Mais uma semana demonstrando uma deficiência que me parece ser Magnésio, porém é sempre complexo em se tratando de coco pois o equilíbrio entre K, Ca, Mg e Fe é ainda mais complexo nesse tipo de mídia. Fato é que esses clones foram retirados com urgência sem que eu conseguisse ter feito uma seleção da madre antes, e a planta mãe apresentou essa deficiência o ciclo todo e não houve o que eu conseguisse fazer para corrigir, etnão devo estar fadado à isso novamente. Vivendo e aprendendo! Fiz um ajuste na nutrição para poder testar. O objetivo e conseguir entregar os ppm de cada elemento muito próximo do feedchart da Advanced Nutrients, porém usando fertilizante mineral muito mais barato e acessível no meu país, e algumas sobras q tenho da linha GH Sigam também meu Instagram @casadasarvoresgrow Cultivo Medicinal brasileiro. 06/12/23 - Day 0 Here we go again!! After a successful run of 3 strains, I've decided to pop a 3 pack of MilkyWay F1 from RQS. 3 seeds are in a wet paper towel, inside a plastic sandwich bag, into a dark warm cupboard. Im hoping they all germinate!! LET'S GROW!!! 08/12/23 - Day 2 from seed All 3 seeds have cracked and tap roots have come out, so i've put them in the peat pots. I mixed coco coir and perlite at 70/30. I've also decided to add a teaspoon of DYNOMYCO’s Mycorrhizae in each little pot too. 10/12/23 - Day 4 2 out of 3 have sprouted, the 3rd isn't too far behind. 11/12/23 3 out of 3 are out and thriving!! we're well within schedule and we're off to a very good start!! 12/12/23 - Day 6 I've decided to move all 3 into their final pots today! I'm using Plagron AllMix in 12L pots with a nice big drip dish. Into the tent they go!!!

She is off to a great start. I sprouted her right in the rockwool in the DWC. Looking forward to see what we can make this lady do for us. My tent seems to work best with mature plants in the 36” range although my setup can handle 60” in height the width becomes an issue. I plan to flower her when she is about 16” tall.

She's fat, healthy and about ready to be chopped :) She will start flushing at the end of this week

Week 16 Everybody is on Flower! End of August: daylight 13h20: 7h20/20h40. Day temperature max: 26°C - Night temperature : 17°C Sunny weather - 2/3 rainy days in 2 weeks Enriched the soil with seaweed powder and bat guano. Continue to add flowering nutrients: Grower Master I added some Calmag one time. Watering 2L/plant every 3 days (2 days would be better) With humidity growing and the relatives hot temperatures: the predators are attacking plants. Everything appears so fast: Aphids, caterpillars, leaf miner flies. Did a general defoliation before spray my mixture Garlic + laurel (12cl Garlic juice + 5cl laurel infusion + 1L distilled water: beware PH!!). I sprinkled diatomaceous earth on top of soil to protect and minimize the infestation. Brake Pad Breath: still deep green and bushy. Flowering since 4 weeks. The most advanced, pretty good flowers with long pistils are growing. Spared until now: the plant is victim of Aphids, miner leaf flies and caterpillars in a « reasonable way »….try to eradicate the problem without shocking the plant at this stage. Flash Back#2: around 2 weeks flowering, stretched a few centimeters more, well developed plants with lot of blooming sites. Relatively spared by pests, just some aphids. GMO X Zombie Kush: some difficulties to recover….just engaged the flowering process, not to bad if she resist to the second pest’s wave. Royal Moby: uncertain destiny….recovering good, sativa style: 155cm, just starting the flowering stage…super late! Harvested a pretty auto flower: White Russian by Serious Seeds. Well developed plant, a little bit long to be ready but resinous and meaty buds.

