I start immediately apologizing for not respecting the week in updating the diary, but with work and looking after the plants I had no time. Now it is the end and I have collected everything. The experiments with ice water went really well and the pollen yield has increased again. The plant is spectacular and I am very proud of my work and what I have achieved. The buds are very compact and smell really exaggerated. This BlackBerry I cleaned it all out of the excess leaves apart from the little sugary ones and left it in whole branches and hung it on a clothesline that I am leaving in a dark room with the values checked at least for the next week so that I can start a new cycle. But the smell is just too much!!!! Great FastBud and sure I'll be making more varieties soon. The monkey has now burrowed on my shoulder and the desire to try this delight is more and more.

Hey there! I’ve only just started using this site and I’m halfway through this grow so I’ll try and fill in the veg and early flower up until this point. This girl really is on auto pilot. She’s just getting bigger everyday with some really good resin production so early I’m really optimistic that this will be a great harvest. 🙌🏼 She’s a really decent size and has responded incredibly well to LST in Veg. The only defoliation I have done up till this point is if bud sites are covered. Any pointers are always greatly appreciated.

Our Zamnesia photoperiod plants have also started their journey into the magical flowering period, this is the first week. So born on September 1st, on October 1st they went into flowering and these are the photos of the first week, when the ladies begin to understand that they have to do their magic. ---- The general environmental conditions are good, the heat has increased a little more but for the first weeks of flowering it is not a big problem, let's remember to never exceed 27 degrees centigrade in the last 4 weeks to avoid compromising the quality of the flowers. If necessary, open the growbox but never let it exceed 27-30 degrees where 30 is already a lot. The positive thing is that as soon as the lights go out the change is already a little visible and as autumn progresses we will also improve. The humidity is fluctuating but we try to control it with two dehumidifiers when necessary, pushing both of them possibly not into the growbox but directly into the room. (I dehumidify the room and the air in the growbox should be dehumidified too) --- We are at a top secret level here so I can tell you that it is called XXXX Test 2 and we really like how they are growing. They were practically identical so I decided to top one and let it grow like a bush keeping some branches underneath but not in main lining style. The other one is growing straight and beautiful as the sun. Very wide internodal distance, wide plant, definitely to be supported soon. --- Fertilization schedule - The fertilizers are always Plagron and I am following the table that I generated on the site depending on the chosen substrate. Create your own card and follow it, never be presumptuous my friend as I have been in the past, follow the card and look at the plants, not all need the same amount of fertilizer. We have come to the time to give a good dose of iron in the first weeks of flowering, already of race life not sprayed but mixed with fertilizers. This was another hot, hot week with a big rainstorm. Take a look at the measuring cup, it is full of rainwater. Dosidos continues to smell and is very sticky. It is a tall with stacked buds. I am interested to see how big the buds will be. Half way through this grow, I had to stop using Miracle Grow and change my grow plan. I decide to use Advance Nutrients Jungle Juice for the rest of the grow. Jungle Juice’s selling point is that it is the only nutrient that I should need during the entire grow. One just need to make the solution stronger as the plant matures. The directions say to “stir vigorously” and that is true. It is very clumpy and I had to stir and shake the bottle a lot. As your plant is in veg and growing larger, directions say to up your Jungle Juice to 4 ml per liter. If my calculations are correct, I am using approx. 5 tablespoons per 5 gallon bucket. 1 gal is 3.78 liters 5 gallons=18.92 liters 4ml jungle juice per liter x 18.92 liters= 75.7 ml which is = to 5.119 tablespoons per 5 gallon bucket of water As the end of the summer is quickly approaching, I have spent some time reflecting this week on all of the contests that I have entered and not won this summer. It can be a little frustrating because of all the time I have spent taking pictures and writing commentary. But, instead of it getting me down, I have to think about all of the positive take aways and I want to share them on this platform. I have read a lot of diaries and now know why I am just an apprentice. I have a lot to learn from all of you. There are some really good growers with a lot of experience and crazy grow techniques. So much knowledge is on this platform-it’s mind boggling. To be a great grower, you must be willing to be vulnerable and put yourself out there and try different suggestions and new techniques. I have made a few friend that I enjoy chatting with. I enjoy reading comments versus just seeing likes. My best friend on grow diaries is @Natrona and my neighbor as well. She has been growing longer than I have been so I routinely learn from her. This summer I learned to mix 1 cup of Perlite into my soil. I can see where my plants need the air flow. And, I now I only defoliate fan leaves that absolutely need to be gone. I let the fan leaves stay on until they fall off. I want my buds to pull all the nutrients they can out of the fan leaves. I also bought 2 new tools that @natrona suggested. The first was a water PH tester and the second was my Max-ee Magnifier which is informative and fun to use. Great strain, would recommend. Nice smoke/vapor, friends love it, stupefying and euphoric, no heavy couch lock like heavy indicas. Taste great in The Mighty vaporizer, citrus with a hint of pine.

Hello. This is the end of week 7 and the beginning of week 8 of flowering. I'm a bit bummed about this grow. I've read that you just need to force a plant to flower, that's 12 hours of light and 12 hours of dark for the first 3 weeks (I had a tent inside the greenhouse) and then put it outside and it will continue to flower. I thought that was amazing, so I wanted to give it a try. Well, here we are at the end of the 7th week and it looks like the plants are going back into veg. Last year I didn't do up the tent for the last 2 weeks and everything was fine so I thought I would give this keeping it open after the 3rd week a try. Now I know. I can always turn it into hash, maybe dry ice hash. Here's another reason I'm bummed about this grow. I've got spider mites. I'm doing my best to knock them down with my hypochlorous acid. I'm spraying twice a week, but had some yellowish looking leaves, I reread the article (I put up a pic of it a few of weeks ago) and found I had to rinse the indoor plants. So after I sprayed the 1/2 strength acid I waited 10 minutes and rinsed with water. Today I can see more mites than when I sprayed before. So next time I'll wait till the 1/2 acid mix is dry before I rinse the leaves and see if that knocks them down more. If you don't try new things you don't learn. That's what this grow is about, to see if the plants can still keep flowering at my latitude and now that I have mites, to see if the hypochlorous acid will work without killing the plants.
