I'm going to defoliate every other branch completely to the top to see how those differ from the ones that I leave more or less alone from this point forward. She is taking on a lot of water, every other day is a must.for? 4/6 - she got fed yesterday and needed more water today, she's showing a tiny bit of nutrient burn so I will be keeping it easy for a bit, I also chopped a lot of foliage out. Only the tops left and preflowers showing everywhere 4/8 - thirsty lady 4/9 - more water! Added cal/Mag, 6.2ph now, she's got something going on

10/16/18- 1 gallon with Y YUCCA/fresh aloe/amminonthrive/urb natural

63 days of flower and chopped. Didn't want much amber on this indica. Weight will be determined after dry. Buds are basically dripping in resin and are frosty AH. Pics just don't do it justice.

Saw a weee bit of the hints of nutrient burn on some of the leaves. The other day i tested pH and it rode up to 6.8 to 7.0 so i wanted to run a little extra water through and out the bottoms of the pots for a bit of a flush. I pH'd the water to 6.00 exactly with about 900 ppm mix in each bucket. I ran 5 Liters through each 3 gallon fabric pot and allowed 5 minutes or so for drainage. Then put them back in their saucers and back in the tent. I jammed a bamboo stake down into the roots ripping and tearing roots apart as i go muuahahahahaha! They gonna be chunky fuckers in a few weeks they'll need the support. Next watering, Thursday. Perhaps a 650ppm mix then. I'll check pH tomorrow and the fuckers better be back down where i want them! OR ELSE! lol Seeyaz next week! Growing weed is easy. Only dimwits make it complicated.

8/17 Watered everything but the 50. Found two leaves with sep markings on the pink kish in the 50. Definitely not using old soil again. I'm pretty sure THIS plant contracted it from the soil and not the way the others did with the lawn mower and birdseed hijinx. It's supposed to rain for the first time basically all summer. It's am 80% chance so I HELD OFF ON PLANT DOCTOR AND DID NOT APPLY as I'm supposed to have a clear day after. I'll apply the plant doctor in the morning. I'm hoping this rain will knock down a bunch of those thrips. They seem to be on a small branch on a plant or two. One or two leaves show damage and I'll pick them off. I figure I'll get them after I apply plant doctor. I'll use either citric acid or just my regular bt-k pillar treatment with Castille or liquid soap. That will kill them as well. I'm on really worried about it. I also might just buy a bunch of lady bugs and unleash them once things get further along. EDIT: TOOK A QUICK VIDEO AND A COUPLE PICS. HOPEFULLY WE GET THIS RAIN. IF NOT IM GOING TO TREAT THE THRIPS THAT ARE ON TWO PLANTS NOW. I THINK IM GOING TO GO WITH BT-K FOR NY PILLARS AND HOPE THAT THE DISH SOAP IN THE MIX KILLS THE THRIPS. THANKS. 8/18 We got the rain we were expecting. It was sheet rain for a few hourscand rained during the night. Everything was drenched and it was cold (50°F). I shook off the special kush that's way further in flower. I decided to use the leafblowrr despite the risk of spreading anything. I did it so that it wasn't ever blowing TOWARDS another plant but still. I was hoping it might blast off some thrips that might have survived that torrential rain. We've never had a dry summer like this. I'll moniter things. My water day is tomorrow so I assume that's when the girls will get their plant doctor dose. It's a great time of year for cannabis growers. We get to watch all the hard work we've put in literally pay off. It's very peaceful in the garden. EDIT: Went over at about one to check things out and do some minor defoliation. I checked on the thrip situation and I dont know if I blasted them off with the leafblower or if the rain washed them away bit I doubt it. Ivecmade the decision to treat these little bastards. It's on one plant but it's started to spread to another branch on another plant. I probably just overlooked it but still. Seeing that it rained like he'll and I'm seeing like zero signs of septoria I'm going to treat everything. At least I think I am. I haven't decided what to use. I think I could just use bt and soap and I'd probably be alright. I'd feel better doing that as it's something I'm familiar with. Outdoor growing. It's always something. 8/19 In the 40's last night. Hopefully that will help with the thrips. I was hurried and since today tops at 72° I only watered the 10th planet big mk ultra and the chem dog with preventative plant doctor. I'm not seeing hardly any septoria and if I do itsca random leaf. I mixed up 3tsp of citric acid and some Dawn in a 2 quart hand sprayer and treated the 10th planet that I thought had heat stress and the Pink kush in the ten gal that has the damage. I also treated a branch on my good tenth planet. It was the only branch with markings so I think I've got it early enough. I'm just wondering the best way to tackle this. The pink kush I'm sure, could handle spinosad. That strain is much later flowering. I'll see how the citriccacid works and go from there. If the other girls need water they'll get it when I get home alongcwith plant doctor. I've got some work to do. I'll keep this updated. Opinions are always welcome.

