Super Silver Haze (Zamnesia Seeds) – Flower Week 5 ⸻ 🌿 Quick Recap – From Seed to Week 5 Flower • Week 1 Flower: Fast transition—pistils everywhere, healthy roots, compact growth. • Week 2 Flower: Morphology shift in full swing; feeding adjusted with Top Booster and Plagron trio (Power Buds, Sugar Royal, Green Sensation). • Week 3 Flower: Light defoliation to open structure. Plants ~120 cm, hybrid leaf traits, strong root activity. • Week 4 Flower: Bud stacking accelerated, pistils thickening, recipe simplified (soil NPK carrying, boosters fine-tuning). • Week 5 Flower (current): Buds swelling, pistils everywhere, resin heads sparkling. Slight leaf spotting observed—likely Ca/Mg imbalance. Adjusted by reintroducing Aptus All-In-One Liquid for a nutrient push and better balance. ⸻ 🌱 Plant Development Both phenos continue to mirror each other, tight internodes, balanced structure, and lush hybrid leaves. The buds are swelling rapidly, calyxes stacking beautifully, and pistils are thick and lively. The resin layer is already visible, giving a frosty shimmer that promises density and potency in the weeks ahead. A few spots appeared on lower and mid leaves—most likely a calcium/magnesium issue. To counter, we increased nutritional support by bringing Aptus All-In-One Liquid back into the mix, ensuring a complete and balanced NPK profile while keeping boosters steady. ⸻ 💧 Feeding & Nutrition (Week 5) • Aptus Regulator – micronutrient transport, cell wall integrity • Aptus CalMag Boost – raising Ca/Mg levels to address leaf spotting • Aptus All-In-One Liquid – full-spectrum NPK support reintroduced this week • Plagron Power Buds, Sugar Royal, Green Sensation – continuing to enhance flower development, aroma, and resin formation Soil still provides a strong nutritional backbone, but this week’s adjustments help stabilize the balance and support heavy bud development. ⸻ 🌡️ Environmental Conditions • Day Temp: ~29–30°C • Night Temp: ~25°C • Humidity: ~65% • VPD: ~1.3–1.4 kPa • CO₂: ~700 ppm • Watering: ~1.5–2L per plant/day, at ~20% soil dryness • Soil EC: ~2.0 • Light Intensity: 760–780 PPFD across canopy AC installation is still pending, so temps are slightly higher than ideal, but plants remain vigorous and unstressed. ⸻ ✨ Special Focus: Trichomes – Nature’s Treasure Houses At Week 5, trichomes are beginning to form in visible density, and this is a great moment to explore what they are and why they matter. 🔬 What Are Trichomes? Trichomes are microscopic, glandular outgrowths on cannabis flowers and leaves. They are resin factories—producing cannabinoids (THC, CBD, CBG, etc.), terpenes (aromatic oils), and flavonoids (pigments and antioxidants). 🌸 Cannabinoids • THC (Tetrahydrocannabinol): Primary psychoactive compound; euphoric, creative, uplifting. • CBD (Cannabidiol): Non-psychoactive, soothing, anti-inflammatory, balancing. • Others: CBG, CBC, THCV—each contributing unique effects and therapeutic potential. 🌺 Terpenes Aromatic molecules giving cannabis its smell and flavor profile. Examples: • Myrcene: Earthy, musky, sedative qualities • Limonene: Citrus, uplifting, mood-enhancing • Pinene: Piney, sharp, potentially focus-enhancing These terpenes modulate the effects of cannabinoids in the entourage effect. 🎨 Flavonoids Less talked about, but flavonoids contribute to color, taste, and antioxidant activity. They can influence the final bouquet and even the therapeutic properties of the plant. 🌌 Why They Matter Now At Week 5, trichomes are initiating en masse, but they are still clear and immature. As the weeks progress, they’ll cloud, then amber, signaling ripeness. Monitoring trichomes with a loupe is the most reliable way to judge harvest time, not just pistils. ⸻ 🎛️ Gear & Setup • Lighting: Future of Grow Black Series 600W, ThinkGrow ICL-300 LEDs, and Lumatek Zeus Compact Pro 465W—all synced under TrolMaster for environmental control. • Airflow: Dual 6” extraction with carbon filters (TrolMaster Aerofan + Spider Farmer), controlled separately for redundancy. • Monitoring: TrolMaster Tent-X + WCS substrate sensor—tracking EC, moisture, and real-time root zone conditions. ⸻ 🌿 Outlook The girls are in their prime flowering momentum. With nutrients adjusted and trichomes stacking, the coming weeks should bring bulk, aroma, and resin explosion. This is where the legendary Super Silver Haze genetics (Skunk x Northern Lights x Haze) begin to show their pedigree—old-school power, modern stability. 11/16: A few of them are in a bigger hurry than the others, and that's just fine by me....very tired of buying weed to smoke.. I fed them again today with about 1/2 gallon each and put a couple of 24w 3000k bar lights under the canopy to increase light to the lower branches. I also took some photos and a video. 11/17: A few of them are protesting about their proximity to the lights, so I raised them as high as possible, which was only another 4 inches. Hopefully that's enough! 11/18: I checked their moisture levels and rotated the edge plants. 11/19: I watered them today with about 1/2 gallon including bembe, signal, cal-mag, myco, and started them on cha ching. At least one of them will get flushed for the first time at their next feeding. Already fading... 11/20: I rotated some edge plants and started decreasing humidity in the closet. I set the AC Infinity to come on whenever it gets up to 45% RH., plus the new dehumidifier I ordered will be here tomorrow. 11/21: I fed them today with about a half-gallon each. I started cutting back on everything except cal-mag, bembe, signal, and cha ching.

