Week 5 Flower — Sundae Driver
Five weeks from seed, Week 5 of flower. The girls are tall, frosty, and carrying real weight. Supercrop results are showing: the knuckle site on the main top is packing beautifully and producing extra fruit around the bend. Photo sessions continue while they’re still mobile, but they’re quickly approaching the point where moving them will be risky.

From seed to here — short recap
• Very short veg, early flip (11/13) to encourage a quick transition.
• Strong genetics: both phenos established great branching early and then stretched in flower.
• Early training: leaf-tucking and one deliberate supercrop on Pheno #2 to control a “moon-shot” top, the plant has recovered and is producing strong bud sites.
• Feed strategy evolved from light steering (low solution EC) while relying on the active living soil, to a slightly stronger, targeted push now that the plants are bulk-building.

Nutrition this week — what you added and why
You’ve blended the Aptus baseline with the Plagron bloom stack and added the All-in-One Liquid this week to “boost things up a little.” The working recipe (as you’ve been using it) is:
• Plagron Power Buds / Power products — PK and bloom stimulators to push flower initiation and fruit set.
• Plagron Green Sensation — complex bloom stimulator (PK, micros, and biostimulants) to compact and feed flowers.
• Plagron Sugar (Sugar Royal / Sugar Oil) — carbohydrate/amino support to feed microbes, aid terpene/aroma production and increase bud sugar availability.
• Aptus Regulator — stress resistance, cell wall strength, improved uptake.
• Aptus CalMag Boost — to prevent Ca/Mg shortages under heavier uptake.
• Aptus All-in-One Liquid (added this week) — a balanced liquid feed to raise available macros and micros slightly and bring the solution EC up to ~1.78.
Why this mix now: the plants are in active “bulk and stack” mode. The living soil is still providing a heavy base (substrate EC is high at ~5.75), so the water feed is being used as a steering input rather than the sole nutrient source. The Plagron items are targeted to maximize flower growth and aroma development while Aptus products protect tissue integrity and uptake efficiency under higher demand.

Soil & EC notes — some important observations
• Substrate EC 5.75 is high. If the plants are clean (no tip-burn, no slowed uptake, good turgor), and runoff/pH are stable, you can continue carefully. The living soil is likely holding a lot of available ions.
• Solution EC 1.78 is a meaningful step up from the earlier very-low steering feeds. Because the substrate is already rich, keep monitoring plant response closely.
• Actionable checks: measure runoff EC and pH after a couple of normal waterings. If runoff EC is very high and plants start showing nutrient burn/leaf edge bronzing, consider:
• reducing solution EC, and/or
• performing a controlled flush with target pH water to bring substrate salts down, then back to a gentler feed.
• If plants remain clean and uptake is quick, the current regime is probably supporting their needs as they bulk.

Watering & environment (practical reminders)
• Keep using your moisture cues (weight or probe). Don’t overwater — allow the root zone to breathe between feeds so the microbiome stays active.
• Heavy bud development brings higher transpiration and nutrient demand. Expect faster run-to-run uptake.
• Support heavy colas: start planning stakes, soft ties or a light trellis now. Buds are forming weight quickly and the supercropped area can benefit from light support as it fattens.

Supercrop update — why it worked and what you saw
• The deliberate bend on Pheno #2 created the classic healing “knuckle” and redirected auxins to many lateral sites.
• Response: a fast curve-up, faster side-site development, and an especially productive top where the bend is located.
• Recovery timeline you reported: the branch started to re-orient and carry load in just days — this is ideal.
• Keep an eye on the knuckle site for any signs of localized stress or moisture build-up, but good airflow and light will reduce issues.

What to expect next (and what not to expect)
Expect:
• Continued bulking and calyx swelling over the next 1–3 weeks. Flower stacking accelerates as plants move past the stretch.
• Increased trichome production and stronger terpenes/aroma as sugars and PK feed the resin pathway.
• Faster water uptake and higher potassium/magnesium demand under heavy LEDs.
• Need for physical support as colas get heavy.
Don’t expect (yet):
• Final resin peak or full density — that usually shows from mid to late flower (weeks 6–9+ depending on strain).
• Large changes overnight — bud density and terpene maturation are gradual.
• No problems automatically — a high substrate EC means vigilance; problems show first in lower leaves.

Practical tips & checklist for Week 6 planning
• Measure runoff EC & pH. Log changes. If runoff EC substrate EC and plant symptoms appear, step in with a mild flush and a gentler feed after.
• Keep airflow and RH optimized around flowers: small increases in RH can invite mold as buds thicken. Adjust RH downward stepwise if stacking accelerates.
• Maintain CalMag and Regulator levels; they’re supporting strong cell walls and uptake under heat/light stress.
• Prepare support (stakes/trellis) this week so you can gently secure colas when weight increases.
• Continue light, selective defoliation only if it opens important bud sites — avoid heavy stripping now.

Got some Omaha Steaks in mail today so I put a little dry ice in tent to see what happens, temps maybe too low to utilize extra c02 but we will see. Other than that all is well . I have chosen 2 distinctly different phenotype to grow out
#1 is short stocky, fat leaves
more Indica leaning. #3 is more pale green more lanky, thinner leaves more
Sativaish, but definitely some Indica traits as well.
#1 very healthy , #3 a little behind, but in my opinion sativas are slower than indicas, to grow any way. Maybe need different feeding schedule as well we will see.

Was planning to flip on Jan. 1, but I want to clone the Indica leaning one she is showing great growth and structure,and grows twice as fast as her sisters,(maybe a male?) Hope not cause,she is fastest growing plant i can remember growing. Beautiful fat chunky leaves, and great internodal spacing,and a nice lush green leaves.