The purple kush has been the smallest seedling from the start. It has finally started to actually grow for like 2 weeks or so it looked exactly the same but it’s on its way This past week was smooth sailing I topped all the plants

Some weeks ago I told that the smell went too strong at home, but it lowered to normal levels last week, now she's smelling more and more each day again ;). I can say about Alice.K, that I had 0 problems or weird things along the current 9 weeks, she suffered very high temperatures, some insects, and also i'm going hard with nutes, I'm cycling EC reaching 2 sometimes, and she didn't show any excess signs at time, I'm not telling that they're not going to exist on Alice, but not at time, if i see some, i will stop and re-adjust. A partir del cuarto día a empezado a crecer a gran velocidad, de momento más de 1 cm al día. De verdad que se ve maravillosa, está engordando bien las ramas y definiendo su partes muy bien. Hace algunas semanas comenté que ya estaba apestando toda mi casa y aún estaba en crecimiento. El olor fue disminuyendo hasta niveles normales y esta semana de nuevo está volviendo a incrementar su olor día a día. De momento debo remarcar que en 9 semanas de cultivo que van, la Alice.k me ha dado 0 problemas o cosas raras. Ha sufrido de altas temperaturas, algunos insectos y he empezado a ir fuerte con los nutrientes. Estoy ciclando la EC en los riegos, sobrepasando los 2 en algunos casos, de momento no ha mostrado ningún signo de exceso. Con esto no quiero decir que no los vaya a mostrar si sigo así, pero de momento no lo ha hecho, si en algún momento empiezo a ver signos, ya frenaré y reajustaré. También es un planta fuerte y con capacidad de recuperación rápida, eso se puede observar en los vídeos perfectamente. 15 Apr - Lights off. 48hs of darkness before harvesting

Growing some seeds I won from Diary of the Month here on Grow Diaries!!! I'm so grateful and excited for another learning experience doing what I love! Thank you, FastBuds! 🙏 Seed was germinated directly in Rapid Rooter placed in a seedling tray. I put her in darkness for 48 hours and then in a sunny window. Three days later, the seedling's little head poked up and the next day she showed me her first true leaves - calling this day 1. I kept the seedling tray in a sunny window and brought her outside for lunch on my sunny deck with me for the rest of the week. Given the heatwave we were having here, I got her settled into her net basket sooner rather than later so that she could have a more stable environment. This plant will is being grown indoors in an 2x4x8 Gorilla Grow Tent using an 8 gallon Current Culture Solo Bucket under California Lightworks 550 Solar System LED. For grow media I am using clay pellets and I use the entire Cultured Solutions line of nutrients. I will be showcasing this plant in a grow tutorial over on my YouTube channel and IGTV where I am going to show a detailed walk through of how I grew my original "Budzilla" plant. Unfortunately, I don't have a grow diary for her, but she is featured on my IG account. The technique I use I created after harvesting my first grow. I had used low stress training on an autoflower and achieved beautiful results. I took notes the entire grow and conducted a postmortem. I sincerely advise doing this for EVERY grow - especially when you are learning. It provides you opportunity to figure out what went right, what went wrong, what could have gone better, and what ideas you think you can toss into the mix to try to improve on the places that need revamping. I did this and I came up with the hypothesis of starting my plant off-center in the net basket, and then growing it low and in a spiral around the outside. In my head, I thought something like this could really push the limits of low stress training, especially when used on an autoflower where we have a limited time of vegetative growth. I didn't realize, at the time, JUST how effective the technique would be, but when the grower community on IG exploded over the sight of my plant, I started to get a feeling a did something right. As I was still only growing my second plant in my entire grow career, I was completely oblivious to the fact that I had pushed the normal boundaries of an autoflower.... I had nothing else to really compare it to. Nearly a year later, photos of my Budzilla are still being shared around social media in the grow community and I still get asked regularly about how I grew her. And with that, we start here on the journey to attempt the recreation of my former masterpiece. But I'm taking it one step further and giving you a detailed, step-by-step guide so that even the newest of growers can follow along and learn how to push an autoflower to its beautiful edge.
