The Mandarine Cream is entering its third week of flowering, and the aroma is becoming increasingly potent. The plant is looking beautiful and vigorous, with the buds showing significant daily growth. The smell is evolving into a strong, citrusy scent, reminiscent of grapefruit. Environment: This week began with a cold front, bringing temperatures down to a minimum of 5°C and a maximum of 15°C. A light rain has helped increase the humidity, which could boost resin production, although the cooler temperatures may also slow down the flowering process, just as they did during the vegetative stage. Fertilizing: I've stopped fertilizing as the plant now has everything it needs from the substrate. Watering: Sparse, around once a week, to maintain the right moisture levels without over-saturating. Pest Control: Beauveria applications have been reduced to once weekly, and the garden remains completely free of pests, which is a pleasant surprise. Training: The main cola top remains tied down. I haven't done any further defoliation or additional training. The focus is now on letting the plant continue its natural growth as it transitions deeper into flowering.

Day 50

Welcome to week 4 For Enigma in this Seedsman Tiny & Rare pot contest. After a bad start to week 3 she recovered well. Today I have added an air hose into her pot. It's run by a 5v 1w usb pump, connected to a 5v 2w solar usb panel. Using this I have been able to test the effectiveness of the light at different angles and ranges. The pump runs at full power within 30cm of the light. From there it slows rapidly down to 70 where it stops completely. I need a better light. Day 23: I have reconfigured the tent. I replaced the solar panel with a plug as I need the air to run when light is off too. My idea here is that if you can DWC with airstones, maybe if I blow air to her roots she can handle being in a saturated medium, thus allowing me to ensure she always has nutrition available. If it works as I hope, I may be able to have her exceed the size she might otherwise achieve in this pot. I have refilled the pot with fertigate every time the bubbles stop. There is no way its evaporating this fast. She has now been totally saturated for at least the last 6 hours and no drooping. Day 24: Been a bit lazy topping up her liquid but I'm confident the air pump is working as intended. Day 25: Enigma is on day 2 of a little dry-out experiment. Day 25.5 Enigma was wilting, so I fertigated her until the pot was full and then topped her up again twice. Day 26: Drowned her. Whoops. Day 27: Let her get too dry. Whoops. This is not easy. Day 28: End of week 4. Enigma suffering. It's difficult to get a balance between sufficient nutes and moisture levels.

Week 6 since flipping to Flower 🌺

On day 120 Green Gelato #1 was chopped down after being left to dry and 48 hours of darkness. Harvest will be updated next week when Green Gelato #2 is chopped as well. Hulkberry #1 is almost ready to get chopped. Was last flushed yesterday and will be chopped once it gets dry and 24 hours of darkness. Hulkberry #2 and #3 will stay the full week and hopefully will be ready to get chopped the week after.

2/4: Photo session day! The big one is growing a few inches per day..that shit needs to stop soon or I'll have to supercrop her lovely branches.. Soooperunt is now as tall as the second sister, but not as bushy. All three are slow to flower, like the #11's. I had a total infestation of Cattus (felis) which I documented in my photos. Eradication seems impossible, so I'm opting to allow a degree of predation, but hoping trichome production will, at least, deter them soon.😁 2/5: I fed everybody today with about 3/4 gallon each and sprayed them down with Axiom harpin proteins for the last time this run. I made a DIY CO2 generator today using a 5 gallon cat litter bucket, a small aquarium pump, some air line tubing, and a bubble stone, plus 6 cups of sugar and 30 grams of wine yeast in 2 gallons of warm water. I put the tube where the CO2 is exhausted up against the back of the oscillating fan that aims down over the plants so they are being constantly forcefully bombarded with high levels of CO2(1300+ppm) from above. I set the ac infinity controller to allow the temps to climb up to 89f before the fan turns on. 2/6: These girls are a much darker shade of green than anybody else in the garden. I bought some Gro-Pro pot risers to elevate the pots so that they will dry out faster..seem pretty effective. 2/7: I'm only seeing a few pistils popping here and there on these girls. I expected them (and the other mostly indica strains) to be moving along faster at this point. Not sure if they are happy with such a short nap every day.. I foliar fed with big bloom and tiger bloom today. 2/8: I ordered a second 6" AC Infinity fan to connect to my controller, some ducting, and a diffuser which I'll mount to the wall, down near the floor. The fan unit will be in another closet, adjacent to the garden closet, and I'll run ducting up through that closet ceiling into the attic, with a filter on the end to keep bugs and particulates out. For the next 6 weeks or so, it will provide a supply of colder fresh air. I did the math, and it will now only take about 1 minute and 40 seconds to completely exchange the air in the closet. Depending on the outside air temp at the time, it should take anywhere between 8 and 20 minutes for the closet to heat back up to 80f and the fans to kick back on again. This Spring, on days when it's warmer than 72f outside, I'll disconnect the duct in the closet and stretch it into that bedroom, clipped to the window unit air conditioner output, cranked down as low as it will go. This Summer, I'm gonna just run a pair of the quantum boards and grow 4 or 5 autos in there, but this should help keep the temps cooler in summer as well, without dedicating an air conditioner to the grow op.🙏 2/9: I foliar fed them with grow big, big bloom, and tiger bloom and checked moisture in their pots. They're due for a good watering tomorrow.

