Lovely start and lovely end to week 1

Hey there, Just a small update. Day 11 of veg phase. Plants developing pretty good. Will send the ladys into flower tomorrow. 🌻 Keep on keeping on. 😎

8/23 Fed 2 gallons of nutes to the garden. I'm planning to increase feeding to three gallons as plants look hungry. Ice cream cake isn't as vibrant as it once was. Still losing leaves but I find that is consistent with others in my area according to the local growers page. The hurricane missed us but the rain and humidity are still a problem. It's not raining (plants were soaked so it rained last night) and rh is still 100%. It's outdoor so what can I do? What I NEED to do is spray BT and something to combat PM. Plants are flowering nicely. It's good to actually have some flowers to look at. The smell is great too. 8/24 Didn't water as it rained last night. Defoliated what was dead. Fog was so thick you could cut it with a knife. Everything is in flower. The little ice cream cake flowers don't look like they like this rain. I don't blame them. I don't remember the last time it didn't rain at night. I noticed more damage on plants or maybe old damage. Either way bud shoots are gone on a few lower limbs. I can't pull up my bags as the are firmly rooted. I checked under the five gallon buckets (which were also somehow firmly rooted) and found a shit ton of earwigs underneath. I killed what I could. I tried spraying a bug with dawn but it didn't kill it or at least didn't kill it right off. I stomped on them and tore open the earth. Logic dictates they are probably under the grow bags as well. I'm going to try Spinosid tonight. I'll look up some other methods as well. If anybody has advice please hit me up. UPDATE: Went back down at 6. Super sunny and humid today. Temp was 92 with humidity about 90%. I couldn't spray. I'll have to wait until tomorrow. Found four more moth leaves on the sick isolated plant. They must like the injured ones better. 8/25 Watered and defoliated what needed it. Buds are growing rapidly. Took pictures but have been unable to upload due to slow internet connection. Hopefully the weather will allow me to spray tonight. 8/26 Watered heavy as it's been in the 90s. Couldn't spray as it was to hot last night. Buds are tightening up. Ran out of LCPT so I need to find an alternative. Now that plants are flowering it's easier to see the damage from the earwigs. No buds where they should have been on some low branches. Not many and hopefully the few that got lollipoped will focus growth on the top. I hope I'm able to make it down late tonight to work. I was worried about my plants flowering late but that might be a blessing in disguise. I've seen lots of people losing plants to bud rot. Thanks for stopping by and please leave any thoughts or advice in the comments. 8/27 UPPED MY FEEDING REGIMEN TO THREE GALLONS AND USED TWO TBSP TIGER BLOOM IN PLACE OF KOOL BLOOM AND USED A WHOLE TBSP KELP FOR THE HEAT. This heat is killing me. Yesterday was over 95f with rh in the 90s. My medication makes the heat harder to bare. Defoliated what needed it. I'm in town looking for a fungicide. Planned to use apple cider vinegar this morning but of course I couldn't find it. Buds still rapidly forming. I'll update later. I picked up potassium bicarbonate and citric acid and have the recipe and ingredients for both diy green cleaner and green cure. Once the sun starts going down I'm going to use the potassium bicarbonate recipe. Bought a bunch of potassium bicarbonate and citric acid. I am now able to make diy versions of both green and green cleaner. I mixed 1tbsp potassium bicarbonate with 1/4 teaspoon dawn and sprayed two gallons on the plants last night. Leaves were yellowing more and traveling upward on the blueberry. Bleeding like nitrogen deficiency. I'll monitor. If plants don't improve I'll need to do a flush and an application of Spinosid. Wanted to take pics but the phone died. 8/28 Thoroughly watered today. I also had to defoliate a ton of yellow leaves on my blueberry's. I'm hoping it's not nutrient lockout. I still have three issues that could be my problem 1) the WPM 2) PISSIBLY ph fluctuation or worse w lockout and 3) earwig or inch 🐛/ moth larvae causing damage. I'm coming out of my funk so hopefully I can fix these issues. Smell is amazing and the buds are really starting to develop. They looked bigger in the evening than they did in the morning. It was over 90° f yesterday and I woke up to 50 this morning. I'm sure these big temp swings don't help much. 8/30 Rained last night but I watered slightly as there wasn't much rain. ADDED TWO MORE I.R. CAMERA'S last night. I feel more secure as the area is also protected with motion sensors and a whole bunch of other stuff I'm not going to mention. Anything bigger than a porcupine and things get bright and loud and signals get sent, roads blocked ECT. Not my first rodeo deep in the Maine woods. The grow will not be left alone and hadn't been for a few weeks. Anyway I lifted a 5 gallon bucket and found more earwigs. It jives with some of the damage I've been seeing. I'm thinking of spraying spinosid instead of BT tonight. At least the buds are starting to fill in. They don't seem to bother those as much. They did bite off a bunch of grow shoots though. Either way I have a few issues to deal with. As long as the weather stays alright until October I should be fine. My ice cream cake is barely flowering and it's HUGE. I have another seed that's in a similar state. Others are further along. We shall see how things go. The little ones could be transported inside at night if necessary.

