Blue Shark is looking fab! Still a darker green than everyone else. There are 2 videos this week, one where I explain how my plan for a tomato roof using materials I already had didn't work out, and the 2nd being about the rogue who grew in my pea bed (whom I affectionately call "Rogue One") who has been raised almost exclusively on my homemade compost. I had people who were concerned last year when I made my own compost tea from the compost in my pile. People were concerned about bacteria, nutrient profile, etc. I feel like a lot of people get really regimented in their feeding, and they sort of forget that these are plants and they can adapt. They take what they need if it's available. I moved away from using mineral salts this year because you have to be careful with so many of these fertilizers so that you don't burn the plant, you have to flush it so you don't get a harsh smoke, mineral salts causing lockout, etc. If you stick with products that are natural you don't really have to worry about nute burn. You don't have to flush for an extended period of time before harvest. You don't have salts building up in the soil that are detrimental that you have to periodically flush and then add beneficial microbes back in. There is another way.

Getting some ambers on the buds now, so not too much longer. The buds just keep getting tighter and more dense so I'm not complaining.

Stretch is mostly over and can see,buds begin to fatten up. 🔥Gelato, Do si do, and amnesia are in a 3 way tie for tallest plant but amnesia got tallest the fastest. Alaskan purples are the runts of the group.🔥 Amnesia has the biggest buds followed closely by the do si do and gelato tied for 2nd. Within days of getting the air fixed 😁😁😁 almost done venting the heat from the dehumidifier almost time to let the ladies get ripe in the dry coolness 😎😎😎

Sooo the testers are all looking lovely and healthy sad thing is I cant get them that saturated with nutes but other then that they are doing good. The switch to bloom was easy because of Advanced Bud Blood!

Everybody is getting their fade on thinking about Harvesting next weekend

Cruise control... Watered plain water 6.7ph on Wednesday and Sunday.... Literally no fuss. The Stalks are fatter than a #2 pencil already. No sex yet. I need them to hurry on that because I think they are already getting close to needing a flip. They should be some good sized plants. Which the 3 gallon are obviously going to be to small for a plant this robust. Maybe if I had flipped them already... All 3 are showing desirable traits. So I think we just send them all into flower and decide which one gets either Back crossed or maybe 1 of these will be a male! If one is a male then I will shoot for an F2 pollination / Offspring. But if not the back cross should be good as well. Not much else to report on this diary, easy cheesy week. Thank you all for looking.

Handled my ph issues now back to the growth. This week has only been nothing but final stretching and bud production which I’m so ready for! 3+ weeks left 🤞🏾

Are the hairs on the top of the buds a result of the bananas i pulled out? I'm not sure what stage i'm at, should I start flushing now or should I wait one more week? If Super Lemon Haze takes 11 weeks to flower properly should I wait the extra week?

Start of week 8, day 50. So it's the final week and it's just water for the girls.i don't think they need more than 8 weeks as they are showing amber trichomes on both plants. This strain has taken the summer heat here with no obvious signs of issues. I usually encounter heat stress that normally effects final yield, in my summer grows. But that doesn't seem to be the case here. Thanks LIT for this great grow.

I started getting new growth from the tops of my colas. I thought this might of been down to raising the light up 10cm but it might of been down to high light intensity so I also moved one abit further away from the other to try and help. The pictures in the dark and videos was around 4minutes before the lights came on as all my photos are over exposed. Next to this plant I have an experiment with pink kush and zombie kush using the light given of from this grow.

Week 3 three had ended into the fourth week with some pollen dusted on one of the branches....let's see what happen

Couldn’t manage the stretching anymore ... heartbreaking but this is the end for this G14.

Don't mind the additional plants, they'll be joining along but won't be a focus in this journal. By this point, all of the plants are really upping their drinking frequency. I can tell by next week, I'll be watering every day. Seriously loving this pairing of nutrients together. A huge note to make though, is little pistils are popping up everywhere now! It'll be two weeks - max - before we are in flower! The health of all of these girls really makes the transition, that much more exciting! Got 4 really similar plants and 2 uniques to fill in the gap. My headcanon is treating all of these Ethos plants as rare items - like in a videogame 😂. Given how expensive these genetics are, it's kind of true lmao. One relevant footnote I wanted to make was that the Banana Dad Photo seems to have far thicker fan leaves than the autoflower counterparts at this stage. You can see it quite prevalently in the overview photo for the week. Tucking the autos has been very painless, and an emergency defol.(to get light where it needs to be) doesn't seem to bring any drawbacks. The photo seems to be recovering still from removing one of the main fan leaves about a week ago. Visually, she seems a bit behind the Banana Dad auto I refer to as BR, just with larger fan leaves. Either way, I'm sure they'll stretch a decent amount within the next two weeks. I also raised the light up a bit more, to hopefully encourage just a bit more vertical growth during the trans. stretch. Day 44 from seed update: All of the girls look great! As a matter of fact, there are actual buds now! And it may be hard to see, but there's a slight blue-ish hue appearing on the older fan leaves - A similar thing happened to my Early Lemon Berry just before she went completely purple/magenta. I'm also welcomed to a sweet grape scent now every time I open the tent, really pleasant. Things are going quite smooth during transition, within the next two weeks, I'll be removing XSD from the schedule(recommended according to Labmor). Day 114. Gorilla Max is totally ready, maybe she would bulk up, but last white pistil went brown at least a week ago. Time to trim. Bud not solid, but kinda hard, bottom all airy and small, but she smells and sticky like hell, so fruity ... Had to chop her, because got tiered of seeds everywhere, so cleaned my draws and fridge, from 45 found bag seeds started new diary, had to make space for them. Want to try out 12/12 from start and even if i would leave them under natural sun , they would stretch too much in first stage of grow and would repeat that grow patern indoors. Scissors hash was nice, super soft, hard to roll, all stays on hands. On this plant found two seeds, maybe some hidden in colas, but its not even close to bad that i was imagining at the beginning. My watering damage is obvious, Gorilla Max and Bunny were best plants, now - they are smallest... Last weeks very important, till week 5 of flower and that incident they were leaders, overdrying don't work . Hope i will learn this lesson. Day 120. Last 3 girls are down. Gorilla Max - 88 g. Of dry bud. Think she and Bunny will be smallest of them all. Buds are airy, but very sticky and all calaxies went pink. So in spliff it looks really funky. Needed to lolitop them higher, maybe overall look and cola structure would be better then. Lanky Gorilla is a champ, no doubt. Think this girl should beat 4 ounces easy. Day 126. So total of all 4 plants is 401. A bit less than was hoping, but target achieved. Update will follow.
