Yo! Week 3 is rolling along, and things are looking pretty sweet! The plant is vibing well with the Canna Terra nutrients. I’ve been sticking to that medium dosage, and honestly, you can see the difference in just three days—those leaves are popping! I've also kicked off some low-stress training this week. Just gently bending and tying things down to give it a nice shape. Can't wait to see how it all turns out! Excited for what’s next on this green journey! 🌱✌️

Day 24: 600 W LED Light schedule 24/6, ventilation is the same +15 min after the lamp switches off. Water: 50ml per plant so 2x 25 ml per day per plant. Fertilization with bat guano and the same amount of water on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday. They grow nicely! Someone commented that it looks more magnesium deficiency problem instead of burning so suggested me to add Epsom salt to the water. I ordered Epsom salt so I will give it a go! Thank you! I still believe that I put too close the lamp so it was related to it also but I can see spots on the lower leaves so there is magnesium problem here as well. By the way, they look now beautiful! Blue Sherbet S1 is slower a bit but it is Sativa. Day 25: They started growing rapidly. Day by day they are getting bushy and growing nicely. Day 26: Epsom salt has arrived. I will start feeding them with it. I will mix one tablespoon with 50 ml water 2x a day and I will do it on Monday, Wednesday, Friday. Day 27: As I mentioned in my other diary the last 3 days was crazy hot especially today in London 38 degrees. In my tent, there are 32-32.5 degrees. Luckily, I have direct ventilation on the plants so they won't feel that much heat, but it is crazy... anyways They are getting really bushy and keep growing. I can see some yellow pots but started feeding properly them with Epsom salt and bat guano. Day 29: I retrained (LST) they so tried to spread the sides and bend more the main stamp and also changed their position so I placed them to a different corner. Day 30: It looks like that the Epson salt is good they look better green also now I just damage some leaves as I retrained them. Tomorrow starts the 5th week where I will do some Topping to them except to the Blue Sherbet S1 because it is quite small for that. I will use only LST and FIMing for her.

Day 65 - Bessy got some needed defoliation as the central part of the plant was becoming too dense. Lower nodes were exposed to direct light and air circulation through plant was increased. Bessy has longer internodes than Jessy, but is not lanky in growth. Day 66 - Both ladies showed signs of a very slight nutrient burn on the leaf tips. They will be getting only water tomorrow to avoid any more damage. First time growing photoperiod cannabis, the practical learning curve is real! Day 70 - Thinned out both ladies, starting from the bottom and removing any branches growing inwards and lower leaves and growth. Also defoliated a bit from the top of the plants to expose lower growth to more light. Loving the way they are both growing, slightly different phenos.

Unfortunately I spotted one bud with bud rot on my gelato plant. I flushed it on day 91 of cycle, day 54 of flowering. Today is day 94 and it seems it has not spread out to any other buds(happy days) .. I am watching it closely everyday and also to see how the trichomes are going.. breeder says 65-70 flowering days to be ready.. let’s see.. if I spot another bud rot I will probably harvest it.. I hope that will not happen.. let’s go

The lady turns out to be beautiful in the end. The resin is coated all over the bud :-). I changed the whole water again this week. This will last until the end before I will use completely fresh water to rinse out the nutrients 3-5 days before the harvest. Next week I will look at the trichomes every day to determine the perfect harvest time. Otherwise the tent was cleaned and everything checked. Unfortunately, all three are yellowing, showing signs of deficiency already. I'll continue to monitor them for any changes. I think the cause was they were in their peat pellets getting straight water, then when transplanted into their 5g pots which were pre-moistened with straight well water that was ph'd to 6.2 but had zero nutrients. They have now received one feeding and will get another in 2-3 days which I hope will help to bring their color back. 10/10- All three Tropicana Cookies are still not where I'd like them to be. I'll give them another feed tomorrow and see if that helps. They are so small and young at this point that I don't want to feed more often until I know that their roots are developed a bit more. 10/12- Today I fed the girls with a 10min. fill cycle, during which I monitored the moisture level of the medium via a soil hydrometer, then drained the system. 10/14- There goes the first week for the Tropicana Cookies and honestly, it could have been better. With this being my first attempt at 'Hydro' I fully expected to have a few hiccups along the way and this is just one of those that I will learn from and move forward! Mini Wool Cube, placed in an 11 liter pot, peat, perlite Watered without much drainage, this mini cube has settled into its new location, a vision of how pH can be managed by mixing these media. Light soil only peat/perlite, so I am watering avoiding high runoff. Just what it takes to see the output track Foliar application, certain time after the twilight of the lights. I placed the LED closer to the cup.
