As you can see from the third picture on day 29 she is looking a little ugly and unkept. I'm not sure if this is a normal thing or something I need to take action on. Advice would be great. So day 30 rolling around. Decided I had to try LST again. She felt more receptive to being bent over today as well. I mainly had to attempt it for space reasons. With the current covid panic all the markets where I buy my buckets from are closed and I can't procure a new one to increase my height for probably a couple of weeks at this rate so LST was my only option. She seems to have taken well to it and I will upload a finished picture of her shortly. Day 32, watered and fed her. 500ml of water plus .3ml each of fox farm trio. Hoping to see her perk up a bit. Concerned about the large brown spot on one of her leaves which made me think she was having a deficiency? Probably a bit early to worry about buds fattening up also but I am worried they are looking a bit airy at the moment on the non main cola sites. I'm not sure if my LST was effective at tricking her into trying to have more than one top cola? Day 33. No noticeable gains today, at least to my eyes. I can spot a little nute burn perhaps but hopefully nothing too serious. Looks like a cola that isn't the original top is starting to fill out just as much, if not more, than the original top though. Hoping they all catch up at a similar pace to each other and reduce the pop corn nug potential! Day 35. She has shown a few more bud sites since last post. I am worried that she is going to produce a fair bit of larf/popcorn bud and wanted to know how to get rid of that? I am not confident to remove any growth without knowing for sure it has a beneficial impact on the overall health of the plant and the final results. Any advise is appreciated. She also seemed a bit thirsty to me. The leaves were feeling a bit thin and dry so I gave her 1L of water with .7ml each of fox farm trio. Hopefully she responds well. I will check her in an hour or so to see if the leaves are starting to point back up - fingers crossed.

Week 5 – Time to Bloom! We’ve entered Week 5, and it’s time for a big change — we’ve switched the light schedule to 12/12 to trigger the flowering stage for our beautiful Gorilla Girl! She’s growing impressively — now standing over 30 cm tall and stretching out nicely in width as well. To guide her structure and maximize light exposure, we applied some LST (Low Stress Training) and gently tied down the main stem. We’ve also carefully removed a few top shoots to help redirect energy where it’s needed most. Everything’s going smoothly — our girl is strong, healthy, and ready to bloom! What an awesome thing to walk in on starting off week three all the girls were praying and just getting so fat, I really need to strip some fan leaves off the mom. They look great, the smaller cuts definitely aren't as good as the 4-6" cuts are, they were MAYBE 3-4" cuts and pretty small, but they are extras anyways so it doesn't matter, just seeing what they do. I'm excited for them to have all this space to stretch out when I pick up another light. Last day of week three and I couldn't be happier, I absolutely have to cut thicker clones , these smaller ones all got a bulbous base? Not sure what that's about but we will see how they develop. They are extras anyways but still nice to figure it all out.

Welcome! Week 7 flower! I'm dying in anticipation. Part of me just wants to stare at it forever, because I'm pretty sure the color will get darker when its dried Pistols are turning orange top, so getting closer. I took a few videos this time. One shows the Mars Hydro lights, and my tents I'm using. The other is the best I could do to capture the beauty of this plant. I wish I had a tent full of only her. I cut way back on nutes, I only plan to feed one more time and will be checking the trichome color next week. I’m starting to see both the dosi & bride cakes nodes reaching taller everyday, more & more pistils are forming! No signs of deficiencies or pests. I will be keeping these ladies on the Jacks/ Autopot feed but the seedlings shown in the update video are going to be receiving the Athena program via hand watering which I’m very excited about!

The plants are now in full stretch and I have done some defoliation and LST in the last week. 2 plants came out to give the others enough space. I saw that I had significantly too much nitrogen in my plants. You couldn't really see it under the LED light. The next few times i give them pure water.

Beautiful strain to grow I'll say it 1 thousand times. Super sweet and floral aroma, very frosty and dense hard flowers, the exact same smell that her sisters have, I love to grow black cherry punch and hope I can keep doing so. This lady is one of the 2 purple phenos I have. The other 3 phenos are green but have the exact same smell all of them. Very recomended to all the growers out there if you are looking for exotic smells, very sweet. Peace out 💚✌️

I only got to fertilize once this week but with the super soil she doesn’t show any deficiencies. I fertilized with I49 grow 1 tbsp/gal & 2 tbsp I49 Flower. I added this more as a preventive measure since I’m seeing issues with AK-47xl also outside in super soil. With the extreme heat and rain, my purple hulk is a HULK. She almost doubled height (grew 15 inches) this week and is now 33 inches tall and starting flower. She demonstrates resistance to fungal diseases and bug damage. In the background noise on the video is Cicadas. When they hatch, they crawl onto a tree or plant and molt. The adult has wings. This is the empty body casing. This strain is still new to me. It seems like it’s starting to flower! Golden leaf! It’s been super easy to grow so far!!

3/26/24 3 gal pots amended with 8 Tablespoons of Gaias 444. The last time I was growing was about 3 years ago and I had always wanted to try Gaia green but it wasn’t available in the US. So I’m excited about getting to try something, previously unobtainable. 3/31/24 end of march and end of week and one veg. They haven’t grown too much. I switched them to their final grow space in my garage, from the warm bathroom in my house so I think they are getting used to the environment finally. Finally getting the environment dialed in for them. The garage on its own is a stable 50-60*F and RH 50-60%. I thought that would be easy to control with minimal swings. The light didn’t bring the temp up as high as I thought. Things are dialed in now and they should start taking off.
