It’s the second week of flower and I’ve got her spread across the net. I’m going to do a foliage feed of fish mix and alg a mic in a around 4 days as well as another 4 ml of alg a mic in 2L.

8/28/2022 - 21 days since my little girl sprouted from seeds🌱 The third week of vegetation of my BCN Power Plant 🌴🌴🌻 Nutrients: Jungle Indabox - I had to adjust the dosage, after the first dose of nutrients, the lower leaves of the plant lightened a bit, this was especially visible on her sister Orange Sherbet Auto, which burned the tips of the lower leaves - after this week I reduced the dose by half 🍃🍃 Hesi: Hesi Root Complex I give this root stimulator for root support, although Jungle Indabox also supports root growth, namely: Jungle Urban A - (N-P-K) - (2-1-6) Everything for healthy growth and formation of the root system Atami - ATA Calmag - I missed completely Advanced Nutrients - Bud Candy - I also adjusted the dosage by half 🍬🍬 Preflowering: Classic white hairs have not yet appeared on the stem, indicating the female gender 👩‍🌾👧🏼 Light: Mars Hydro TS1000 - really great lamp with sufficient lighting and energy-friendly 💡💡 Training: Topping: I usually top in the third week of the plant's life, just like this time. However, now the girls are very advanced in growth, so they will have more main branches 🌴🌴 LST: Two days after topping, I anchored the lowest branches to the ground with metal clips, tied the higher branches with a string towards the edges of the flower pot, so that the light would shine on each of them 💡💡 Defoliation: In the next two days, I cut off all the large leaves that were shading the branches 🌞🌞 The girl is no longer a child, she is a strong young lady, full of branches and leaves. Hey Leute! Das ist nun der Stand nach Woche 3. Die Blütenstände entwickeln sich allmählich und allgemein macht sie mir einen guten Eindruck. Einige Blätter werden langsam gelb-lila farben, was hoffentlich auf den Fortschritt der Blüte hindeutet und nicht auf einen Mangel. Wenn ihr da mehr drüber wisst bzw. Sagen könnt, gebt mir doch gerne mal ein Kommentar. Möchte nochmal erwähnen, dass ich kein Profi bin sondern dies mein 2. Grow ist. Falls ihr Tipps für Verbesserungen habt oder Anregungen für Veränderung, gerne kommentieren! Habe die Zufuhr von Stickstoff nun angehoben um auf den erhöhten Bedarf zu reagieren, da mir die Blätter etwas zu hell aussahen.

So flushed for a week now and harvested all but one plant! Personally think I timed harvest time on a few plants wrong as they seem quite dark! Also picking at fan leaves very late on certainly didn’t help on two of the plants but overall for my first grow quite pleasing but know a lot can be improved on for my next grow! Personally also added canna pk13/14 to late into flowering time Harvest 2 x sensi skunk fem 1 x auto gsc 1 x auto bcn Remaining sensi skunk plant is currently in darkness for 72 hours before being harvested!

Day 85. All is good, could be a bit better, but no care brings such things ... AK's all grow like twins, solid and strong 40-50 g plants. I like them. Og's : one is violet and big, great plant. One is very small, one is okeish. Very variable strain, lets see how different product will be .. Happy Growing !!!

Flower development definitely set back right from the beginning with extreme light intensity reaching 1650 ppfd before corrected. Never fully took off I don’t think. Midway through week 7 started to slowly dial back the intensity from 900 at tops to 650 ppfd. This is a 9.5-10 week strain. Using fish shit to keep things ramped up, also Bokashi Bran and worm casting. Also mixing in Gaia seaweed extract 0-0-17 with the fish shit. Not a whole lot more needed that the soil and top dressings doesn’t already have, if anything at all. I just like to give it that extra kick. I had completely wiped out those pesky fungus gnats and future offspring before flower, but they came back after top dressing and adding more soil. They come in the bag soil, and while I was on holidays for 10 days they came back and I wasn’t on top of the new wave of those dirty bastards. Just about got them cleared out again with the use of nematodes and sticky traps.

Today was a special day for me… My babies got flipped to flower.

Today is day 23 of flower. So I've been chasing a minor P-K deficiency. The plants are happy and healthy and are just feeding heavy at the moment. Well over and above any recommended servings with respect to the dry amendments and water soluble P-K inputs. As with any grow regardless of what you're using for inputs (organic amendments/salt based bottle feeding/crop salts/etc....) the recommended feed rates are never anything more than a baseline. So to remedy the deficiency I added the Flower 2 at 1.5 times the reccomended dosage (3 grams per liter of water) and a little over twice the dosage of Gaia Green 2-8-4 Power Bloom dry amendments (250ml per 7 gallon pot). I also fed a mung bean/barley seed sprout tea as well as a compost tea (2/3 of a cup of each seed). The feed rates will stay well above recommended servings for the Flower 2 but the 250ml addition of the 2-8-4 would be considered a large addition for a single serving so I will give the plants 5-7 days to see how they react to dry amendments before top amending again at any rate (you cant burn your plants with organic inputs but you can still suffer nutrient lockout so you need to be mindful and patient when feeding heavy.) On day 19 of flower I did a large pruning/defoliation/lollipopping of the plants. Both from the top of the pot to the bottom of the first layer of trellis removing everything. I also cleaned the plants out from above the first layer of trellis netting to the top of the plant. As I waited to clean up the bottom third of the plants until my typical strip day in flower (day 18-21 depending on strain and flowering times, these are 9 week strains which is why the strip falls in the day 18-21 range, if they were 8 week finishers the leaf strip would take place somewhere between days 14-16). When running multiple layers of trellis netting it's best to prune/lollipop everything below the first layer of netting about 7-10 days before the flip. Odds are your lights wont penetrate that far down the plant so these areas of the plant typically only produce what's commonly known as larf. I'm running new lights so I decided I'd wait until the big strip I always do in flower. This was grower error. I know better and wont make this mistake again. Its unnecessary stress added during flower that could've been prevented. As I decided to wait to clean out the bottoms I didnt prune the plants as aggressively as I normally would (I adopted Grand Master Levels leaf strip practices years ago, check him out on IG or YouTube if you want to see what that looks like). The week went smoothly with no major issues to report. The seasons are changing here so were getting rain, damp wet snow, and have very humid conditions outside. As a result this affects the atmosphere in my grow room but not enough to cause concern. A little less than 6 weeks until the chop!

