Another week has gone by. Still not seeing any amber trichomes but a lot seem to be going cloudy so hopefully another 2 weeks MAX for this one. Both plants are looking kinda deficient but only a week or two left so not too fussed about that. Both plants smell very sweet and are both the same smell too which suggests a nice strain stability. Still unsure which one will yield more, one being topped and one left to its own life. Hopefully next week we will see some amber!

Another week for the persian pie 😁 so far so good, only 2 and half weeks left, we gave some candy and for the rest only water! Hopefully things continue to go good! She showed a lot of thc so I'm sure it's going to be a strong smoke

05/05/2021 Happy May 5th Been a week and pistils fading, not much in new pistils yet but I'm expecting a new wave in the coming days. Phase 2 is what I'm looking forward to, I hope autoflower's have different stages of flowering like photos. I guess we see next week. 🙏 Ps. Using microbial science as a booster for her last few weeks. She has adjusted nicely to being outdoors I like that she is flowering in spring at 14+ hours of light, hopefully finished at end of june under long and strong sun exposure! And watch the trichomes!.

Die Pflanzen werden durstiger. An einer Pflanze sterben unten bereits die ersten Blätter ab. Ich vermute, dass ich zu wenig dünge. Die Blüten sind noch relativ klein aber die ersten Blütenstempel sind bereits orange. Die Pflanze hat laut RQS noch 3 Wochen Blüte also werde ich von 2 auf 3 mal düngen die Woche erhöhen und generell etwas mehr Wasser geben. Trotzdem denke ich, dass die Entwicklung ganz ok ist. Oder seht ihr das anders? Gebt mir gerne Input. =) ###English### The plants become thirstier. The first leaves are already dying at the bottom of one plant. I suspect that I am not fertilizing enough. The flowers are still relatively small but the first pistils are already orange. According to RQS, the plant still has 3 weeks of flowering so I will increase the fertilization from 2 to 3 times a week and generally give it a little more water. Nevertheless, I think the development is quite ok. Or do you see it differently? Please give me some input. =)

Week 8 Flower Flush flush flush 💦🚽💦🚽💦 It's extremely important to flush for at least 14 days when using synthetic nutes, or any bottled nutes in my opinion. The aim is to make her cannibalize (fade) as much as possible before she's chopped. By doing this, she's using up her stored nutrients, causing the leaves to eventually die. The better the flush the cleaner the smoke 👌💨 even when in an organic set up, the plant needs to be nicely faded before being harvested. Otherwise she's still full of nutrients. I still feel I'll be able to get an even better flush when I eventually make the switch to RO water, as my tap water holds a ppm value of approx 150. It's not too much, but 0 is always better. She was taken down on Day 57 flower, after a 16 Day flush. I didn't want to take her any further as she was quite stressed being so close to the light. So to avoid getting seeds I waited until she had a beautiful fade before giving her the chop ✂️ I always take my girls down about 30mins before the light turns on so there is minimal chlorophyll production in the plant. This is to ensure the best smell, taste and overall burn after drying and curing. A subtle but very sweet-ish tropical fruit skin kind of smell to her. Her buds are super dense and covered in trichomes. I trimmed off all fan leaves and then each branch was hung in my drying box and placed in a cool area. She was dry after 6 days and ready to be dry trimmed and jarred for curing. I'll post those pics with the harvest update! Thanks for following and happy growing! 🐺

Gave her a heavy defoliation! She's growing very strong, and needed a little thinning out! The defoliation promotes the lower buds growth, by allowing more light penetration! The defoliation also ensures that airflow throughout the plant is strong!

No major changes this week but the plant is still taking 2ltrs of water every 2nd night. I have stopped giving nutrients now so it’s just getting Ph’d water. Some of the lower leaves are turning yellow as expected. From this week on I’ll be dropping the temperature a bit during lights out to help produce more trichomes and also turn it a bit more purple.

26.12.24: I have noticed light stress on my plants. I had moved the lights further away and increased the light intensity to 70%. Unfortunately that created some issues. Namely severe palour of the leaves. To try and rectify the situation, I've dimmed the lights to about 30%, staying at the same distance, about 30 inches away. I measured the par levels, after I did this. They should a reading of anywhere between 40 and 150, at the canopy of the plants. They are all different sizes. This seems to have improved the colouring on all plants. After this evenings watering, I will monitor recovery and increase lighting intensity again slowly. I am also using the light cycle of 21/3, so the plants have many hours more light to absorb, than for example 12/12 or 18/6. I am pleased with the progress, considering all of my mistakes! 29.12.24: So I finally gave LST a shot, it's probably a bit too late, however I really want to get the most of the triploid pheno, and I went a little crazy and LST'd all plants except 2, as they're too small. I did that late last night, this afternoon I was amazed to see the plants turn their leaves back to the light source. I'm glad I overcame my fear of trying it. Entering the 12th week and she is looking and smelling great. Lots of bud sites developing nicely. Super happy with how well the mainlining worked out for this auto. And still few more weeks still to finish up! Cheers 😎