Still don't know what caused issue of first two attempts, bought pH +- and Ecothrive bacteria, just 4 months ago I gave everything away , even sent light to Germany recently .... now 15£ spent again .... :)))) that b$tch has to bring 10g or its a bust ;)))))))) Happy Growing !

Week 5 flower going well. Nothing much to report. Increased the drip as she is taking in more water. Turned up the fans to 100% for maximum flow, and due to that, the tent got a bit warmer and a bit dryer so the exhaust fan and humidifier are working a bit harder. 75-77 deg F, 50-60% RH. Not sure if the lights are to intense or if it’s purple coming through, but at the highest tops there seems to be a bit of discolouration on the newest growth, just at the tips of the new buds. But I’m looking really close and it may be purple, not brown. I’ll keep an eye on it and turn the lights down if symptoms worsen. This plant is growing strong and getting chunky. Hopefully she keeps growing well until the end. Thanks for the views…keep calm and grow on!

Hello everyone 😊😊😊 This week bring the problems with humidity, I started to add to much steam and some small scorching and discoloration occur. However I remove humidifier and everything back to normal. Girls grow up like nothing happened, tomorrow I will proceed small defoliation like I'm doing it in every grow. Very slow growing this week (even thought it was a long one as I was counting days wrong) but i think its entered flowering. Its definitely stretched a whole lot. Side branching is pretty nice on both plants so hopefully it'll be a decent yield considering the pot size. Gonna stick with 10 litre pots now. Adding in more bloom nutes seems to have helped clear up the spots so i'm grateful for that. Gonna keep feed at this level until the biobizz runs out in a week or two. Heat is still an issue as you can see from the leaves taking on the classic taco shape. I still have a small 4 inch inline fan that im not using, would that be better for temps than passive intake? But still, good progress considering it's pushed 40c a couple of times.

First off Thanks to @SuperSativaSeedClub Johnny, for my competition winning seeds, this is one of them 🏆 💚 Along with others I will be starting next week. Strain: California Orange from Dutch Passion. Description: Californian Orange has a citrus-dominant aroma with notes of orange, mandarin, lemon and earth Californian Orange, the name says it all, California oranges. This cannabis strain has a lot of citrus terpenes and the proportion of myrcene and limonene in this strain is high compared to other strains. And with that, let's get into it 🚀 🌱 💚 Day 1: 27/09 Saturday I have made a 2L dechlorinated tap water mix which contains 1ml of Piranha and 1ml of Voodoo Juice. (This will be used all week) 100ml into a cup and allow the seed to soak for 24-36 hrs. And left inside the boiler cupboard , dark and warm. I'll check tomorrow ✅ (With 300ml I have watered in the plastic pots to ensure there not too wet in a few days for my seed. Day 2: 28/09 Sunday The seed has sank after just 12 hrs, so after 16 hrs, I poured it all into a paper towel. Squeezed excess water from the paper towel. Placed into a zip-loc bag for 24-36hrs, until the tap root emerges. I have now pre soaked the root-riot plugs (with 150ml of previous water mix) and squeezed gently any excess water - these are now placed in the 1L plastic pots, awaiting the newly germinated seed. Day 4 30/09 worried the seeds are too moist as tap roots have popped but curling back. I have popped them into the rootriot cubes now and inserted that into my 1L tub with Dynomyco in the hole. Sprayed -with the water mix from start of week ph6.41, the domes (jugs) and placed under 24hr light CFL 125w for the rest of germination week and possibly week 1 veg we'll see. Day 5 01/10 Wednesday First spray for soil and seed. Using the dechlorinated tap water and piranha and voodoo from the mix at start of week. pH 6.41. Also added heat mat under the tents water proof layer to ensure the seedling are kept warm. Day 6 02/10 Thursday Last use of this spray now , Final spray in domes, noticed seed casings have now fell. Day 7 03/10 Friday Dechlorinated tap water 1L mix with 2ml voodoo and 2 ml piranha. 300ml each. PH 6.36 End of week. Proud too say she has successfully passed germination week and now onto her veg journey that I'm aiming for 10-12week veg for.

