Hello Tokers and Growers! Welcome to another great Indica adventure! Some of you already know I love me some Indica. 😁 My current favorite Indica is Cream Caramel from Sweet Seeds but I decided to try something new this run. Sweet Zenzation (SWS84) also from Sweet Seeds. She's my only Indica dominant cultivar in the tent so I'll be taking extra care of this one. Strain characteristics: Sweet Zenzation derives from a cross between an elite clone of Zkittlez combined with a specially selected Grape Ape clone, which is one of the strains used to develop the original Zkittlez. The result is a predominantly indica genetic hybrid. It produces a large amount of resin-soaked flowers. It is both relaxing and stress-relieving, yet it also stimulates the imagination and conversation, an effect that is normally associated with sativa strains. The flowers have a high terpene content, an exquisite aroma and sweet taste, with hints of fruit flavoured candies, hardwood undertones, shades of lemon, cypress and subtle aromatic peppers. Variety SWS84 Genetics: Zkittlez x Grape Ape Type: Feminized Indica: 70% / Sativa: 30% THC: 16-23% · CBD: 0,2% Indoor Yield: 450-650 g/m2 Outdoor Yield: 400-700 g/plant Indoor Blooming: 9 weeks Outdoor Harvest: late September, early October Expectations & Training method: First time growing this strain but Sweet Seeds have always given me sweet and savory yields so I’m guessing this one won’t be any different. Genetics are promising some tasty terps, I’m the aroma will blow me away. Indica dominant so I’ll be trying to make a bud packed bush out of these. Haven’t quite decided what training technique to go with either LST or TOP and just a bit of LST adjusting the colas. That’ll depend on how I see the growth up until the training day. As for yield I’m aiming for at least 50g each plant. Equipment used in this cycle: Tent: Dutch Masters 120x240x220cm Lights: 1 x Mars Hydro TSW2000 1 x Mars Hydro FC3000 Ventilation: Garden HighPro - ProFan TT Extractor Fan - 150mm Garden Highpro - ProActiv Carbon Filter - 150mm Garden Highpro - ProFan Oscilating Clip Fans - 25cm Blauburg - Inline Fan - 125mm Humidifier: Garden Highpro - Humipro Digital Humidifier - 4 liters Pots: Garden Highpro 11L Fabric pots Medium: Biobizz Light Mix Nutrients: Grotek - Mycrorizo Plagron- Alga grow, Alga Bloom, green sensation and royal sugar. PH down Calmag Measuring instruments: Hygrometer/Thermometer - Govee: EC Meter - HM Digital: COM-80S Hydrotester PH Meter - Vanguard Hydroponics Happy Growing!

a week or so and you could never tell there were two plants in the tent ! she has taken over the entire space now. Increased all the good stuff up a notch because she has never got any burnt tips or anything, she just drinks and drinks. Every 24 hours, 4 litres of nute water (with about 400ml runoff). I mean I never thought a plant would drink that much ??? I am questioning the feeding method, this is very binding... an irrigation system perhaps? Meanwhile off she goes, no fucks given

I topped it when it was younger and when it started to flower I Lolipopped it and I’ve been super cropping the branches every day and I run only organic nutrients and worm castings I use milk for calcium and magnesium supplement 3-10 ratio ph the water, I have also used boiled banana peel water that simmered for about 4 hours and cooled down to room temp for a day, used about 1 1/2 cups to a gallon of water, both very good flowering supplements and also miracle grows new omri certified vegetable nutrient along with Shultz African Violet plant food which has zinc maganese all that stuff in there I have no nutrient deficiency’s at all and these plants grow like WEEDS! HAPPY GROWING!!!! SMELLS ARE INSANE BTW WHENEVER I OPEN THE TENT THE WHOLE HOUSE SMELLS LIKE FUNKY FRUIT GAS

Today 7/30/19, day 57 and the start of week 9. I'm still continuing to alternate between days with my pesticide treatment (especially after finding that bug living on one of hulkberries fan leaf) and thrive alive green daily foliage spray as a prophylactic solution against any possible pests or mold going into these last few dog days of veg. I will flush them with distilled ph'd water for two days this weekend in preparation for flower. Then I'll start them on some "flower fuel" bloom booster on top of my secret for success flower recipe at 1/4 of the recommended strength. Outside of that still no adverse issue to report for the end of the 8th week. After my last trim, they both have responded very nicely, I was kind of worried about fat banana stalled growth. But one thing I noticed when I topped her at the 6th node, yes the main stem stopped growing but it developed many bud sites up and down every stem. Whereas hulkberry was topped at the 8th node, she has mainly focused on developing long stems and only 2 or 3 bud sites along her stems. Even though hulkberry in structure, is much bigger than fat banana and has a way bigger root system. Fat banana is bushier and has developed way more bud sites than hulkberry. I can't tell which strain will yield the most at this point only time will tell! Also, a big shout out to "J"@RQS, thank you for the excellent customer service. Another reason why Royal Queen Seeds is top 3 in breeding!!

Changed out the nutes. Dropped the calmag and the Silica. Using just the Plant Prod MJ bloom. Saskatoon Berry plants are very surprising. One of the plants is a cola top, the other has lots of latteral branching. It may form into a giant arm.

Hi Growmies, Here we are at week 11, and our botanical star continues to astound with her growth. The stretching phase has persisted throughout the week, each day adding a bit more to her stature. It's as if she's reaching for her personal best, and I'm here to cheer her on every step of the way. As the buds begin their own stretch along the colas, it's time to introduce Green Sensations into her diet. This should give her the extra boost she needs for this critical phase of development. Her thirst is growing, a sign of her expanding needs and vigorous metabolism. It's a balancing act to match her hydration requirements, but one that's deeply rewarding. I can't emphasize enough how smooth and stress-free this experience has been. There's a certain peace that comes with tending to a plant that asks so little yet gives so much. If the yield is anywhere near my usual harvests, I might seriously consider making a permanent switch to soil and the Plagron lineup. It's exciting to ponder the potential of a new cultivation method. This journey has been one of simplicity and satisfaction. The connection between grower and plant, the quiet anticipation of each new stage of growth – these are the moments that make it all worthwhile. As always, a reminder for my fellow plant lovers: use the code ZAMMIGD2023 at Zamnesia's online store to get a 20% discount. Sharing is caring, especially in our tight-knit community. Stay tuned for the next update. We're on this journey together, and I'm grateful for every step.

Update Day 14 Flowering: Pog is ambling along stacking her neat little buds up ready for long colas i hope. Temps here have been crazy hot for the UK. 34°c at points which is slowing them a little but with lots of airflow incoming , the rh is not too bad at 70% and i am watching for mould like a sheepdog for wolves.lol Another happy Barneys Farm Girl

Week 7 of flower 9/20/24 Changed the nutrients on 9/23/24 to fit the ripening stage. Using FinalPart with ProBloom EC 1.3, PH 6-6.2. Checking runoff PH and EC daily (EC 1.25, PH 5.2). Using H2O2 with every watering (to help the PH stabilize at 5.5-6.5 range if there is a root problem). Plant seems happy and not showing necrosis/nutrient burn problems. Hand watering ones a day at the beginning of the light schedule.

First set of leaves were a bit light and what appears as some decent tip burn? Bucket was running hot on week two, but left it alone. She’s happy now that she’s starting to get the munchies. Most of the growth is looking decent. I’m going to top above the fourth node, and take the lower branches leaving 6 main branches to train. She’s topped but it looks like I will end up with 8 branches to play with. I may remove the bottom two?
