As she gets closer to the end these fat dense buds are filling out with a ton of trichomes that are so beautiful some almost look purple when the light hits just right. Week 2 Flower (3/07/22 - 3/13/22)

Day 64 - Starting week 10 and she is getting sticky and stinky. I did a pretty decent defoliation tonight, just to try and get some of the undergrowth going. The way she’s going, she might only have 2-3 weeks left but I have plenty of meds right now so I’m not in any sort of rush. I see ZERO signs of any sort of nute burns so I’m really starting to like the new nutes and so easy to mix. Day 65 - Looking great right right now and went ahead and lowered the lights a bit, they’re now about 12” above the canopy. I had 3 other grows going on but for the second time in a couple months the wife left the tent open this morning and didn’t check before she left the room and one of our cats was in there and they destroyed my 3 little ones but left this and my Sour Raspberry Kush alone so deciding what to start next. She’s good on water until the weekend sometime. Day 66 - Ended up having to give her about a gallon and a half of water tonight, she ended up drinking up what was left I guess. The lights being about 12” away seem to be doing her good and not bothering her at all. Day 68 - Man oh man, she is frosty as hell and smells really sweet. By the looks of trichs and pistils, I’m probably gonna give her two more weeks until she gets chopped. If she needs longer, I’ll give her more time but I think 2 weeks should be plenty. She drank a ton of water so she might need more either Sunday or Monday. Day 69 - She’s definitely ready for some more water but gonna hold off for another day, just to let her dry up a bit more. I’m gonna do another defoliation tomorrow as well and she should be good to go till the end. Day 70 - She was ready for water today and gave her another feeding of nutes. This will be the last one and next watering I’ll flush with the Sledgehammer and she’ll just get water until she’s done. She is so damn frosty and sweet smelling, she’s gonna be a pain in the ass to trim.

First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. Day 21 Flowering: Well what a week it has been this week growmies Dealing with flash heat waves , building soils , setting up new lights and generally trying to squeeze every last inch of my grow space for plants without creating a stagnant lower growth below the canopy . airflow is vital with such a cramped , hot and dense budded canopy starting. I have been feeding the Banana mash with a slightly lighter feed than the Purple monkey and they look a lot less toxic. Still way behind the Purple Monkey for bud production and density , theyvare stretching wildly still. The main 3 are very similar in size etc but #4 is really getting like a bowl of noodles now and will need some serious thinning out and brutal decisions in who goes to harvest time. Being in the middle of the canopy she is really trying to spread out wider too. The Banana mash are really good,vigorous growers with lots of side branching to create some really big plants full of budsites , the key will be if you can utilise all of that growth or if ,like me, you need to select the best branches and tips to focus on. The Purple Monkey are all doingreally good and for 21 days , the buds are very well developed. It could indicate an early flowering finish around 7 weeks possibly but I am hoping it is more about their intended finish being huge buds. The #1and #2 are really packing the weight on amd stacking the nodes already. this gives their buds a really solid appearance already and I will be very cautious of allowing moisture to build up with this density . The #3 is a different pheno to the other 2 and her buds are further apart and more spikey looking. She is also trying to hit the clouds still so need to be firmly held down if you want to keep them low. I have been supercropping the tallest of the limbs and trying to keep them upright enough to stay in the light available. She will need support once her buds pack the weight on. They are all starting to smell so sweet too and even now have a nice sticky appeal when touched. I could not recommend this strain enough and love growing it already. The purple is starting to appear in #2 already and should continue as it is not related to temp drops at all that can happen . Shebwill live up to her namesake i think. The other 2 are pure white and solent green looking buds which are a great examples of what they can do. I can only see a great yield from how they are going now and wishbinjad a room full of them .lol. The other 2 crosses are both starting to hit their stretch max now with the Exotic? really looking thick and bushy and showing her sex now. She needs to stretch now to get her mains up into the canopy without the tub underneath. The Mango X Mimosa is in full flowering mode for sure with no signs of any male gonads or hermie behaviour...It is making a huge plant so far and with the massive growth of the father being the main driver I think and she/he put out over 5oz. Fingers crossed for that size with beautiful exotic mango cream buds ..... So there we have it for this update growmies. Hope the video isn't too long this time guys but a lot happening in the room. A big hello to all the cannabis growing gardeners...and all the other visitors that came across my grow journal. I'm a little bit late with starting this grow because the plants will finish around end of december or so, so i'm basically counting on a warm december :) It was supposed to start earlier, and I did germinate 11 seeds last month but only three of the lot sprouted out, it was totally my fault and i did abort that grow so we could start with a clean slate and at least four plants....so here we are ;) All three Do-Si-Dos seeds popped after 36 hours in a glass of water and after planting them in rockwool cubes all of them sprouted. My original plan was to grow Kalini Asia and all of the Kalini Asia seeds popped after 36 hours in a glass of water, but thanks to my thick awkward fingers the little seedlings were manhandled by my big hands and non of them came out from the rockwool cubes...my fingers are killers to most of my little sprouts :/ Sorry for that Zamnesia. Day 33 she’s beautiful and flowering and wonderful. I’m really excited for how she’s turning out. I used recycled dirt for the first time ever because they were my last cycle for summer break. But she’s impressing me like always none the less. can’t not wait for her!
