The blue dream is finishing off the bloom cycle. The plants leaves are fading evermore leaves are practically yellow. The stalk is beginning to decay. The aroma emanating from the plant has increased smells like fortified wine with a floral essence. The try chromes have covered all the flowers and are most of them are milky! Great strain for beginners, easy to grow don't require too much attention or special techniques . She will grow fast, gorgeous and smell very very strong, I didn't think I was going to be able to harvest more than an ounce (because this is my first time) but hey, I'm very happy with my 41G! The buds were skinny but dense in flavour, I wonder why the buds didn't get fat, its because of my LED panels, or genetics? Overall I recommend this strain for first time growers!

Weather was better than before. A couple of sunny and warmer days. Installed the lights with the timer in order to support a 16/8 light cycle with a 1 minute burst of light every two hours at night. Mid week i transplanted them, super happy about that. Cover crop looks great. The placeholder pots have been filled with horsetail, alfalfa, bokashi and worms. Cleared them out to use it as mulch on top. Watered them in with fresh brewed vermicompost tea. The Jamaican Dream CBD will later move into the garden, so the roots can connect with the soil through the bottom of the bag. Plants looking great by the end of week, but still in flower.... started a new run for back up and a friend of mine would give me some very nice seedlings and clones if things go wrong.

Buds are coming along nicely, they started off with a not so appealing smell but eventually started to smell very sweet. Increased dosage for increased blooming and ripening. Missed update for day 49 but vids from previous day makes up for it. Side note, I created a homemade Co2 bag with ingredients that is easily available and affordable. I don't think I let is have an effect on my buds but it sure did smell awful. After the 5th day, I got rid of it.

Done. Harvested ALL on Day 72 - one LCC was very heavy on amber trichomes, one BPP and one LCC were what i consider optimum, and one BPP was VERY milky, like peak potency. very few amber. Interested to try them all! Total Drying time was 7 Days for both LCCs and 8 Days for both BPPs. I decided to do my first proper dry trim. For two plants i hit the spot and could just shave off the remaining leaves. For the other two it was much more of a hassle. They already smell way better than my previous runs where i dry trimmed. Also the colors are awesome for both plants that purpled. Smoke review will have to wait some time. Right now, all of them are curing.

Tuesday, February 9 Fed plants on Saturday 3/4 gallon each. I added 1tsp/ga of Bud Candy and 2.5tsp/ga of Tiger Bloom by Fox Farm. Water was @6.3 pH. I also fed Monday February 8 in the evening. Gave plants a compost tea made with 2 cups of Dr Earths flower bloom, 1 cup of powdered bone meal at a 4-12-0 ratio, and also added 2.5tbs of un-sulfured molasses to 2.5 ga of water @6.4pH. I let tea brew for 24hrs with an aquatic aerator. Bud sites appear to have white pistil hairs continuing to grow and multiply. Stalks look healthy and I’m glad to see the plants finally progress! Temps have been ranging b/w 76F-82F with RH b/w 43%-56%. Ive raised the light as tall as I possibly could to keep stalks from touching the light and causing some burning. Ive also added some bamboo stakes to help provide support to some sites that were touching the LED light, I've also changed to shorter, rubber block supports for the pots to sit on instead of the taller rolling holders to help lower the plants and allow for a little more growth. I mixed 1.25tsp/ga of CalMag and 0.5tsp/ga of the "Great White". Plants are showing steady growth and the one on the far left seems to be ahead of the other two, makes sense seeing as it was in soil 10-13 days prior to the other two before the early growth medium issues. I can't believe its taken this long for these Autos to begin flowering but Im just glad that they appear to at least finish out now. This has been a great learning experience not only about gardening and this plant but also the opportunity to learn a good deal about myself as this has become a form of relaxation and reflection for me. So, I threw out Fruit Diesel and Bruce Banner because of insufficient development. I still made a mistake, it is better to plant 4 plants under such a lamp, but not 6. I installed a dehumidifier, the humidity reaches 60% - no more. All the same, in a hot climate air conditioning to reduce humidity is not possible.

So today I started the flush, is the first time I used a product to flush, I have read and basically, the community is split in half about to flush or not to flush, I will see first hand if actually flushing creates a better quality.

We back with some buckets! Time to fire up the pumps and get this show on the road. If you haven't seen sugar cane then you need to crawl out from under the rock you're hiding in. Soaked this beautiful little gem of a bean in some water until it cracked then threw it into the bucket with 100% perlite. Started them on a low dose of maxigro on day 3. Doing these diy Dutch Bucket style as always. Going to be running 8 in house genetics strains on the system with constant 24 hour a day irrigation. Not much exciting going on yet, but with a little luck that may change pretty soon.

I came to the conclusion that my issues all stem from the fact that I was doing two things wrong with my watering: 1. Too much (duh) 2. Too fast! I was using a watering can and it is talked about time and time again to use a hand sprayer to ensure even distribution and slow release. It is very challenging with a no till method because I’m impatient and I need to remember that I’m nurturing the living soil, not the plant and this method is far different from my outdoor and hydroponic experience. Week four was definitely the week when the plants started to really grow bigger, I started some LST at my way cause even if I check thousands of videos I end it up doing what I thought was better for my plants, I perhaps was a bit late so it wasn’t stretching as I thought it would have, maybe I shouldn’t have wait this long, but again first time learning a lots.. I let the plant grow with LST only in week 4 in week 5 I introduced a scrog I made myself cause I thought that I couldn’t keep doing lst because I started too late

Es la última semana antes de nuestra cosecha, el tiempo se nos echó encima y las Flores ya están echas, se preparó un lavado de raíces y tijeretazo,para sucesivamente colgarlas.( PRIMERA VEZ que se me echa el tiempo encima con la floración, jurao) Me habría gustado darles algo de estrés hídrico, pero lo veremos con las lemon kush y las northern light xL. -power plant xL es una cepa con predominancia sativa, con una corta floración,es un ejemplar fácil de cultivar, fuerte, y vigoroso. Estos ejemplares se cultivaron en 7L en sustrato light MIX de plagrOn, controlando en todo momento el PH de nuestras plantas, y dándoles de comer una gama advanced nutrients bastante básica. -PROS: facil cultivar, flores llenas de resina , flores compactas, ramas laterales largas. -CONTRAS: hay que tutorar por el peso de la flor, floración demasiado rápida a mi gusto (no te das ni cuenta). *Aquí ya me despido hasta la cosecha familia.
