Week 7 in the comedy of my garden journey, and my green squad has decided to embrace the art of being vertically challenged – they're like the plant version of a pocket-sized superhero team. "Short and sassy" seems to be their new motto. In an attempt to uplift their spirits, two of the ladies scored a new, roomier 3-gallon final home – it's like they moved from a cozy apartment to a botanical mansion, hoping a change of scenery would inspire some vertical ambition. They're probably comparing their new homes and deciding who has the fanciest leafy chandelier. However, the plot thickens as one plant emerges with a leafy fashion statement that's a bit too avant-garde – discoloration that could rival a Picasso painting. Is it a magnesium deficiency or an oxygen rebellion? The plant might as well be holding a tiny protest sign that says, "Give me answers or give me wilting!" Playing the role of a plant detective, I cranked up the fans, turning my grow tent into a botanical wind tunnel. It's like a leafy hurricane is sweeping through, and my plants are either loving the breeze or planning their escape. As a bonus, I threw in a leafy spa day – deformation and topping, because who doesn't love a good horticultural makeover? But wait, there's more! In the midst of the botanical sitcom, the humidity decided to play the villain in this leafy drama. It's like the humidity gauge is staging a rebellion of its own. So, armed with misters and perhaps a leafy motivational speech, I'm on a mission to turn my grow tent into a tropical paradise and give my plants the humidity vacation they didn't know they needed. Week 7 – where the plants are short, the homes are upgraded, the leaves are avant-garde, and the humidity is throwing a curveball. I used the glass of water technique, soaked it for 18 hours then transferred it to moist paper towel (paper towel method) put it on a plate and placed it on a dark and warm area and spray water once the paper towel goes dry. 2-3 days until the seed crack and reveals its tail then i planted it on my medium.

After 5 days away, I couldn't wait to be back and see how they were doing 😍 I'm glad the automatic watering machine worked and they all are doing great, yeay. The fade has started and they look beautiful, just like their Mama ❤️ They have only been fed with water while I was gone and got a good (last?) feed on the last day of week 14, which is Day 98 in total and Day 51 of Flower. Their mom was sent into darkness on Day 62 of flower and since they are so similar, my guess is roughly the next 10 days. Yeay 🙌 I missed this bud. Happy week everyone ✌️

Just been feeding her water once a week..she continues to swell I will give her some molasses one for the road and just water until week 8.

Flipped to flower let's go now... halfway there and I'm so pumped!!! Gave them 72 hours of darkness. Now it time to watch them do what they do!!

Hello Growmies, Week 3 for our Watermelon Candy by Zamnesia is unfolding with promise as we observe their transition through pre-flower. Opting for low-stress training over topping, we're guiding their growth gently to maximize their potential. The plants have gracefully reached our SCROG, and with two already skillfully trained, they are demonstrating adaptability and robustness. Through the canopy, we see an even spread of foliage, indicating that our LST approach is on point. The structure of the plants is sturdy, showing that the careful maneuvering through the SCROG mesh has been well received. The greenery is lush, leaves are perked up, reaching for the light—signs that our Watermelon Candy plants are in their element and thriving. Our environmental management has mirrored the successful strategies implemented with our Epic Buzz and Red Banana Pudding strains. Daytime conditions are meticulously controlled, with the Tent-X system maintaining VPD within the ideal range for healthy plant activity. However, as we've noted with our other strains, our nighttime VPD control presents a challenge. The data indicate a discrepancy in maintaining optimal humidity levels when the lights are off, suggesting that our current setup is not fully regulating the environment during these crucial hours. The intention to integrate the Smart Mars Hydro fan into the Tent-X system is a move towards rectifying this issue, with the aim to achieve a seamless 24-hour environmental control. The transition to this enhanced system will ensure that our Watermelon Candy plants receive the same level of consistent care throughout their entire growth cycle. Their current robust state and the proactive steps we are taking to fine-tune their environment have set a strong foundation for the weeks to come.