Such Bittersweet Joy Added this week as ‘Flowering’ although technically should be harvested as I but I haven’t had a chance to weigh or anything. I will do that next week once trimmed etc. So finally cut them down on D89, it was a beautiful day outside and it just felt right. Although when it came to the deed itself I felt sadder than I thought I would for my girls and the time we had together. All 6 (I’m growing another 3 different strains but not included on this diary) are now hanging to dry in the tent. Temp -18 C; Humidity-60% seems to be holding steady with no tinkering thankfully. After the 3 days they have all dried noticeably, perhaps 4/5 more before trimming / curing. I’ve had quite a close look at most of the harvest and as far as this noob can tell, there doesn’t seem to be any issues with mould / bud rot. Fingers remain crossed. I did have one very profound moment this week... It happened as I was surveying the harvest hanging up for the first time. I could feel my mindset change suddenly from the constant paranoia over their health and overcoming my impatience to “I actually have a crap load of weed”. It was beautiful beautiful moment... - I didn't weight wet buds. - The trichomes photos have been taken just before the harvest on buds all over the plant. - The hash ball was a little less than 1cm diameter. - Drying was made at 20°C and around 50% of humidity. - Humidity in jar around 50% on the first day, temperature around 20°C. Veg time : 53 days. Flowering time : 68 days. Total time from seed to harvest : 121 days. Height : 120cm Pot size : 26l

SuperSativaSeedClub PurplePunch OG Auto These girls are doing good after the transplant. I did loose one. Both the others seem to be bouncing back. Still some crispy leafs but overall it looks like more healthy are growing. All in all Happy Growing.

Day 15

Very heavy indica. Gets you so freaking stoned its awesome haha. Myself and a few mates already all said this pheno is a definite keeper! huge heads, amazing taste, incredible smell and best of all knocks like a donkey just kicked you😆😂😃 Already got clones growing for the next run! will be growing this strain probably for the next year straight.

Day 14 flower Hey Growers So day 14 of flower, I decided to defoliate as the tent was getting so overgrown. They are drying out quickly and the media is dense with roots. They are going to require daily watering very shortly. They seem quite happy and doing well. You can see in one of the pictures, the leaf edge is raised, which idk exactly what that is. I’ve decreased the light to 70% until I know how they’ll react. Other than that just put in the trellis to support the tops. Happy Growing 🌱

This was the first run of a FastBuds strain and I appeared to have picked a strain that works well with my grow style. She had nice wide indica leaves at the start of her growth and by two weeks over the sides of the pot. 3 gal seems to be a good pot size given her life span and her size. She flipped to flower as expected in week 4. From there she steadily gained weight in flower and was a struggle to keep her tied down with LST. Removing the lower bud sites on the side branches would also have helped to fill in her top colas so don’t be worried that she won’t fill in and you talk yourself into leaving them......cut them off😃👍She sets into a nice yellow fade on the leaves and the edges take on a purple colour. Add in red and orange hairs with everything covered in trichomes and she is a beautiful girl🤩🤩 Flush was over two weeks so expect a smooth smoke 🤞 Will follow up with more as she progresses through drying. In the box with temp at 62 to 66 degrees and humidity at 60%. Branches are not that long so I am expecting dry should be around 7 to 10 days. *******Updated Mar 7/20********* Dry went okay and she was in there for 9 day dry, Feb 25 to Mar 5th. Will be waiting until she has roughly a three week cure before I sample anymore. Did a little for not just to test her out. Further notes from dry and trim........ Should have fed her another week for increased density. Smoke is smooth so far, I don’t mind sacrificing weight for smooth smoke but not sure it was a needed trade off with this girl. Find out next run of her, which will be very soon😀👍 Her high is nice and strong. Not much sampled so far........rather say more to come in a few weeks......sweet and impressive so far!!!! Again a real pleasure to grow and I see more opportunity to do better with this girl😃 Very excited to go again and will definitely be in the next auto run again. Love how she grew and looked! Already ordered more FastBuds genetics and will see Girl Scout Cookies with another Zkittlez for sure!!! 6 out of 8 plants in pre-flowering, i replaced my humidifier with the dehumidifier, very present smell when I open the tent, a little early like my last crop. ⚠️ Day 26: Green gelato is hermaphrodite, destruction of the Green gelato, burial of a northern light.

