I made a little defoliation on top buds and they growing fast now that’s cool

Deceded to cut! Perhaps a little prematurely but I was seeing cloudy and some amber so decided to pull the trigger. First grow and all so hopefully only up from here! Not much to note apart from the buds fattening up and further fading in the leaves as expected. I dropped the temp a bit and they spent their final 48 hours in darkness. Literally just going off what I have read and I will have nothing to compare this to as this is my first grow! Very happy with what i see and I am now hanging the plants whole. I am expecting some nice clean smoke as these were flushed for their final 3 weeks. Hoping for a 7-10 day dry and then into jars for curing after trimming over screens Will update harvest for all 3 plants once this stage is complete with dry weights. Thanks to all that have commented and I will be planting 4 mephisto seeds from a mystery pack once the tent is free.

👉Day49- fixed some LST so plants had the max light possible and did defoliation,i noticated 2/5plants have toooons of tricones but rest 3 olmost nothing 😣....some new yelow leafs start to show on 1plant. Day 64 - Starting week 10 and gave this girl her last feeding of nutes before harvest. The next 2 weeks will just be water and foxfarm’s sledgehammer. Day 65 - Time is winding down for this girl but still thinking 2ish weeks. She’s still got quite a bit of clear trichs so just gonna keep a close eye on her. Day 66 - Nothing new today, just watching the trichs and waiting for them to tell me it’s time to chop. Day 67 - Looks great and almost finished. Only saw a handful of clear trichs and the rest were cloudy but still waiting for a good chunk to amber up so when I see that, she’ll get the chop. Day 68 - She’s getting closer to chop day for sure. Seeing a bit more amber in there and waiting till she’s about 40%. Gave her some water today and next watering, I’ll add some sledgehammer to the water to start pushing the nutes out. Day 69 - A lot more amber trichs showing today but still not quite where I’d like it. I did lower the light to about 12” yesterday and today it blew up with frost. It was already frosty but today she looked like frosting and the pics don’t do her justice. Might be getting the chop this weekend. Day 70 - It’s the end of week 10 and she’s getting closer to chopping. More and more amber popping up but still not to my liking. Maybe chopping late this weekend or early next week.

I added side lighting (400w) to see if it can increase the density of the lower buds. We will see.

Soo...Nr.1 von 2 die auf dem Balkon waren wächst super...war jetzt die ganze Woche geflippt auf 12 h aber von Blütephase sind minimal nur Ansätze zu sehen...aber der Stretch ist wohl schon im Gange...trotzt living soil und 1 mal pro Woche Kompost-Tee...gebe ich noch was dazu...topbooster und P-boost von Aptus...ich bin davon überzeugt das kein living soil genug Phosphor für die Stretchphase hat. Ab und zu noch etwas "fish shit" aber nicht bei jedem Gießen...das Zeug ist in Deutschland teuer bis unerhältlich...aber sehr gut. Cover crop funktioniert auch sehr gut...habe gesehen dass es viele bei sehr jungen Pflanzen machen...davon würde ich abraten. Die Nr.2...auf dem Balkon gestartet und dann ausgewildert...habe ich auch besucht aber keine neuen Bilder gemacht wie hier vor 2 Wochen gepstet...macht nur wenig Fortschritte...aber sieht wunderschön aus.

crazy week found drain gnats which explains the green hue of some of my plants the larve are attacking the roots raising the p.h. and the diffecencies are showing in the leaves being lighter and or brown dots on the leaves. using mosquito dunks and spraying neem oil washing the roots to help these ladies out. also im doing things different with the soil vs dwc, i havent done much if any defoliating with potted plants just letting them grow only mainlined once and since in flower very light if any defoliating. any questions comments information feel free to ask or inform im open to critque