Week 6 Flower Blooming Watered in at 800ml Top dressed 2tbs worm castings. Epsom Salt 1tbs to 4l - bought at the local pharmacy.

Week 4 between 30-6 October! I feed it with additives only ones a week ! I transplant it very carefully mid week 3 and it accepted it very well! Now mid week 4 I will top it. I am welcome to any comment about the plant :)

Hey hey my fellow growers, I hope everyone had an excellent week! It is great to be back here at the beginning of week six, let’s get into it! Last week I had misspoke- I said I was going to train 5 of the 6 plants I have going from fastbuds, this was false…. What I meant is all 6… Yes at the time I had only INTENDED on messing with 5 but the last one, the way it was structured with the self top, it was practically BEGGING me to get in there and play with it- and I ask you this- who would I be to deny that little strawberry pie the simple pleasure of a little training? So train I did… Nothing crazy, but actually for all six plants (despite my best efforts, best being debatable) to not go overboard- I have been going in a doing a little bit of training and taking a leaf off here and there if it’s blocking any potential bud sites. I am trying to be really careful and not do too much at once and upset any of them- but at the same time, after stunting them a bit with the taproot incident (which I will keep referring to until I learn from that mistake) I want to do what I can to maximize yield after tripping up a bit in the beginning. We will see how it goes, but for now, everything seems to be doing well and responding well to the bit of training I have been doing. Right now I am seeing a range of sizes among the bunch- the forbidden runtz are both shorter and squatier coming in at about 5.5 inches in height each and I notice everything is spaced a bit tighter on these so I have had some difficulty spreading them out but not to any problematic extent, just in comparison with the rest- Next we have the strawberry pie- the smaller one coming in at 5.5inches, is the one that I was speaking about that had topped itself. It seems to be doing well and handling the training just fine. However the other one, that one is much bigger and is about 8.5 inches tall. It wasn’t until I busted out the ruler that I saw that this was the second biggest plant of the fast buds. That leaves the largest which of course was the gorilla cookies! The smaller of the two is coming in at 8 inches and the larger one coming in at 9.5! They are both tied down and doing great, showing growth each day after being trained and having select leaves removed. We are getting closer and closer to flower I hope to have a bit more time with them but that is totally in their hands, so we will see what happens- the game plan now for me at this point is to keep doing what I’ve been doing- trying to balance on a delicate line. As far as other news… I am doing dishes the other day- I have my phone propped up with YouTube on and dude grows playing (my preferred way to do dishes) I hear the dude mention a giveaway they are doing that I had submitted an entry for recently so my ears had perked up…👀 I saw they had the contest page pulled up and on display and I thought to myself, wouldn’t it be cool if I got to see my picture right now, sure enough- I hear them start talking about my pictures! I in no way won (at this point, my fingers are crossed though haha) and I realize that this is debatably anticlimactic however, I listen to these guys everyday at work so I was stoked! I still am! There are lots of good giveaways going on right now, all the amazing contests going on on this site, Instagram wherever! A honest opinion? I’m sorry that she could’t grow with all the space and light she needed. She’s good, I removed all the lower branches that light could’t reach, but she has not much space. Well, I removed 3 plants from the grow room and now she’s feeling better, but I hope lower branches will stretch up and fatten up a lot more. Peace ✌️