Dopo il secondo lavaggio fatto a inizio settimana le ragazze sembravano affaticate con le foglie a uncino ma qualche giorno dopo si sono riprese e finalmente le critical kush mi hanno detto Raccolto pronto ,.
Le blu gelato 41 invece sono ancora un po' indietro aspetto una settimana in modo che possa finire di maturare . Il profumo dolce pervade la mia grow room e davvero inebriante e mi fa venire la bava alla bocca 🤤

Trichromes are starting to be produced and buds are starting to form and get sticky, each plant is developing a nice smell but the strawberry is out performing the rest by a mile definitely a vigorous strain that just wants to go go go! Inter node spacing is crazy and looks like the girls are setting up to make some fat buds hopefully

I had one of these seeds left and decided to see how it would do outdoors.
She popped right up and has remained the fastest growing and largest plant in the garden!
7/2:
I moved her outdoors after almost a month under 24/0 and sprayed her with Boom Boom spray.
7/4 - 7/9:
Been dealing with a horde of ravenous grasshoppers all week, but only a little damage on this girl. I sprayed with pyrethrins, Bt-k, Spinosad, pyrethrins, dusted with diatomaceous earth and sevin dust...
She's flowering now, so after a few days of that, I sprayed with microlife maximum blooms.

Empezamos 3ª semana de crecimiento, durante esta semana, podare los bajos y algún nudo. Tras unos días de recuperación pasaremos a floración.
Se empezaron a germinar el día 10/10/23 llevamos 27 días desde que se empezó a germinar.
Hoy día están siendo regadas con 1.5 de ec y 6.0 de ph, usando la gama de abonos orgánicos de boom nutrientes y CALMAG. Uso de sustrato el LIGHT MIX de GBNUTRIENTS.
Son frondosas con grandes hojas, nudos muy corto entre si y además están verdes. Se nota que la luminaria hace su trabajo sin calentarse y por eso la tengo cerca de las plantas evitando que se "espiguen"
**Actualización 08/11** he podado bajos de todas las plantas y alguna hoja grande que tapa las formaciones.
En pasar 2-3 días para que se recuperen, pasamos a floración.

Hi all the happy people here in GrowDiaries.
This is my second cultivation ever and it will be fun to try a bigger space than my closet grow.
First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom.
I put some pictures on the construction here in week one.
The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters.
It provides a floor area of 3.6 square meters.
I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps.
I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable environment in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside.
The air is purified through a carbon filter to then leave the room to the rest of the basement.
Then I use that heat to heat the rest of the basement.
I will use 8 pcs 15 liter Autopots to grow with and a 100 liter water tank that supplies the pots of water and nutrition.
I will grow completely organically in soil and will watercure my buds to get the best possible medicine for me.
But there are no cultivation rooms to be displayed here, so I continue with what is most important.
Today I have put my seeds in my moisture dome and hope the seeds have germinated within a few days.
I am very excited to see how the new growroom will work and how this new secret CBD plant from @FAST_BUDS, will turn out.

I'm so glad it worked so well and now it's just hoping they'll start growing and become 2 big healthy girls :)

Update 2017-08-16. I have mixed my own soil today. Its 40% sieved peat harrow H2-H4 0-30 mm, 45% sieved peat harrow H4-H6 0-30 mm. 5% sand and 10% of compost soil. And i use 15% of perlite and mix it all together.

Hello to you who read my diary, I just want to say that I am pleased that you have chosen to check in with me and in my diary.
I just want to say that I do this for myself and for a steady flow of my medicine.
Everything you read and see in my diary is 100% honest and I will never distort or beautify anything here.
I document my crops so that I can learn from my mistakes and also to look back at those different crops.
I try to update with pictures every day and with text if something special has happened in the garden.

2017-09-07. This is day 21 from sprouting. I have never tested PH in my grows, when growing organic in soil iv learned that it adapt PH by it self. But im curious by nature so i had to test.
Kl 10.00 Tested PH in the soil, it was 6.9 and tested my tap water and it was 6.8. Added video/pics of the girls, its 10 H after defoliation, LST and leaftucking. I think its looking good.

Seedlings stretched a bit had to put them under the light early. Popped 2 seeds initially with 2 freebies I got, unfortunately the freebies didn't germinate in a week so I tossed them and popped two more Dolatos and all four germinated with 100% success rate. Kept them on a 20/4 schedule watering them only once and sprayed the top soil with a mister every now and again. 👍🏿

Wow... She's really entered flowering this week!
I've had to bend over her main cola so is could receive light as opposed to growing above it 😂 😕
Also she's been stretching like crazy. I have backbuilt quite a few bud sites. We will see in the coming weeks how effective this has been.

Absolutely gutted!! Had a very humid past 3 days, wet with no wind... 2 plants have suffered...
Auto Orange Bud has lost a side branch.
Auto critical orange punch has lost her main colar, and 2 sides, the yeild is going be to now be appalling, but this is due to environmental, not the seed or genetics, as far as they go this was one of the strongest and biggest in the group

Had to remove completely, after isolating the rest of the greenhouse, mould persistently grew on her. The remaining plants after 2 days isolation have been moved indoor to finish underground 600w hps and a more controlled environment.

Today she moved into the 4x4 AC Infinity getting prepped to be flipped to 12/12 on New Years Eve. It's right around this point I started considering scrog because the growth is entirely overwhelming for LST after this.
I'm running an S44 Ionboard from AC Infinity at 18" off the canopy at 70%. 850 avg ppfd. 55% rh. My EC is 2 and pH 6. She is drinking roughly 1.5 gallons a day at this point and my EC and pH have held steady. I don't top up with water. I just match ratios and top off daily until about a week before I plan on changing up mixes, then I top off with water until the change.
