Día 16. Por ahora las plantas siguen en proceso de estiramiento. Hoy hice una defoliación fuerte. Esta etapa me pone ansioso porque quiero ya empezar a ver los primeros pelos de las flores. Pero viene bastante lento el tema. Supongo que voy a tener que esperar un poco más que 10 semanas para la cosecha. Pero tampoco me desanimo.

Tangie'matic showed me that she was in it for the long haul right from the start. This was my first time topping an autoflower and I wasn't sure how it was going to turn out - but each time she took on stress, she pushed back even stronger. I topped her once at the 5th node, and then used some low stress training to create this beautiful canopy. She really grew like a dream! Partway through flower I had to move my grow tent from my second-floor bedroom to my not quite warm enough basement. I had assumed that the heat from the grow lights would have compensated, but it didn't take me long to realize how wrong I was. This poor plant had her reservoir and atmospheric temperatures dropped with no warning. She held in there while I figured out how to get the environment closer to desirable and less feeling like a frozen tundra. In the mish mash of environmental flux, some of her buds began to foxtail. This was my first time seeing this happen; so despite the fact that it's not desirable, seeing foxtailing happen with my own buds for the first time was actually kind of cool. After the environmental woes were corrected, she stacked even more. Her buds nice and dense with a citrus fragrance complimented by some subtle skunky undertones. Before harvest I changed out her reservoir and gave her a 4 day flush along with 48 hours of darkness. When I opened the tent on harvest day I was punched in the face with a beautiful fragrance of mandarin that instantly lifted the corners of my mouth into a sweet smile of satisfaction. I cut her down and hung her to dry in my climate controlled closet holding a perfect 69.8°F and 55% RH. Six days later her buds were ready for the jars. Her dry buds gave me 8.8oz/250g of quality bud and an additional 2.9oz/82g of popcorn buds. Just being in jars for 24 hours has REALLY brought out even a stronger citrus aroma that is just a true pleasure to take in. Will update with more after the cure and first smoke experience. ✌️💜🌱0000

Moving along nicely now. The timelapse is showing some nice growth over the last 6 days. The next month should really be fun to watch. I plan to let them stay in the buckets for another week before I move them into the larger containers. Not much else to see early on. They should be ready for their first clipping here soon. Fun fun!

The inzane is so tall and the golf ball sized nugs are plentiful. They are really starting to gain the weight. Should see them tighten up in the next week or 2.

5/22 - fed and watered, some of the lower leaves are yellowing again and she's quite lightweight. She dries out quick, maybe from being in small 1 gallon container. Gave her about a quart of pH adjusted water with nutes. Also raised the light about 5 inches. 5/25 - looking a bit droopy, fed and watered, gave about a quart of pH adjusted water with nutes, and trimmed off the yellowing leaves

Was such a pleasant harvest from start to finish, no issues at all. A tip for next time would be to have the SCRoG lower as I couldn’t really tuck any node sights this time round, smells absofuckinglutely amazing from 3RD week bloom onwards!

I wasnt home much for 3 weeks starting this week so i dont have any idea about the exact conditions meanwhile but in the end it was more humid and hotter since i dimmed the light to 100%. Above/next to the lamp the maximum was 32C and at the leaves max 30C before adding airflow to the lamp. This brought it back down about 2C.

Last few days now, i gave them one feed with canna flush. I’ll just give them ph balanced water for now. Then put them in 48hr darkness with no water. I moved them to my other tent in preparation for harvest.

Well i broke a branch right off Bubba Cheese cake #2 stem by slightly trying to move a 3 gal pot lol ouchie They will both need supports fyi. Anywho, I either out did myself or these are the longest trichomes I've seen. #2 is bigger n frostier. #1 smells like freaken candy...and i mean the good colors you save for last lol. #2 is more muted but creamier and maybe hopefully some cheese. Increased exaust fan speed, Increased oscillating fan speed. Reduced lights to 11/13. Adjusted far red, adjusted morning to come on later at night and turned off the heat mat (yes i had a heat mat lol). That should hopefully bring out any colors but it seems this one may stay green af. Another grower is going to week 20 i think in flower and still no color change....in my experience that means this wont taste anything like earthy wood anthocyanins.

Day 8 Flower Hi growers, the end of week one has arrived. The plants seem to be happy. They’re starting to shoot up, new growth has that light green color, old growth is still dark green. I fed with Remo transition feed and and added green planet rezin. I think I may have been under watering as I realized there’s way more than 20% perlite…maybe closer to 45%. I’m going to start watering every 2 days, more coco style rather than soil with a dry back like I normally do. I think that could be the reason for the slower growth in veg regardless of light height and intensity with optimum environment and vpd. I was going to weave the new growth into the open squares, but historically it has caused those tops to be shorter at the end. So if they grow tall, I’ll add another level of trellis net and fill the squares of the upper net. Until then I’m just tucking the leaves on this very leafy plant. Heavy Defo will be on day 14. She has got a stank to her already. When watered or manipulated she has this skunky sour smell that I’m already intrigued by. Still have 2 months and 1 month of cure to wait ugh…..patience 👎🏻 I am having a bit of difficulty dialing in the Vipar Spectra XS2000. It seems very powerful for my setup especially in veg, I’ll try 50% in veg next time. You can see how stacked the buds are in the pics. I’ve raised it up 6” from the top of the tent to hopefully get some stretch. It’s heat output is good at keeping my tent at 77-81 at 100%. I am very interested to see how it grows the FastBuds autos once the SLH is done. That tent will have the XS2000, FastBuds Autos grown with Gaia Green Organics. Ginger Nut Cookies & Aussie Music Videos 4 weeks of flowering completed 26th March 2020 Hi Everyone I hope you are well , This Plant is starting to get some frosting happening and the smell has elvolved a little once again 😏 It's still got the tropical fruit like aroma but has got an underlying smell almost like honey. I had to get up Early this morning as an impending thunderstorm threatened to drench my plants which I wasn't going to let happen 😡 bloody rain 😆 It's all good now they are under cover and protected from any more showers we may have . She had a good feed yesterday of some Liquid potasium, Seaweed solution , Epsom salts and Mollasses so she should be content until the sun returns . Repotted ladies to 15l pots

Week 8 for Moby Dick by fastbuds, Been getting a few spiders webs here & there on this plant... i don't think its spider mites but staying on the look out encase it is. Aphid situation seems to be well handled ATM after i sprayed some organic pesticide on the plant & some much stronger stuff in the surrounding area like i mentioned i planned on doing on last weeks update. Been defoliation very little on this plant just the stuff making shade on the flower growth areas. 😎
