7/30/23 - Day 48 - OK, so last I posted, I have been waiting to see how tall she grows. She does not seem to be stopping her growth I'm going to try some super cropping. I've never done this before, but it honestly does not seem like a bad thing. Hurt the plant a little, and the response should be more THC. The reason for hurting the plant is so that you can bend the plant as you need it. She's sleeping now, but when she wakes up, ill take a look and possibly start to super crop. Currently, I am working on implementing the auto water feature of the LEAF Grow system, which is quite convenient to set up. All it requires is to hook it up to a standard hose outlet, saving you time and effort. By using Reverse Osmosis (RO) water instead of tap water, I can ensure a controlled and optimal environment for my plants. Tap water contains various additives like copper, zinc, and chlorine, which can't be measured precisely and might affect plant growth. In a successful grow operation, every aspect needs careful control, and water is of utmost importance. RO water, with its near-zero ppm, ensures that there are no unwanted additives, offering the best conditions for plant development. Although RO water is not produced under pressure, I've found a suitable solution to address this concern. To achieve the required pressure for the LEAF unit, which is rated for 30 - 80 PSI, I've researched and discovered that a sump pump would work perfectly in this setup. This pump adds the necessary 30 PSI to the water line as it is drawn from the inlet, eliminating the need to pressurize a bottle or container, thus avoiding potential hazards associated with excessive pressure. I'll be documenting my progress with pictures as I set up this system, and I can't wait to witness the auto water feature in action, saving me from the hassle of manually adding water. Super Crop: I did about half of the plant in a Super Crop today. Meaning I damaged the branches enough to bend them. The plant will work overtime to fix them, but also, the Resin and THC will be surging through the plant in a rush to be more defensive against what it more than likely a predator eating it. I did my best to make the branches pliable. I think I did a good job. I was so scared that I was going to snap them.... and I did; on a couple, they split up the side. So I grabbed my duct tape and added a bandaid. I have been worried sick about how she would handle all the destruction. After about 3 hrs, I saw that all the Super Cropped branches were already reaching back up. This is a great sign that the plant is doing well and that all the branches I was sure were to fall off are thriving. Again I think this box is magic. The topping didn't stunt any growth, trimming a 3-gallon bucket full of leaves 1st week into flower didn't stunt any growth, and Super Cropping 2 weeks into flowering seems to be thriving. I'm going to get to experiment with this LEAF box on all kinds of strains. The possibilities are endless. Just one theory I want to try, Purple. I want to grow a strain known for its purple, and I want to grow it a few times, each time growing it colder and colder to document and show how cold might affect the purple color like we have all read and heard about. These are the kinds of things that I think about and why I choose LEAF. Ill be back to update tomorrow morning. 8/1/23 - Day 50 - I updated some of the pictures. Flowering is going well. Every day the water is less, and the buds are bigger! I scoped out some of the buds already. Now we just wait. i have a water change coming up in a few days. Actualización 05/10/2024 ¡Hola, growers! Perdón por no poder compartir las semanas completas, pero poco a poco volvemos a la normalidad. Las fotos que ven corresponden al día 01/10/24 y, como pueden ver, están llenas de terpenos y tricomas por todas partes. Tanto la Fruit Gum como la Biscotti x Candy Rain son dos de las cepas más resinosas que he cultivado y, además, desprenden un olor increíblemente fuerte. La Fruit Gum tiene esos toques dulces y nostálgicos, como a chicle de mascar, que me transportan directamente a mi infancia. En cuanto a la Biscotti x Candy Rain, su aroma es como el de una clásica galleta americana casera, ¡muy intenso! Ambas cepas me están impresionando mucho por su resinosidad y aromas únicos. Cabe destacar que las genéticas de Uktha Genetics me han sorprendido gratamente; los resultados están siendo fantásticos. Eso sí, estas cepas comen como camiones, pero mientras se mantenga un control exhaustivo de las fertilizaciones y del medio de cultivo, no hay problema de sobrefertilización. Pronto cortaremos una de las plantas que está bastante adelantada. Espero que disfruten tanto como yo este proceso y, como siempre, ¡buenos humos para todos! 🌱💨

"Hi, I received my pH meter this week, so from week 6 onwards, I'm aiming for a pH value of 6.0 - 6.5. This week, I noticed that the plant in the small pot received too much fertilizer. The other two 7.5-liter fabric pots also received double the recommended amount according to the feeding schedule, but they don't show any signs of over-fertilization."

Week 5 day 1. I have a favourite for next run. I’m very happy, I haven’t really defoliated at all this grow, just letting it grow. Wish I was going for mains(topping) but still very good. Going to wait around week 9 so seeds will be good for next run. I have decided to do very hard hst next round to show max potential. Very happy with supercropping so will do it very heavy with scrog. I will try to reveg the one I really like but it is difficult having only 1 set of lights and 1 tent. Plants are about 7ft tall, might just run 2 next round in 4x8 or will still continue to go 4 in the 4x8.

She has made day 49. I removed the bud clips early in the week. Gave her a good watering in the middle of the week. Weather has been nice for most of the week. Heather from @Fast_Buds also sent me out a hoodie😍. I used it as part of my video update.

Had to bend the top cola over this week as she was way too tall. She's nicely entered flowering this week. Buds look nice and compact.

I'm back and since the gorilla glues have been harvested this girl is taking her time and what a yield she's gonna give grandmommy purple

We are now on week 4 of flower about another 3 to go but they are getting there now and loving the purple on the lsd-25 will be doin another on my next run with fastberry

week 3 i defoliated and increase nutes to week 3 strength. Liking the growth I'm getting from these phenos especially #1. At the end of week 3 Pheno # 1 is deff growing the best but I will flower out other 2 as well. Stem rub giving same smell on all 3 phenos. I cant describe smell of it yet but it is different then anything else I have now or have run in the past.

Week 10, so from today I stopped watering the Gelato Cookie D'ohpe and on Saturday no more light as well. Sunday is harvest day finally. Not much changed, I raised up the water with 25ml so the Purple Punch gets 200ml 2 x a day. That's all, since last week I started giving 13 hours darkness and 11 hours light and from Monday will be 12/12 after I harvested the Gelato Cookie D'ohpe and I can use the tent only for her. Fertilization will happen on the same days. Sunday fun day, Gelato Cookie D'ohpe is harvested. Purple Punch left alone. From tomorrow I will switch the light schedule 12/12. End of the week Purple Punch is 43 cm.
