Week 7 of Veg for these beautiful Apple Betty ladies! It was a stressful week for the girls but they made it❤️ Day 44 - I decided the girls had outgrown their 2 gallon nursery pots and were ready to move on. After a quick cleanup of the stems close to the base, they were ready to go. I like to keep my soil in a Rubbermaid bin, either with a fan lightly blowing, or the exhaust line from my tent blowing at it. Since I started doing this, I have not had any gnats or pests in my grows, of course with regular cleanings and IPM…my mix is Promix HP with about 20% worm castings added to it. This time around, I decided to use some Dynomyco to increase the mycorrhiza count of my Promix HP. This will increase root development by adding all kinds of interconnected webbing and allow for better uptake of nutrients overall. Within an hour or so all of the ladies were transplanted ❤️ x2 in 7 gallon fabric pots, and 1 in a 5 gallon fabric pot ( the 5 gallon will finish in my 2x4 tent) Once the girls bounce back and take hold of their new forever pot, I will be setting up my custom “floating” SCROG net and allowing them some time to get bent and tucked all nice snug before I flip to a flower schedule. Week 8 Flower The last week of flush for these two. They were taken down on Day 56, after a 16 Day flush. I think Twin2 could have finished at 7 weeks, but of course I hadn't planned for this, or I would have flushed sooner. So she was taken to the originally planned 8 weeks. Twin2 has also foxtailed quite a bit, from only slightly higher temps and also because she's having a last attempt at catching any pollen in order to reproduce. Although the pots were slightly damp still when I harvested, it is best to take them down when they're dry. The only reason I didn't, was because I knew I'd be too busy the next day, and there were plants in veg that were desperate to be thrown into the flower tent! The pics do make them look wetter than they were though. Their fan leaves were taken off and they were each hung in seperate boxes, where they'll dry as slowly as possible for between 6-10 days. I dont suffer with very high humidity, so I'm able to do this without any issues. When I feel it is too humid, I simply burp the box for the first day or 2 once a day. The slower the dry the better the buds will taste/smell. Once she's dry enough she'll be trimmed and jarred for curing. It's going to be a pretty tough one for keeper pheno! They both have similar but very different smells. By that I mean, they both smell very floral and sweet, but T2 smells extra sweet (although definitely not as dense). That doesn't mean T1 doesn't smell just as nice. Hers buds are thicker and more dense, so even though I've favourited T2 in the pics, I think I'm leaning towards T1 still. But in all honesty it's still down to dry weight and the taste test! This can all be looked forward to in the harvest update! It's been a seriously fun diary with these two twins. Hello everybody! Here we are a week later and I’m starting to see some nice improvements and developments. This week I fed all plants pretty heavily with Recharge and Dolomite Lime (and a little Cal Mag). The plants seemed to like it, the color is really coming back to a nice shade of green instead of the pale yellow’ish green. The FastBuds Blackberry is a beautiful shade of purple. I’m going back to my normal nutrient routine for one more week then I'll flush for a week before cutting her down. The 2 Blackberry's I cut down last week were kind of scrawny, but I did smoke one of the main cola buds and it was tastier than I expected, very fruity. It also got me HIGH AF!! I'm looking forward to how this last one finishes up. One negative is I seem to have inherited some bugs from my wife. She asked me to put one of her outdoor plants in the room so it would survive the winter, well it looks like that plant was infested with bugs. The little f’ers had a feast on some of the leaves. My wife gave me the OK to toss the plant, so with the plant removed it should be fairly easy to irradiate any remaining bugs with some sticky paper. I’d like to say thank you to all who answered my question regarding recommend reading on cannabis. I’m selecting the answer for the Grow Bible by Greg Green because I was actually unaware of that one. I’m familiar with the Cervantes and Rosenthal versions but not Greg Greens. I’ll be ordering that book after I receive and finish “True Living Organics” by The Rev (should be here tomorrow). This week I have a new question for my GD friends…. CO2? I have not been using CO2 but EVERY book I read recommends using it, I’m not prepared to go out and buy a CO2 tank, regulator, etc… at this time. Has anyone ever used one of those CO2 bags? Or do you have any DIY CO2 solutions you can recommend? I’m looking forward to your answers on CO2. I’ll leave you this week with another interesting excerpt from “Marijuana Cultivation Reconsidered: The Science and Techniques For Huge Indoor Yields” by Read Spear: “I prefer to use high-pressure sodium lamps. With the exception of LED's, HPS lamps are the most efficient source of light you can buy, both in terms of light output and light spectrum. Having read nearly every book on the subject of growing pot, I feel that their authors tend to overemphasize the importance of light spectrum. You do not need to alternate between metal halides (for growth) and sodiums (for flowering). That is an oversimplification of the plant's light requirements. You may do this if you like--it certainly won't hurt--but I firmly believe that the gains are just not great enough to justify the cost of the extra MH lamp.” -Read Spear

Strain super super super fantastic !!! I was really struck by everything that is what these powerful super beans have. Started the flush. February 29. the colors are coming out so beautifully. couldnt be happier. 2x2.5 is completely filled. seems like very dense colorful nugs so far

Starting to flower this week, Dropped my lights closer to canopy and started giving full strength nutes + big bud and bud candy from here out :)

it's amazing, this growth looks much better than my first attempt, my decision was to put a smaller pot and change the light - the girl really liked it, FastBuds goriilla cookies with a small space manage perfectly:).

Just in 1.5 day roots went really big 😁 I wasn’t watering plant since 17.02.25 So it still drink drenaje. Don’t know is that really good. Haven’t check what it shows. Next time will do it. But I think I can damage plant if won’t give oxygen in water. Help please
