Beginning of week.. I raised the lights a little.. They are at 50% power at 18" (roughly) from the plants. The ladies are getting from 420 to 500 PPFD. Went ahead and fed them some extra FloraMicro this week.. I'm guessing they are just very hungry girls.. And I'm thinking the pH in the rootzone issue is not clearing up at all.. BUT.. It seems like no matter what pH I water them with.. The runoff ALWAYS comes out at 5.8 or 5.9 with the Mandarin Cookies and 5.8 or 5.7 with the ETHOS Cookies.. So if you want to reuse your coco coir.. Make sure to remove ALL the roots. The girls dont look too bad at all.. And that's why I'm guessing they just needed more nutes in the mix.. We shall see how this week goes! Mid week.. They are looking alot better! Mandarin Cookies is exploding woth growth.. ETHOS Cookies is growing slow but she is growing for sure.. I think I may need to remove a node or 2 on the ETHOS Cookies.. I could just leave it.. But the very top 2 are covering alot of tops.. I could make some clones from it.. Hmm.. All-in-all.. I'm happy with how these girls are growing for now tho.. This rootzone issue isnt going away.. But I think I found a way to make it work out.. I've been watering a little differently.. Here is a bit of an example: Day 1: Feed at 6.5 Day 3: Water at 6.4 Day 5: Feed at 6.3 Day 7: Water at 6.2 Day 9: Feed at 6.5 Day 11: Water at 6.4 Day 13: Feed at 6.3 Day 15: Water at 6.2 Etc... The runoff is staying above 5.5 each time.. But as I lower the pH, the runoff pH lowers as well (obviously).. So I think watering this way has helped keep these gorgeous ladies happy.. And theyare also very hungry.. I may have to start watering one plant every other day.. Water plant 1 tomo.. Water plant 2 the next day.. Then plant 1 the next day and then plant 2 the next day etc... 1 reason I want to start doing it that way is because I think the ETHOS Cookies isn't needing as much nutes as the Mandarin Cookies.. But they are looking great. Very happy and so are they! The heat has been insane lately.. So at the hottest part of the day I try to just turn the light down to 25% for 4 hours or so.. I hate having to do that.. But it's all I can do for now.. Or maybe change the light/dark hours.. Blah.. Whatever, they are happy! End of week.. I supercropped 2 branches.. They pretty much healed up and are already back to normal.. Like it didnt bring them down any lower at all lol.. It straightened back up and its as if nothing happened.. Just a big ass (MOOSE) knuckle lol.. But I stopped using the Kushie Kush and was just using the normal Gen Hydro FloraBloom in the mix. Will be upping the FloraGro next week! Wow.. Such hungry ladies! It's been so long since I've grown a bigger photo period.. I forgot how much they can take!.. On to the next!...

Week 5 with the 40L pots and first week of flowering. The plants filmed at the end they where from a diffrent tent but i put them inside my big tent to finish their flower period, they where grown in 11L pots whole veg & flower period. The main grow that this post is about are 40L pots. I just had to show the buds in the 11L pots ;)

Another great week for the Apple Betty girls. I have not seen a single deficiency, other than the odd yellowed or withered leaf under the canopy, typically due to lack of light. I will come through soon and do a defoliation of both tents to allow for more light to penetrate, and perhaps get a good push for some girthy colas 😋. I have lowered the temps a bit in the tents by controlling my lung room temps, and they are maxing out at 77 degrees and hitting a night time cool of about 70. I have also lowered the humidity to hover between 47 and 52 %. Hopefully will start to get some nice colours as they finish. As I mentioned before, when I water is when I like to get under the canopy and check the stems and leaves for anything that shouldn’t be… and typically once a week after watering I’ll wipe down the tent and sanitize any surface I can. There is no reason to get lazy, that’s how you get Pests, Mold, and PM. Happy Gardening 🇨🇦👊❤️

This week went pretty well, other than she stretched like crazy and I am now getting worried about running out of vertical space. I also had a few of my bottom leaves get a few brown and yellow spots on them. I did post some pics and asked a question, thank you for the responses, much appreciated! I am thinking about adding my Spyder Farmer LED 100 Watt light into the tent for the nebula auto because it is about 23 inches shorter than the sour diesel. I believe it would only raise my temp about 2 degrees, and possibly lower the humidity by one or two percent. I must say my dehumidifier has been a freaking stud, running 24X7 and not complaining. I should look into adding another unit, it has been in the mid 90's and muggy for about a week. So far I have to say I am super impressed and excited with this setup, the genetics, and with growing this wonderful plant in general. Already planning ahead to my next grow, and what I can do better. I have been enjoying myself and I really appreciate everyone who has taken the time to answer my questions! I am having a blast and am excited to see what this lady will give up in a few weeks!

