🗓️ Week 9 complete – 5th week of flowering This week was all about keeping an eye on the drain EC values – and compared to the others, Seriotica handled it much more smoothly. 🔹 Seriotica Last watering: ~1.0 EC in → Drain 1.51 → 1.67 EC She reacts a bit more sensitively than the MACs, but overall still looks healthy and balanced. Adjustment: → Slightly increase base nutrients to ~1.2–1.3 EC → Keep supplements at 30–40% of the schedule 🎯 Goal: Stable drain around 1.6–1.7 She’s taking in nutrients cleanly, without major salt buildup – definitely on the right track 🌱 And the best part: Trichomes are ramping up week by week – things are getting frosty ❄️🌸

Hey now, so week 2 is in the books, she is growing slow but steady, I will transplant her to an airpot on Monday, top her on Friday, then again the following week. Weather and conditions are perfect for seedlings, warm and humid. First time running anything from the ladies at Tastebudz in the UK, but so far so good. I am still feeding just plain H2O in Pro Mix Seedling Starter blend, but will be transplanting to a mixture of 65/35 Coco Coir/Perlite here in the next few days and will begin fertigation at that time. This is the last week of vegetative growth. The plant is growing very strong, forming strong branches and big fan leaves. Continued LST on the main stem and some other major branches. Growth is now penetrating the canopy and is being tucked under the net to fill it up. Pruned a few stems and leaves from below the canopy which may never see the light of day. Pale leaf tips/edges may be due to light stress, so maintained the light distance whilst tucking branches under the net as they shoot through. Tracking run-off volume/EC/pH at every fertigation event as I manage the feed EC to monitor what the plant is doing/feeding. Fertigation is maintained at twice a day (at lights on and 4hrs prior to lights off period) to maintain the target EC. I started germination of 1 Gorilla Zkittlez bean on 29/12/2020. I pre moistened my rockwool cubes with ph balanced water to 6.4. Made sure the plug was just damp and not soaked. Using a small wooden dowel I increased the size of the plugs pre made hole. Than I sowed my bean into the hole. Ripped off a small piece of rockwool and mulched it up. Lightly filled the hole in with the mulched rockwool. Than stuck the plug into a misted humidity dome, to complete germination. Shouldn't take anymore than 4-5 days to see a sprout. Once I see some cotlydon leaves bursting to the surface. I will get the plug planted into some 1 gallon pots. Plus get this lady situated into her home. Cant wait! Some Background information on my experience with Gorilla Zkittlez. I've grown this variety out twice so far. Once in a 15 gallon container which became a super branchy beast. That yielded a large amount and filled up it's own 4x4 tent with a little training. The second and most recent time was in a 1 gallon SOG grow. She also flourished in a fast flip SOG grow banging off a fat head frosty main cola, with a few satellite buds. Very adaptive strain and seems to flourish in any environment and any size space. Looking forward too my 3rd adventure with Barneys farms masterpiece.
