The girls are starting to wrap up their cycle. I have been watching the trichomes closely, and we are getting very close..Trying to pick the best day for both of the strains I have going at the moment, the Apple Betty are a little closer than the cookies, but they are very similar in readiness… I’ll be checking daily, I did get a wireless microscope for Christmas so it has become much easier to tell👨‍🔬 I’ve got mostly cloudy, with a few clear, but I am waiting for a bit more amber to give them the couch lock that I like when I smoke. A lot has happened this week. After I watered the nettle manure, some of the leaves turned a little yellow. There seems to have been enough nitrogen left in the soil, so this week there was only pure water. Unfortunately, my supply of rainwater is pretty empty, so I topped up the tank with tap water. After I noticed that the roots were already coming out of the drainage holes, I thought it was time for another repotting. As you can see, the roots have spread well. This time the plant will be planted in the 55-litre end pot. I'm using a fabric pot from the brand Gronest. The soil is the same as for the first repotting. Here is the nutrient profile again. Floragard TKS 2 N 210 mg/L - P 240 mg/L - K 270 mg/L - Mg 70 mg/L - S 150mg/L After repotting, I defoliated the plant a little and attached plant hooks. I have looked for inspiration on the Internet and am trying to build up a good basic structure. As the pot size has changed, the watering quantity also had to be increased. I tried 8 litres this time every 2 to 3 days and nothing leaked out at the bottom. The weather was better again this week. The daytime temperatures fluctuate between 17 and 22 degrees. I'm happy with the weather so far, but it could still get a bit warmer. Especially at night.

July 26: Mimosa Shot has mostly caught up to the other plant in the wagon and they are now the same height. Did a fourth lazy compost tea. See video explaining how I make it using things like blackstrap molasses and Epsom salts both of which are cheap and easy to find at the grocery store. July 29: nice and sunny today. Plants look great. July 31: defoliated inner fan leaves and small lower buds. This ‘lollipopping’ saves the plant from wasting effort on small buds that aren’t going to amount to anything. Also improves air flow and maximizes sunlight on the remaining buds. Added a round of Gaia Green seaweed extract when watering (label says once every two weeks). Aug 1: Plant is showing red petioles and there is a blue-ish tint to the leaves both of which are signs of P deficiency. Added another round of 50/50 malted barley and Power Bloom as top dressing.

Everything looks really great. Flower has reallt taken hold here at the end of week 5. Ive started my flower hardener (mendocino avalanche) and they really have perked up. Im getting much slower dry out than i woukd like, next time more perlite in my bottom layer for sure. These larger pots (7.5 gallon) really take some dialing in but the plants love them for sure. I habe 6 inches of roots coming out of the bottom of all of them. Ill try to get a picture.

Growing the 3gal naturally with a small amount of lst. The 5gal was topped, and the 7gal has more intense lst done. Minor defoliation needed for these ones. All top dressed this week: 3gal 1tbs of 4-4-4 and 2tbs of 2-8-4, 5gal 2tbs of 4-4-4 and 3tbs of 2-8-4, 7gal 3tbs of 4-4-4 and 3tbs of 2-8-4. Watering when dry.

Very easy-to-grow plants that aren't causing any problems at all. However, there are two different phenotypes in structure, and the four plants smell very different from each other (the tallest one smells like melon, and one of the shorter ones smells very citrusy).

18/02: The plants sugar leaves are starting to turn yellow being a good sign they are nearly done. Added more cable ties as again the colas are getting too heavy for the actual stalks. Should be a good harvest. Few more days on the nutes then to flush.

Won't be a big harvest from this girl, although the buds are fattening up nicely. Will stop adding PK in the next few days before getting ready to flush in the next couple of weeks. This plant is on the left of the timelapse video.

I'm waiting for it to switch to a flower, then I start fertilizing the flower. For this flower I will start fertilizing in the second week.

Day 62. Realized my hose water was sitting at ph of 8.5 or higher. Which the ladies really didn’t like. Got that dialed in. Jesus this water issue with the new home has been a bitch. Glad she is bulking and looking wonderful. The smell is off the chart.