Report on week 3 of veg: I lower the RH to 50-55% while the RM stays relatively on the higher range: 27-29C daytime and 18-22 at night. I had nice visual on the 6th node of BB3, Larry Bird and Gelato plants and few cm. to avoid any eventual stem splitting, so i topped them. I guess the Gorilla will be ready for topping by tomorrow. Unfortunately i have to work with hard water so i have to keep constant eye on the water's EC. For this reason and from personal experience i wont increase the nutrients dosage any time before flowering. The high percentage of worm castings is doing wonders and help me a lot with the substrate's maintance. I did some runoff water measurements and end up with the following values: Gorilla had 2.75EC and 6.5pH, Gelato got 2.70/6.6, Larry 2.85/6.7 and BB 2.20/6.9. Substrate pH is 7.0. Once again, I have to say that Sunmaster's Dual Spectrum HPS are indeed super powerful lamps. I added another clip-fan to ensure a nice breeze around the plants. I will follow the general rule of thumb and give the plants 10-14 days to recover from the HST. Once i week i spray the plants with foliar iron-based nutrient solution👊 (Plagron Vita Race). It boosts the photosynthesis, plus it washes and cleans the leaves. P.s. only the Larry Bird is topped on the pictures. I topped other two today, but i didnt want to switch-off the lights in order to take pictures. Peace!

Very aromatic and good smelling strain, easy to grow, very resistant to diseases. No problems at all. Can't wait until the harvest will dry! And I am now re-vegging the bigger girl at 24h cycle, so let's see what happens.

I've finally managed to stabilize the PH value at around 6. The lamp has been running at 600W for 10 days. It gets really warm in the tent but the buds get nice and thick :) Or do you prefer 400W then I can keep the temperature better at around 24 degrees

Tamara starts her second week of flowering with a solid stretch, which I had to keep tucking into the scrog net so she could get more light exposure. It’s truly amazing how much she can grow in just 24 hours. Looking closer, we can already see the first trichomes forming, and I have to say it again: I absolutely love

