which was stronger than I meant to. Remixed on day 38 to 650 ppm. I've been adding the ph up incorrectly. Noticed some calmag deficiency in the last day or two so I'll be upping the calmag to 15 ml. She seems to be doing well. I'm losing the battle against the smell. My whole house smells like dank.she drinks 1 gallon every 24 hours I only add ph'd water between feeds. I cant believe she grew 7 inches this week!

Was a real experience to grow the Darkdevilauto, with these Strain we could see a lot of what a ganja plant can resist, the two ladys are amazing but the vipaspectra has a bigger, strong and clear smelling, the second Lady look also greatly under the Mars hydro pannels but in thc production we see a gigantic difference. 8/25 -Plants responded well to the increase on volume of water fed. Im really liking the +50 mLs a feeding (every other day) -Only a few of the oldest leaves have started wilting. This is normal and expected as those leaves have been used and abused the worse. I left them on originally because it seemed the plant was pulling nutrients from those two leaves specifically if there was any kind of deficiency. As I took care of the Ca/Mg/Fe issue a few weeks ago those spots went away. -The canopy is so damn thick defoliation doesn't allow for light penetration down to the coco. 🤷‍♂️🏻🤷‍♂️🏻 -I really shouldn't complain since these plants are definitely going to harvest big. Very excited -Building 4 separately raisable platforms so I can start growing my Fall plants. Only have 1 light, limited space for my grows but I don't want to waste a month of vegetation. If the platforms work as designed I am very confident ill be able to grow staggered harvests. The goal is to always have weed ready and cured for me to smoke. Buying from dispensaries is getting to be too expensive. -Went back and re red some online forums about growing in coco as I had no experience going in. All the forums said to essentially flood the coco on a daily basis. I have no idea how that is successful--when I tried that I almost killed my plants. Listening to the plant and reading its signals is WAY more efficient for me. The time lapse allows me to look at the plants normal day/night trends. SUCH a good idea plus it makes for a really great video at the end of the grow. 8/26 -NEw nutrient solution made. Same nutrient concentration and strength. -Cheese lowered 1.5 inches on its stilts. Its definitely stretching according to the Time Lapse -Cream Cookies smell is getting stronger and stronger every day. Cheese is the first smell to start developing. -Slight color change starting to occur on Cream Cookies. -Its beginning to become more obvious that Cream Cookies is transitioning focus from maintaining older leaves birthed in early vegetative growth and transitioning to only focusing on bud production. Lower growth is beginning to wilt out. A Natural lollipop if you will. 8/30 -Cream cookie buds are really really really starting to thicken and fill out. Looks like the final buds are going to be quite dense. The smell is really developing on cream cookies. Cant really put my finger on the exact smell but there is a definite strong cheese odor followed by a strong earthy smell. No sweet/citrus smells yet. -Cheese is flowering completely differently from cream cookies. It seems three of the main cola branches are going to yield absolutely huge buds. These main cola bud sites are stretching and small flowering nodes dominate the landscape of the branch all the way from the soil line to the canopy. It seems like the flowers are going to really fill in around the branches. -Lower branches of Cream Cookies starting to become more rigid, taking on rigid character of the main stem. Makes me think that the buds are becoming sufficiently heavy that the plant needs to reinforce some branches to avoid bending over and falling. Love to see it. -Slight signs of stress observed, going to reduce concentration of bloom nutrients to 11 mL/gal. Still should have all the nutrients the plant needs just in a less concentrated solution.

