This week the new growth of the plants transitioned from looking relatively healthy to droopy and yellowed. I wasn't sure what the issue was at first and thought it might be light stress. After more research, I determined that I had what looked very much like a zinc deficiency, which is almost always a symptom of over-watering, which is the most common mistake for new growers, i.e. "Me". I had assumed that adding a good amount of perlite to my soil and using smart pots would prevent me from running in to any drainage issues but I guess not. I was up to 1.5 liters per plant when I realized that it was too much. I also realized I was misreading my syringe which I use to mix nutrients, and that i had been giving only 1/10 of the liquid nutrients that I thought. I'm super embarrassed about the mistake but I'm going for full transparency here, so there it is. Course correction takes places after day 31.

Day 30 Feb. 18th- I feel like everything is going great -all plants are now in final 7 gallon containers..have used a lot of soil! -I have been tying the plants down as much as possible -March 2nd will be 42 days and I think that is when I will switch to 12/12 -Day 35 Feb. 24th- I need trellis netting soon I retie branches constantly for inner growth HULKBERRY and GREEN GELATO are growing similar...LSD and ROYAL GORILLA are growing similar! -Very interesting!! * I have color coated the plants like I should have a couple weeks ago -GREEN GELATO has all green pipe cleaners now...HULKBERRY has all yellow pipe cleaners. very long branches and small inner growth LSD is in all purple pipe cleaners. tying it down has done wonders! it has awesome inner growth! Now the ROYAL GORILLA in all orange pipe cleaners! This plant is a pain in the ass lol. The inner growth and spacing is insanely close!!! so many shoots all tightly together. I have tied down anything I can. Unsure how it will work in budding next week

Week 2 F D1 Another week down for my lemon ICE and everything goes well . Defoliated her one more time today since she was getting a bit bushy again and I want the lights to reach the lower parts of her ! I haven't overdone that keeping more than half of her leaves on. I think I could go a bit harder but its okey ... I find defoliation a really interesting technique for indoor gardening since plants are disease and pest free compared to outdoors. I will defoliate her one more time at the end of week 3 Cant wait for the next two weeks !! D5 Lemon ICE growing massive and those bud sites are getting taller every day! She's going super fast into flowering and more and more pistils are showing up every day Lushy deep green leaves and I really have nothing bad to say about her . Let’s go Day 46 from seed!! What a great week it’s been, girls structured up real nice veg has been huge for us, looking super healthy an catching a nice smell ! This will be the last week of feeding them the veg schedule, next we will be dipping right into bloom, starting Monday yall We will be in full bloom !! This lady has been all flowers as she bolsters her colas. Stocky and bushy... I'm really liking the structre. Lots of branches and lots of bud sites. Of course I'm happy. Shes in great health just cruising along. She got treated with Dr zhymes as a preventative. That will basically wrap up her treatments ...possibly once more with lost coast. Upped the pk intake as she is blooming strong now. Gotta keep that engine well fuelled. Response was stellar. Happy happy happy lady. Until next update. Happy growing and stay lit fam.