* ********* Week 11 - June 20 to 26, 2020 - Days 71 to 77 from germination *********** * It is the end of flush week and she went into darkness on Wednesday night, day 75, for two days. Saturday will be harvest day and start and the dry process👍 This week she continued to fill in and she also pushed out more frosty tricombs!! The fade happened this week more and she fed off of more of the nutrients within the plant.....perfect😃......would like a little more even but she was ready based on tricombs. Would like to have seen the lower leaves a little more yellow but its good. I am feeling very strongly that the big part of the pH issues this run was a change in feed water. I have always used bottled RO water for all my grows, except outdoors, but this grow I switched to tap water. Dechlorinated the water with air stone and gave it 24 hours min before using. Wanted to save some money and tired of lugging bottles downstairs a couple of times a week☹️ This is worked out nicely and a lot more convenient. However, the city must be putting some crap in the water that is causing issues in my media and raises the pH after the watering. Out of the tap it is 8.4pH and 275ppm. Since ppm were not too bad in my opinion I moved forward without filtering the water.......oops🤬🤬🤬 Out of options on what is causing the issue, I switched back to RO water late last week........all the girls are happier!!!! F......missed the cause for weeks. Always learning from this plant and my own mistakes to get better every run😉👍 Also wanted to add a little more stress to girl to help push out some increased resin. I drilled a 5/16” hole into the main stem to cause her stress. I did this rather than trying to break a branch and will see it goes this run. Sterilized a new bit in Alcohol and went for it. They went into darkness about a couple of hours later. Excited to see what happens when she comes out to get chopped😃😃 Not really a lot more to add this week as it was mainly looking at the tricombs and her buds. The pH will impact the harvest but she has been fun to grow and very resilient to pest and bug issues as well as grower curve balls. As always.......nice job Sweet Seeds....... SWS56 is very solid and I look forward to running her again one day. Beautiful little girl and makes me smile😃😃😃 Little more detail...... June 20/20 - Day 71 - Rezin and Liquid Weight @ 2ml/L = 285ppm and 4.0pH - 8L given to get a good flush....pH still running around 7.4 - Runoff in pots already were 7.9pH and 685ppm. - after 8L water runoff was 7.4pH and 360ppm. - she is 20” tall and 24” wide. - a number of clear tricombs but more becoming cloudy. June 21/20 - Day 72 - dry out day. - buds are firming up......squeezed a couple🧐 June 22/20 - Day 73 - Rezin @ 1ml/L = 120ppm and pH the water to 2.7!!!!!!!!! - Given 2L watering. - No runoff water and I am good with that as I want the low pH water to stay in the medium. - her frost levels are really coming out now.....was able to lower tent temps to 75 degrees and 51% humidity......its been raining a bit so damn humidity has been high. June 23/20 - Day 74 - 2L plain water feed - 80ppm and pH to 2.4!!!!!! - not excited about these crazy low pH numbers but doing what we can - her tops are getting more pointy now and ripening nicely - leaves continue to fade......she is close - checking tricombs, I think we are done and tomorrow will be her last day so that I can take down on Saturday. June 24/20 - Day 75 - 2L plain water feed - 80ppm and pH to 3.0 - Going into darkness tonight so this was her last bit of moisture. - drilled a hole into the stem.....was going to do a couple of holes but not trying this method before I decided to leave it with one hole. - into darkness tonight So we finish up the week with her in the dark. Through germination and was delighted to experience 100% success rate👍 Excited to run this strain from Mephisto. It is supposed to be a couple of their strongest and fruitiest crossed. My Skywalker was a good experience and I could have ran her again but I wanted to try another strain from this breeder and see if there are some similarities......this sounded fun👍😋 Just popped one of these girls and will probably miss some timing but that is how the game works.......learn from this one with hopes of dialing in the siblings😀👍 Greater focus on VPD this run. Already pushing the humidity higher than I ever have with having controller set at 72% with temperature at 79 degrees. I have been reviewing the numbers and I have normally been close but it looks like I have to raise everything by about 10% and for a few weeks long😬😬😬😬😬😬 Trust the science and lets learn some more from this grow!!! *****Daily Detail: Apr 11, Day 1: - VPD - 1.2 - 500ml first watering given with nutrients as listed. (minus Velokelp) - pH water to 5.6 - Girl is up and looking like she is ready to go. Apr 12, Day 2: - VPD - 1.0 - 500ml feeding with VeloKelp @ 2ml/L, Piranha & Voodoo @ 1ml/L. pH to 5.6 - lowered light intensity a bit more. - She is getting taller now. Seems to be speeding up. Still the slowest of the group. - She seems most affected by too much light. Apr 13, Day 3 - VPD - 1.2 - 500ml water with 0.5ml/L each of Piranha & Voodoo, Dual Fuel. - 300ppm with 5.4pH. Apr 14, Day 4 - VPD - 1.1 - 500ml water with Virtathrive and Piranha & Voodoo Juice @ 1ml/L, VeloKelp @ 2ml/L, and SensiCal @ 0.5ml/L. - 210ppm with 5.5pH. - She is doing well. Starting to see the first set of leaves growing a little odd. Both offset to one side of the pot. Good progress though little early to worry about some things. Apr 17, Day 7 - VPD 1.1 - Turned on flower light on UnitFarm this afternoon and they are happier. - Dry out day today and no added water/feed, just misting. - Let the medium dry out a bit and give a nice week 2 feed tomorrow.....they are ready for a little more nutrients now. - Not a lot to report today. She is happier than yesterday and getting bigger......can’t ask for much more👍💪👌

Welcome to my Slurircane Diary sponsored by MSNL & Spider-Farmer Days 56-63 only got days 56-58 & 63. Plant has moved from Pre Flower into fatthing on Day 58 r so. With the attempted Reveg. Pre flower was lost and any stretch. I now know when or how to stop a plant In its tracks.. during pre flower. Throw it into reveg (keeping dli within limits as if not, it'll continue to flower. So keeping in in the right DLI range is needed for reveg. I pult mine a just short of a week into it. And it was just a few days into pre flower and I stalled her at the height of 41cm. Another week maybe 2 of reveg would of got growth going again. But I decided to push ahead with fattening. She did put on a few cm finishing her pre flower but, nothing compared to what would of been if I hadn't of stalled and reveg. This can go bad. But, maybe I'll try again. As the colas, well, I've not had them like that. Not as this early stage. Look already how filled out they are. Will be short but mass should be good. Another 5-6 weeks of flower. High ppfd and 8-1300 co2. Diet/Defoliation Have moved her off Power Buds/Roots & moved to Green Sensation & PK 13/14. Done a hard defoliation and she has started putting on nice mass. Really happy with how she looks. Really healthy & Happy. She's a fast mover. Topped out a 41cm her tallest node. Most are 39.5 with an even canopy. I done 2 15% defoliations. Removing inside leafs around her nodes to allow air to move through the canopy. Premoting co2 exchange pushing newly made o2 out of the way on the stomata vent levels. As soon as plant hits ripening a lot should also be. So, I'll figure something out by then. Maybe an SF-1000 finish under low temps. As my main tent will be pushing 33-35c until end of the summer and beyond. This won't do for ripening.