On the grow itself, I just got twice as much yield with 1/3 fewer plants by switching to coco and CocoTek, I would count that a win. Zero stress so I was right, grow them without stress and you will be rewarded. Just the easiest best smelling little plant to grow. Always germs well and produces long as you treat her right. The plant of course is much more smaller with the restricted root zone causing a bonsai effect. However, she performed really well under the circumstances with a relatively large yield all things considered. I usually smoke high CBD but was very impressed with this high. Let's see how it goes after spending more time under the influence. Review... Growing in the solo cup sized container proved to be much more challenging than a regular grow. The plant soon became stressed dealing with the tiny root zone making everything hyper sensitive. The first issue was showing as tip burn even though the ppm was kept in the 650-850 range. Then the leaves showed a general yellowing overall specially showing at the bottom fan leaves. At this point I was changing the nutrient solution every 2-3 days trying different nutrient brands and concentrations seemingly without much success. It was a nerve wracking period which ultimately lead me back to General Hydroponics with amendments. I did learn that the plant can weather the storm even with less than perfect vegetative leaves while she focuses all her energies into calyx production. It’s was upsetting to see less than stellar health but eventually all the leaves drop and the flowers power on seemingly without issue. The cascading diamond structure developed as a result of a couple broken branches that occurred during the training process in an effort broaden the plant profile with wider lateral spacing. Although initially upset when the fractured branches that withered after being bandaged up and . After removal of said branches it was exciting to see the new possibilities. The cascade formation called for additional side lighting to maintain uniform bud size all the way down the front lower end of the plant. I was looking to create a stadium like effect. The experience of operating the visual hydroponic unit called for a number of practical adjustments along the way. Although initially, very excited with the system concept as an integrated design with nutrient solution supply and gravity drain through the pump, with the air supply inside the pipe with the air bubbler acting as the drain/root filter... in hindsight, obviously, it would not work as the root mass became denser and denser. The first issue, as the path of least resistance, the air was forced back down the nutrient supply pipe. This prevented the pump from priming itself and subsequently no nutrient solution delivery was even possible. As a result, the original air stone was left in place to prevent the roots from entering the nutrient tank and a new bubbler stone simply added to the tank itself. Although the original idea was for the air to be continuously pumping directly through the roots, the flood and drain would actually be just as good when drawing the fresh air in and out with each pump/drain of nutrient solution. The ON cycle was initially set to 10 seconds which eventually became 30 seconds as the roots mass grew denser. This proved to be too unreliable as the fill level was no longer consistent which required constant monitoring to be sure that there was no flooding over and above the container lid. It which case, a simple feeder tube to the top of the root zone was the best option. The ON cycle was set to 5 seconds with a 15 minute OFF interval. Overall the biggest concern was the timer itself, which had several bad reviews for malfunctions with growers losing their plants. However, I have no choice as this was one of the few timers that was capable of cycling down to the second but it all workout fine in that regard… no problem. Was it a perfect grow?... no, definitely not. However, as a relative beginner, it was definitely a great learning experience. Mostly, I need to work on the nutrient blend and concentration. For more control, a backup tank with float valve delivery to maintain the water level for this particular system would be a good idea as well.

Blue Dream Xtreme is growing good. She is stretching, but no other signs of flowering yet. I did a solution change today and adjusted level of nutrition. She is a lighter green then others. I need to increase her nitrogen level just a little. She is growing under a Spider Farmer SE5000 light at 70 percent. She is in a New Level Hydro bucket. Plants started getting real bushy a couple of days after topping. Low Stress Trained all the plants at the end of the week by tying them down using rubber coated garden wire to spread out the newly grown tops. Also spaced out each plant evenly on the tray and turned on the other 2 PB2000 LED lights I had ready to go.

-5/21//23 Start of Week --Week 9/Flower 3 -5/21/23 (Day 64/Flower 15) --Observations: still clustered, hard to see under the shade leaves --Changes: started giving nutrients in waterings, added molasses to watering (today only) --Comments: don't really know what it looks like under the canopy because of how clustered everything is. started giving nutrients in watering along with spraying twice daily, will stop spraying at the end of flower week 4. doing heavy defoliation at the end of this week, excited to see what it looks like under the canopy. -5/27/23 (Day 70/Flower 21) --Observations: large quantity of bud nodes revealed by defoliation --Changes: heavy defoliation, repositioned some guiders --Comments: this experimental grow style is doing far better than I expected. heavy defoliation revealed a sea of pre-flower beneath the canopy, far exceeding my expectations of what could not be seen before. moved some of the guiders to help with spacing of smaller branches so that everything get good lighting. sent is still mild and hard to distinguish from the lemon basil, should get stronger within the next few weeks. -5/27/23 End of Week

Photos taken at Day 25: They start to recover and grow again. Sprayed them with Canna Cure to get more healthy leafs. Removed the humidifier. Lets hope they will grow for another week before they go into preflowering. Thats it for now, new pictures and updates will follow within this week. Stay tuned! Update: Day 28: Canna cure did his thing. The leafs start to get greener again. Also my feedings made them grow and recover again. Removed some lower branches and leafs. They are back in the race!