10 September Harvest - see pictures. While some growers leave the plant whole when they cut, I do not. It is a personal preference and situational convenience if your a home grower. I chose to cut large, long branches, and remove any whole water leaves, as long as it doesn’t interfere with the bud formation. I don’t trim yet. This is done for a few of reasons: 1) It’s my last good close-up look at her until another 5 days or more, 2) I don’t want wet leaves drying on my buds if I can help it, and 3) I occasionally like being able to shine a small LED flashlight on the flowers while its drying. Mold is our greatest problem as growers, it can destroy a beautiful grow right up until the end process. Then I hang it in a dark closet, provide circulation and ventilation. Light and heat, anything above 80 degrees F, will start a break down in cannabinoids during the dry, it is ideal to stay away from both. I’m fortunate that a humidity level of 50- 55% and temperature of 65-70 degrees F is fairly consistent and easy to maintain. Anything below 60 degree F will prevent the adequate drying out of chlorophyll. Almost all my flower routinely take 5-7 days, some a little longer, to properly dry out. 15 September Trim - see pictures. First you’ll notice the buds have shrunk up to half their original size. This is just a fact that we growers have to deal with. Due to evaporation without uptake of water, it takes about 3 days for the chlorophyll to dry up, then slowly go through a chemical change. Along with the leaves, cannabinoids also begin a chemical change after 3 days called decarboxylation. A slow process where the THC level increases while curing. You want the leaf to be dry so they can be hand trimmed easily, but you do not want that bud so dry that it starts to fall apart in your hand. Try to handle carefully by the main stem to avoid touching the bud all together. A lot of these cut leaves will be covered with trichomes, good for making oils, or other products, it’s an option worth looking into keeping it. After trimming, I do separate a few premium flowers for my first smoq. Then loosely fill wide mouth quart mason jars with about 1 oz/28 gr of product per jar. I seal the lids for a few hours to determine what relative humidity they are at, see hygrometer pic, before making a decision to put in a 62% humidity control pack of my choice or to wait, then place in secure in a cool dark place with stable humidity and temperature. It is very important to then observe/burp or exchange the air as needed, up to several times a day, until 62% rh is achieved. Once your close to to your mark, put in your desired RH level control terpene shield. If you have a problem getting there: 1) it has dried out too much, no real solution, try to put several large cut stems left over from harvest into the jars with the buds to try and increase humidty, 2) it has not dried out enough, in this case no problem, just remove and dry out a little more. This is also a personal choice, some people like it drier in the 50% plus range. Whatever you do, research and preserve. At that time burping is no longer required. Cannabis will reach its peak potency potential at about 40 or so days into the cure. The finished product should be a perfect grind when cured correctly without clogging up your grinder, this could take a month. Now that I’ve said that, I’m sure someone has grown something that they have not been able to grind. It can remain in this state for an easy 6 months with little change, locking in all the terpenes and potencies. All you need to do is occasionally check the product to ensure there are no molds. If your grow/harvest/cure techniques are good this should not be an issue. It would not be uncommon to find many cannabis strains will last, with small degradable change, for up to one year after being stored this way. Using an airtight glass container, controlled relative humidity, maintained low temperature, and kept in darkness will equal maximum shelf life. Always avoid direct sunlight and temperatures above 80 degrees F. The reasons I’ve ultimately chosen Deep Water Culture as a grow medium. Each has their own pros and cons indeed. I found the most efficient, less maintenance and ideal solution for my situation was DWC. Burdens to overcome depend on size up set-up; initial equipment cost, size of containers, ph monitors, air pumps, type of water to use-reverse osmosis, RO cost/set-up/maintenance, ways to transfer/change water and nutrients, what nutrients to use and schedules, takes several grows to learn and understand, a 1 year learning curv, easy to nutrient burn. The Benefits of growing in water; no dirt, no bugs, no diseases, rare nutrient deficiencies/toxicities, steady and rapid growth that enables the plant to reach its genetic potential. After harvest, there is about a 1 hour equipment cleanup, sterilization and turn around process before replanting. Cannabis will perform in so many different ways and mediums, no one way is the best and the best way is the one you are using, right. Chose what works for you in the long run. There will always be an initial cost in set-up. My advice if one were in need to cut corners, I would not recommend cheap lights. This single factor is the most critical, afford for the best. The notion that organic and water has a different taste, flavor and potency effect is absolutely debatable. The more we learn the better we grow and experience is always the best teacher. This is what works for me and my methods of growing in general from beginning to end. A BIG “Thank You” to everyone who stopped by to take a look. Fast Buds StarDawg auto Day 32 from sprout viparspectra xs2000 dialed in at 75% watering every other day to every two days Well this girl is in that pre flowering stretch! I love that she is finally taking off and reaching a taller size. I added half a tablespoon of down to earth 4-4-4 to 3 cups of happy frog soil to top dress during watering. Hopefully that gives her a small boost and doesnt cause any nutrient burn like i ran into my last grow. see you all next week! happy growing!
