Day 17 17/07/24 Wednesday De-chlorinated tap water pH 6 with calmag 5ml -5L. Very humid week, noticed a green turning colour on top of soils where the humidity has been far to high. I have installed door netting and recently left open all day and night now so they can condition over night in colder temps. 1x overdose doing very well, one overdose slightly behind and looking ABIT swifted. Day 52-64 (Day 54) I’m going to thoroughly inspect each plant and remove bananas if found. So far it’s only been the one on #7 but I don’t want to take a chance. I’m also going to give a watering with some runoff. (Day 55) Can’t find anymore bananas but that one. I will probably find a few bag seeds but who knows. It’s way too late for pollen to really have effect anyway. These 5 plants finish nice and early compared to my other tent flipped on the same day. I would never take this strain 65+ days like last time. I would do 56-60 days next time I flower this strain (Day 58) Holy shit this tent is fading like crazy now. They are starting to show some beautiful autumn colors. #1 #5 and #7 are definitely done. #3 and #6 could use a little more time so I’ve decided to take them down on the 24th. I haven’t seen anymore bananas and the one that popped out on #7 has shriveled up and receded. (Day 63) I’m seeing what look like seed pods starting to form in some of the main colas on my picture perfect pheno. #7 is showing 3 or 4 little bananas too. All of the top buds are definitely done so I’m going to harvest as soon as the lights come on tomorrow. I’m going to give one last watering right now and then harvest. I’ve noticed that harvesting a watered plant will extend the dry time by a few days and that’s exactly what I’m looking for. A nice slow dry. Plants are being full plant hung + dry trimmed and tent is being kept at 60-65 degrees and 60-65% RH. Cutting everything down was a pain in the ass. I had to individually cut each square the scrog net so it wouldn’t contract and squish all the buds. I chopped down my other tent as well so I have no other plants in flower right now.

I prepared and added my top layer soil, then I covered the soil with hydroton and set up the irrigation system. in my top layer soil -epsom salt -moss powder -leonardit -peak -warm

After 21 days in turbo cloner I transplanted 4 Sweet seeds Green Poison into 1 gallon plastic pots filled with Cana coco. Few days later I transplanted another 4 clones into DWC! Stay tuned! Coco feed at 700ppm Dwc feed at 480ppm

I'm happy with that.* My second Purple haze auto from sensible seeds and again very happy with the plant. I have so many more strains to try, so I may never grow one again, but if I could only grow one strain again, from my short experience this girl would be the one for me. I could have harvested this girl a few weeks ago but I thought I would risk a few more weeks to see how her buds developed. I certainly made the right choice in doing so as these buds just got fatter and fatter. I trained her with a mixture of lst and the now traditional for me super cropping. I have had a shape her due to limited space in the grow cupboard to a more rectangular shape maximise the canopy size for the light. I have shown this in a video on my Bruce Banner #3 diary as Mrs B is being shaped. My biggest buds to date without a doubt. Hitting 200g wet with stems my fingers were aching holding the stems while trimming so they were very bud heavy. probably 50cm tall max from soil to top bud and a canopy space of around 60cm x 40cm available to her. Grown under 3 x £1 / €1 / $1 Standard shop bought LED bulbs (cool white and warm) around 10w each converted..... ...Sorry light companies... I think this a good yield and a proud growing moment personally. I do often say that I will update when I have a dry weight but I don't honestly think I have yet. First full on flower week for these, they seem really f-ing quick for some reason, maybe it's the smart protein ... At this rate i'm gonna have an august harvest fully 12 weeks from seed lol, i'm not holding my breath because i'm realistic, but that would be f-ing nice as shit lol anyway i'm just following these ladies' cycle and giving some flower nutrients as well as some flower specific micro , had some bioflo around so just used that - didnt really over think this one, i'm just enjoying the show, sneaked into their room while they were sleeping to snap some pics , pretty dramatic with the lighting , hope you enjoy these !