Ginger Nut Cookies & Aussie Music Videos Week 16 Harvest 17 th April 2020 This Entire feminised seed making and growing project was a very good learning experience for me. Right from the very start, when I successfully got a Cutting ,taken from a Barneys Farm Red diesel female plant to produce feminised pollen after treating it with a silver thiosulfate solution. I then used it to pollinate a Fastbuds Girl scout cookies auto plant and let it grow to maturity. This only produced 3 viable seeds one of which is the subject of this Diary. I made up the name "Ginger nut cookies" after a variety of cookies we have here in Australia that are made with ginger. They are the same colour as the distinct red hairs on the red diesel buds. And would you believe those same vivid red hairs were passed on to this plant so I wasn't too far off the mark with the strain name. Her flavour however is nothing like red diesel or girl scout cookies and infact as taken on a smell and aroma all of it's own. She has a lovely tropical fruit like taste and the smell is a bit like fruit yoghurt. It has an unreal after taste on the exhale and the lingering second hand smoke smells very sweet and enticing. She has a pretty well balanced high too not as potent as the GSC nor as energenic as the red diesel but just a pleasant mix of the two. It was a very easy to grow and undemanding plant that didn't seem to require a lot of extra feeding other than the 100% organic nutrients that were within the soil and a few things like compost teas etc. The other element of this diary was of course the weekly Aussie music videos That I provided the links for and put up a little video clip preview of each Artists song. Been doing a lot of tweaking with the new gear and multiple sets of plants. Been quite a busy week and probably behind a bit on keeping track of everything. I'm currently working on trying to get better charts made to keep track of things like light schedules, detailed feedings, height change per day, etc. My current setup is my oldest 1st set of plants (5plants) and my 3rd set (6 seedlings), in my new 4x4 Vivosun grow tent equipped with a Spider Farmer SF-1000. I have kept my 2nd set of plants (4plants) in my original 4x2 Vivosun equipped with 600W Vivosun LED. These plants had been extremely stressed due to not having soil or containers available with shipping constraints. They've been doing a lot better since then and I'm hoping they make a full recovery. Fingers crossed! Running 24hr light schedule. Both tents equipped with temp/hygro high and low ranging from about 71-81°F with an average of about 78°F. Watering by plant pot weight, according to GH FloraTrio + CalMag Schedule. Mild LST via tucking of leaves blocking developing sites. No more than 3 leaves removed per plant, per day to avoid stress. ______________________________________ Can't wait to start upgrading the quality of my journals and to hear you all's feedback! Sorry for being so hectic the past week or so if anyone has been keeping up with this 😂 For the time being, I'm currently running all three sets of my plants in my 4x4 tent. It's running all three of my fans, both lights and has the carbon filter system and humidifier hooked up to it as well. I basically have the other 4x2 just sitting as a shell for the moment. Either planning to save it for climate control when curing the first harvest or sell it to invest in another Spider Farmer SF-1000 LED or equivalent and possibly another 4x4 tent. I have started a grow chart that's still a little sketchy but if nothing else having it here hells me keep up with it that much better. [April 24th @ 3pm] Plant 1- (11in.) 2- (9in.) 3- (14.75in.) 4- (13in.) 5- (10.75in.) [April 26th @ 1:30pm] Plant 1- (11in.) 2- (9.5in.) 3- (18in.) 4- (14in.) 5- (11.5in.) [April 27th @ 12pm] Plant 1- (11.5in.) 2- (10.5in.) 3- (20.5in) 4- (15.25in.) 5- (11.5in) [April 29th @ 4am] Plant 1- (12in.) 2- (10.5in.) 3- (23in.) 4- (16in.) 5- (11.75in.) [April 30th @ 3:30pm] Plant 1- (12.25in.) 2- (10.5in.) 3- (25.75in.) 4- (16.75in.) 5- (12in.) ______________________________________ The most current batch of nutrient mixes for was made this morning about (2am 4/29/20) for the 1st and second set of plants. The first set of plant's nutrients was made to 4gal of water. The mix is a ratio of (Cal-Mag/GHMicro/GHGro/GHBloom) It's mixed (for the 4gal) in order; 10mL, 5mL, 10mL, 10mL. 440ppm @ 98.5°F 890EC @ 2.2°F us/cm This new nutrient mix was applied for the first time tonight and will run about a week. I'm running a bit behind according to the GH schedule I was following due to stunting the growth I felt like over a couple issues to where I have them an extra week of veg nutrients. As I have defoliated them and they have seemed to take it pretty well, I'm hoping the increase in bloom nutrients will kick the buds into overdrive for production and the plants will start to thicken up again. The second mix follows the same order as the first set in regards to nutrient usage. This mix is only mixed to one gallon. It as follows; 2.5mL, 2.5mL, 1.25mL, 2.5mL. 500ppm @ 98.6°F 992EC @ 0.4°F us/cm This is mostly following the same GH nutrient schedule as the first set only about 2 weeks behind. These plants suffered from being in too small of containers for too long and I believe this stunted their growth. I've had them in suitable new containers for a couple days now and hoping this new mix of increased nutrients will bring them back to life a bit and get them back in schedule. I'm honestly not too sure still about the ppm and EC numbers but a few bud-dies have mentioned that it plays important roles in plant health. So until I can better research good numbers and how to control it for my set up, I'm at the very least trying to keep track of the data. I apologise about this large chunk of text! I hope you enjoy the diary anyway in spite of the fact. I'm loving the look of the buds and everything seems to be going great. Only a few months to go! 😎

Things are going very well for Obi#2 . She's come a very long way and shes sure showing her ability to endure this nub grower :P :P :) Over all her flowers are swelling up nicely no major signs of stresses or anything like that shes just growing and doing her thing . She smells very pungent I really enjoy the smell . I'm excited to see what the next few weeks are going to be like ! A special thank you goes out to all the people who stop by the diary ! Here she is. Dawg daze reaching her final stages . She's fattening up beautifully n smells amazing. Only fed tap water every other day as needed. So far just waiting on her to finish up. Will update next week on her growth. Grow easy.