Ok so finally decided to move the girls into the flower tent so switched to 12/12 also flowering under a 315watt cdm 3k bulb the new cdm light is doing wonders for the girls

Added top funnel watering wick, most insects/bugs use damp topsoil 1-2" to reproduce. This uses gravity, 👊👊👊fiber wicks water, and spreads evenly, to keep moisture under the topsoil out of the reach of bugs. The High intensity was to strong (clearly my fault) in the beginning which stunted her overall stretch, she however still delivered super dense, terpene and trichome loaded buds.

4/27/22 Today makes the beginning of preflower. Notice the light xoxo of her tops. Also today her first white hair popped 4/28/22 Late last night i to the early hours of today I added some.LST clups qnd took 4 large fan leaves from the lower region of the plant to allow some light in to the emerging branches. 4/29/22 Today I did her first major defoliation. I only.took leaves on the inside margin of the plant that blocked light from emerging branches. This part of ganja growing always scared me because they look so yucky after for a day or two 5/1/22 My lady looks beautiful today. Looking better after her defoliation a few days ago. She I needing about 1 gal of plain dechlorinated water every other day to keep her topped off. She is drinking some water! I'm assuming this will mean I will have to feed her more that once weekly as well. 5/2/22 I realized today that the white hair I was seeing were just the plant reaching maturity and showing her gender... she is not behaving like a plant in flower. I have decided to change my light cycle to 12:12 in order to flip her I to flower. This is because she is getting too large for her to fit in my tent if she were to continue to veg any longer. The stretch during the first two weeks of flower will likely have my 4x4 filled up.

I cut some more leaves from both plants. The ibgger one is now about 70cm tall.. o.O I wonder why she does that :D Plus I wonder if the buds will get as big as those i nmy smaller tent. Hola estimados. Gracias a Dios todo bien esta semana, el jueves 07 su primer día 12/12, hoy ya mostrando su preflora, el riego foliar con cannaboost hizo que este proceso fuese rápido (a mi parecer). Así que justo hoy comenzamos a contabilizar las semanas para ver de cuantas semanas son de floración. Hoy hice una desfoliación. El riego intercalado entre los dos bases que uso, foliar 3 veces por día de cannaboost, hoy inoculando trichodermas, y mañana el riego con el mismo ec que he venido regando, ya que desfoliamos, y esa subida de EC que siempre aconsejan las tablas de cultivo, no será necesaria, ya que la energía producida se distribuirá entre menos hojas, y lo restante se va al desarrollo de las flores. Solo usaré el feeding grow dos veces mas, una mañana y otra para la siguiente desfolación. Eso ha sido esta semana de encierro, la ventaja dedicarle tiempo a esto y obviamente compartir con la familia. Se les quiere a todos, que mi Señor Jesucristo bendiga sus cultivos y sus vidas. Día 8 (28/10) Subo a DLI 20 Spray solo H2O RO en el top del sustrato Retiro la cúpula de humedad, porque una de las CBD Auto 20:1 tenia el tallo ligeramente doblado por falta de resistencia Sin la cúpula y con el ventilador a la potencia mínima (1/10), van a tener una suave brisa que va a hacer que se fortalezca el tallo! Día 9 (29/10) Las plantas se han estirado mucho y se tambalean un poco Creo que deberían haber tenido un DLI más alto desde el principio! Día 10 (30/10) CBD Auto 20:1 y LSD-25 Auto se encuentran "tumbadas" porque el tallo se ha estirado mucho! Hago un soporte casero con una brocheta de madera + alambre + clip de enrejado para mantener los tallos verticales!