The theme for this week? Patience and appreciation. These girls continue to grow at their own pace, each one showcasing their unique traits and incredible beauty. Week Recap: Slow and Steady Wins the Race The girls are still on the slower side in terms of growth, but that’s part of their charm. Each leaf is a masterpiece, more intricate and stunning than the last. Their prayer posture remains consistent—a true testament to their health and contentment in their environment. They may be taking their time, but their vitality and uniqueness shine through every step of the way. Environmental Conditions: Keeping Things Balanced This week has been about maintaining a steady environment despite the natural slowdown in growth due to cooler temperatures. • Temps: Daytime 18–20°C, nighttime 14–16°C. It’s a bit chillier than usual, but these resilient ladies are adapting beautifully. • Humidity: Stable at 65%, ensuring the girls remain hydrated and comfortable. • Airflow: Gentle but constant to keep the space fresh and prevent any stagnant air pockets. Feeding Program: Aptus Holland Perfection Feeding remains consistent, and the girls are loving the organic-mineral lineup from Aptus Holland. Here’s what’s in their mix this week: • Regulator: 0.15 ml/L – To strengthen cell walls and increase stress resistance. • CalMag Boost: 0.25 ml/L – For robust development and prevention of deficiencies. • StartBooster: 0.25 ml/L – Enhances early vegetative growth and root systems. The switch to All-in-One Pellets last week has eliminated the need for liquid All-in-One, and the girls seem to be thriving with this natural, slow-release food source. Watering: A Gnat-Free Approach This week, I continued with bottom watering. Filling the trays and letting the soil absorb the water has been a game-changer—not just for healthy root development but also as a part of the war against gnats. Paired with yellow sticky traps, this strategy has kept pests in check while ensuring the roots get all the hydration they need. Growth Observations: Slow but Stunning • Structure: The slow growth might test patience, but the payoff is worth it. The compact, vibrant structure of each plant is breathtaking. • Leaves: Dark green, uniquely shaped, and full of character. Each girl is like an artist’s brushstroke—no two alike. • Praying Posture: Their leaves reach for the skies like they’re soaking up every ounce of light. Still no cloning or flipping to 12/12 yet, as I want them to grow a bit more before making any big moves. Next week, I’ll decide whether to flip them for a brief period to determine sex or wait until cloning is feasible. Photography Spotlight: Capturing the Details This week, I took some time to immortalize their beauty with my Sony A6000 and Nikon DSLR cameras. Having a blast sharing more content lately—I’m in the zone with editing and creating, so get ready for even more shares! 🌡️ Environmental Control and Fine-Tuning the Reservoir pH Temps this week have been holding around 27.2°C with RH at 65.2% and CO2 at 800 ppm, creating a VPD of 1.26 for ideal flower development. The lighting intensity is at 833 PPFD, and the solution in the reservoir is fine-tuned to a pH of 6.22, EC of 475, with a temp of 21.8°C. Let’s talk pH in the reservoir: it’s a dynamic process, and I’m constantly adjusting it to keep everything at the right level. The pH tends to rise throughout the week, and each day, I work it back down, fine-tuning it to keep those plants happy and balanced. Managing pH is truly a hands-on job, and it’s worth every moment. I love staying on top of it for optimal nutrient uptake—it’s all about consistent effort and keeping that perfect range dialed in. Leaf Maintenance & Selective Defoliation These leaves are HUGE and gorgeous, creating a lush canopy that’s nearly too perfect! I’ve been taking a few leaves here and there, focusing on leaves that may be blocking light from reaching lower parts of the plant. Selective defoliation at this stage is key because it opens up airflow and allows light to penetrate deep, boosting energy distribution across the whole plant. Big, healthy leaves mean we’re getting excellent photosynthesis, but a gentle, strategic defoliation can guide that energy toward those developing buds. Veg box is starting to flourish. Both lemon and sativa clone are very bushy and healthy. All others are healthy as well, and will be topping these soon. Once they start shooting again they’ll be transplanted once more and thrown into flower to start my first “sog” grow. Two ladies in flower are well. One still showing burnt and curled tips and I think flower growth is slowing down. The other is happy and well. There were two babies out in flower last week, one turned male. The other is happy and healthy. Until next week...
