the roots obstruct the drainage of the system and the water does not descend into the tank easily and the rockwools and roots are flooded, this causes the increase of ph in the reservoir and in the rockwools. this week I hope to solve the problem, for the moment I use a timer for the water pump (15 on 30 off). update: I solved the problem of the roots on the drain by folding the mat on itself with the whole pack of roots descended into the tub, a little rough but functional. but unfortunately I lost almost a week to flush the girls due to the flooding of the root zone I have to start halving the doses of nutrients again ... ... it was a bad week but maybe I learned something 🍀 water pump restored 24/24h Light lifted up from 50 to 90cm Ppfd 1300 > 1000

She had her issues and is not a big yielder. But she makes up for it in beauty and aroma! Wow!! It was sunny and hot all week! You can see that they almost doubled their size and are looking pretty much more healthy. That is also because I followed @MadeInGermany 's advice and decided to wait more until I had to water. They seem to have liked that, beacuse there is no more sign of Ca blocking in the leaves. And they grew very nicely, no need of everything. Also following his advice I will use Cal/Mag in the next watering. But, you know, I'm making it cheap... so I will use another home-made recipe: wood ash fertilizer, which include those nutrients and some that are needed in flowering stage -which seems to be starting, so next week will have the flowering label-. It also degrades the N in the soil that could be still causing a little overfeeding (leaves' tips are a bit burnt). However, I admit that my mistake was overwatering from the beggining. Lesson learned! No watering for the whole week and the plnat didn't seem to worry about it. Man! If only it had been this sunny all the time! Plants look very healthier and are way bigger, with huge new leaves. A little amount of pistils showed up in the last days, so I guess it is the moment for stretching. Knowing that, I decided to do a little training on Sweet, as it is the one a bit behind. You can see in the last picture how I took a couple leaves that were blocking light from side branches-future bud sites- and taped them, so they didn't. If results are good I might do the same with Rebel, but I have a feeling that she'll do good without it. Sadly, next week will be all rainy and cloudy... Nothing to do tho. 09/04 - So I'm germinating in a Root Riot pellet which was soaked in 5.5pH'd water. Should be up in a couple of days - check back!! Thanks so much to @SwissKush and @Hashy for the guidance and the courage to try this new way of growing - at least new to me! For 70+ years, I've only grown things in soil but a day not learning something new is a day wasted... and no, that is NOT a picture of me in that meme! LOL! 09/07 - I HAVE A ROOT!!!! The cotelydon has yet to make an appearance, BUT I HAVE A ROOT!!!!! She will be set on the bucket this morning to continue her journey. And she's now in the bucket, air pump is on, water at 5.8pH.. This afternoon, the seedling broke through and I removed most of the cling film covering the pot... I can't wait to see how much she grows over night!! YAY!!!! Talk about "FAST buds" ... WOW! 09/08 - Added a few more clay pieces and gave the seedling 1tsp water twice today. Bucket only needed about 1/4 gallon to top up to just under the pot... 09/09 - moved her into her new home and all is well. She had been stretching a little too much for my liking when she had to share the light with my other FastBuds grow which are well into flower... moving her to her OWN home now allows me to get the light closer to her and she's appreciative! 09/10 - I didn't get to take a pic of her on Day 3 - completely slipped my mind! She is soon going to take off - her new home is a funky little space that measures APPROXIMATELY 32"x32"x7' - more than enough room for her to grow as big as she wants! 09/11 - Day 5 of this little one's life... and she's getting bigger and bigger... can't wait for her roots to hit the water! I'm loving the Root Riot - gives her good nutrition to help her grow in this early stage.. Shout out to @FastBuds - this one's going to be GREAT!!! 09/12 - Day 6 and tomorrow, I get to add another week to this diary! But what I REALLY want is for her roots to hit the water! I can't wait! I'm ready to replace all the water in my bucket tomorrow and add 1/2 strength of my DaKine420 nutes so that when those roots hit the water, there will be something for them to latch onto and GROW!!!! Love these nutes but can't find anyone who is growing with them here and they don't come up on the list when I'm filling in the weekly nute information. Green House Feeded one is enjoying life and keeps stretching. Advanced Nutrients one moved to left top corner and she seems to be doing better than last week. Light intensisty is at 90% in 50 cm distance.

Nearing the end of this plants growth, I was somewhat busy and wasn’t as tentative to that plant as I normally will be. I did however tuck and hang branches with bigger bud sites to get better air flow and light penetration as well as defoliating the lower small sights slowly over a few days. Each branch is extremely heavy and packed with trichome covered buds.

She is still drinking heavy and bulking up. Smells very fruity with the bigger sun leaves starting to fade to purple. Still a ways to go. Probably another 2 weeks or so.

●Well unfortunately the ballast blew on my light so I'm harvesting 6 days or so sooner than I had wanted. Will be giving a 6 or 7 day hang dry. I will post weights and flavors once dried and cured. As of now Big Bud has a strong bubblegum aroma. I'm very excited to give her a taste!

Finally made it to flower. Did a supercrop on one of the Mr big runtz x Gary Payton. Both Pablo’s revenges are smaller with tighter nodal spacing so far. Let’s see what they do.