(12/21) Flowering continues to go well. Removed leaves from the bottom as well as some branches that aren’t going to reach the light. Switched to flowering fertilizers. Need to raise the temperature a little bit but will do that soon.

This is my second growth in a suitcase, I got 30 grams of dry flowers from the first growth, but this growth together with FastBuds is obviously much better than the first one :) although the girl's leaves burn from the light, which is only 10-15 cm from the flowers, but the girl copes with it perfectly :) good luck to everyone.

She is much prettier than she was a week ago :) I remembered that I have my first grow light, which is more compact and it will give me more space, so I changed my light, now the girl's side branches get light too:) I add a lot of video memes, because I really want to win Iphone16 pro ;) and those who don't take risks don't drink champagne:) good luck to everyone.

The first experiment I decided to do on the mother plant is a two-tiered pot. I cut the Cup and put it in a plastic plastic canister, wrapped with tape the upper tier of the pot, so that the light does not interfere with the roots, but the lower tier I left open, to nablidat for the development of the root system and show you. I also cut the four lower large vegetative leaves so that they do not interfere with the access of light to the side branches. Now the plant is 2 weeks old, it has been living in a new house for 3 days and has already adapted and taken new roots.

Week 3 is here and all is going well. The girls look good, but 2 are bushier and bigger than the other two. Still on straight water this week, and slowing adding more time to the water pump and keeping an eye on things. I did my first clipping this week, and since then, they have bunched up in the middle a bit. I am going to do some lst this week, and continue to keep them growing. I am also going to be adding nutes this coming week so hopefully they really start to flourish. On the time lapse, there seems to be less up and down with the leaves and now it seems more consistent. Hopefully this is a good sign on the watering schedule. Well see how it looks next week. Thanks for checking out my grow and see you all next week.

This week they’re starting to drink a bit more. I missed the last watering by a day. Drought resistance is amazing with these but a couple of them yellowed. A couple are getting getting calcium spots, already adjusted ph to see if that would help so fingers crossed. But some very strong genetics for sure. Happy with results so far, they all smell fantastic

I recently just realized that my experiment was successful, before fill these buckets with my grow medium I drilled less holes than all the other plants buckets… turns out the fewer holes the the medium becomes swampy, however my gorilla is doing great, she flowering with grace.

Grown outdoors no nutrients just tap water (about 1Gal/day) on the days with no rain... usually around noon when I can see them sag and the weather forecast doesn't predict rain for the rest of the day. I add Terpinator (30mL/Gal) when I water manually. •This week, since they're in full bloom and the weather cooperates (plants are outside and shouldn't rain for at least the next 24h) I will give them a dose of SuperThrive... 2020 was an exceptionally warm summer in Quebec. Seeded on May 20th Sprouted on May 23rd Kept in nursery (watered with tap water + B1 vitamin (3ml/L) until Transplanted outside June 16th Bloomed August 19th @ 6' tall No Technique applied, she grows as she feels the needs.
