Plants took a tumble while I was at work and came home to everything laying on the ground like a robbery. I also learned that my plants wasn't burning but in fact when the tree hit the deck the 33C heat and the roof torched the leaves. The vertical growth is slowing as it only grew 2" in the week so far, don't think this indica was ever meant to get huge but I think the pot limited its growth. Just solid knowledge for next year as I wanted all 3 tree to hit around 6ft after the stretch and all the training. Lost a few main branches on this plant so idk how realistic 1.5lbs is at this point t

Flowers are still stretching towards the light. Also starting to look like actual buds now all that work is starting to show. Plant is now very thirsty and drinking about 3l during lighting hours it could probably drink more every morning the pot is so light showing me that it’s drinking all of it over night I like this plant so much I started making more seeds by rooting the cuttings in soil. They will produce seeds as they will also produce pollen! Hopefully I will contain the pollen away from the main plants by keeping the pots under humidity dome

The drying process lasted 14 days and I'm in the 2nd week of curing, I've already tried some buds and neither the smell nor the taste are great, the taste and smell of both phenotypes is lemon.

The new developing growth is green so everything seems to be going well. I’m gonna give it another week and then I’ll defoliate. So far so good. having a little trouble reversing the wrath rock, candy icy cuts. but I’m not worried. I have backups of the mothers and I have backups of those backups so I’ll definitely still be able to take another shot after seeing the results from this grow ….

Hi Gromies, well sometimes I can be my own worst enemy seems I defoliated ( actually I'll blame the apprentice Urban grow cat 😺) He defoliated a little to much, it's hard to get good help these days! Anyway she got a bit of light burn directly under light bulb area. A mix of to much defoliation & I also turned light up to super lumen setting & being lazy I hadn't hooked the extraction fan & ducting up to the light ( it's an air cooled light shade) pump air from outside tent through sealed light shade & exhaust it outside. I hooked that up & raised the light around 20 cm & all is good now, some burnt leaves. She is bouncing back & grown more leaves. It may have slowed Bud development a little! I changed light cycle to 12.5 hours of darkness 11.5 hrs on to try & kick her into gear , fool her into thinking the season is coming to an end with shorter daylight hours. I may increase dark period a little more bit by bit, experiment a little, I've read of other growers who give plants less light around week 6 till harvest. She is getting a faint lemony smell. Lollipoped some of the smaller secondary branches, any tips low down not receiving much light & don't look like they will get much bigger, other than that I'm leaving her alone, probably just try & seperate any close growing colas so we don't get any Bud rot. Finishing the first week of flowering. Unfortunately I'm having issues with lack of nutrients, probably a PH issue. I've bought a PH meter and some PH up and down products but I'm still figuring out how it works. I've removed some leaves as well.

We are an update away from the results. Both control plants chopped by way of spin trimmer. Non defo has the biggest cola, defo plant has the most mains and seems a bit heavier when wet. Results in a week or so Sbg.com

We have lift-off! She has stretched her little heart out this past week. This growth spurt inevitably came with a load of foliage, so I've been defoliating through the week - just a little each day - to keep the airflow nice. She is loving the Bud Explosion. Bud sites are starting to swell up nicely, and the fragrant aroma is getting more and more every day, quite zesty, very citrus. More lemony than orange at the moment, but still early days. The first hint of frost is beginning to set in, and she is looking a very healthy plant, hopefully should get some nice trichome production. This is my first photo-period plant, and in all honesty it's gone a lot smoother than some of the autos I've grown! No deficiencies, no pH or EC issues, no heat stress :) I deliberately gave it a long veg time so it didn't feel rushed, but moving forward I wouldn't want to have 1 plant taking up that much space for that long. SOG might be the way to go, but that's for another day. Current feeding: CalMag: 0.5ml / liter Megacrop: 5.5 grams / gallon Bud Explosion: 1.5 grams / gallon Will be running PK 13/14 for a week, probably starting some point this week when I next need to change the res. pH is currently 6 in the res, rising to 6.1 / 6.2 in the autopot tray. I preferred to remove my net this week, to more easily access my plants and water them. I hope the branches will hold I cut a lot of leaf this week. I hear different opinions that say it's beneficial others not... At least it will have the advantage of lowering the humidity. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- - Water: tap water at 300 PPM, I add 0.7G of Hybrid powder and 0.3g of booster PK+ per liter to reach 950PPM and I adjust the PH to 5.8. I watered daily until water drained from the pot (to release nutrients from previous waterings) and I take a 3-4 day watering break to let it dry out before resuming a daily watering schedule. -Daytime temperature: 22-26°C -Night temperature: 20-24°C -Humidity: 50-75% ( Too high but it's hard to lower it... Yeah this strain finished in 9 weeks just like the guidelines say, tons of golf ball sized nugs. I could have got a better yield if I topped her earlier but I'm really happy with this grow. $20 investment and a quarter pound of weed in return. Outdoor plants really require very little to no maintenance, so if constantly pruning and training isn't something your interested in then go outdoors mate. In terms of how I grew this girl I just used a bit of cal-mag and amended the soil with organic nutrients before flowering. The organic notes saved my ass for flower. The yield may not be as much as many outdoor plant but again my first outdoor grow. I'm happy with the quality over quantity too. Thanks for all for stopping by!
