High temperatures, high transpiration, high turgor pressure, and lots of cell elongation. Cannabis plants can sense and respond to their surroundings. They don't have brains like humans, but they have evolved sophisticated ways to perceive and react to various environmental cues, including light, gravity, touch, water, sound, and even the presence of other plants. This ability, known as plant perception, allows them to adjust their growth, defend themselves, and even communicate with each other. Infrared light, particularly near-infrared (NIR), can influence plant growth and development by impacting various processes including initiation and elongation. UVB radiation inhibits stem and hypocotyl elongation in plants. Moderate UV-B exposure can cause a decrease in stem and leaf elongation, leading to a more compact plant architecture. Higher UV-B intensities, like 7.5 kJ·m−2, can lead to reduced elongation. So it becomes a dance of initiating a stretch to seek to higher ppfd, then whenever you want the stretching to slow down,UVB inhibits the stretch by altering hormone balance,, coupled with the high-intensity dli once you get her to a height where you want. Being autos I don't have much time to play around. So we are playing fast and loose, get stretched, and then spread her open. You get the idea. 86F 30% RH with the lower side of optimal on ppfd, with a smudgering of infra-red to initiate response of making her stretch more so than normal. Once she sprouts up in height, I drop metrics to 77F 55%RH% while upping the ppfd, giving her a dash of extra 430nm, giving the grow more of a 6000K. This encourages denser growth with less elongation. Higher side of optimal PPFD, with the auxin hormone balance changed, the side stems are starting to shoot up to the same canopy level as the apex (almost). Normally takes me 2 untrained toppings before a plant will flatten its canopy. I didn't take enough off the apex to do it in one chop, it was only day 10, so there really wasn't much to top from without creating unpredictable results using fim, opted just to keep it to a clean topping. Even predictability over the Chaos of the"Fim". Brainfart: Remember, the veg stage creates the skeleton that will stretch out into flowers. How dense you create the skeleton through light intensity will determine the density of your clusters as they form cola, as long as you can keep up with the demands. Increasing light intensity generally leads to plants having shorter internodal spacing, meaning the distance between nodes (where leaves grow) on a stem is reduced. Last week we noticed one of the ladies had begun to show sex. A couple calyxes with barely visible white hairs coming out of them. Seeing as there's no electricity where the garden is located we opted for a 1500 lumen LED lantern, that we turn on at 11:pm every night for about 40 minutes to and hour. This seemed to have done the trick as no more hairs have been seen and the vegging process is back on track.

So proper calculation!! It’s exactly 5 weeks today since germination! Been getting cold temperatures during lights out period!! So just introduced a oil heater.. when lights are out now I’m keeping a desk fan running all the time with the carbon filter fan also! Oil heater comes on when lights go out but is only reaching a temperature of 21 degrees which is better than 14-15 that I had been getting without the heater! Still unsure weather I should be putting into flowering stage yet but that’s what I’ve decided to do! Getting bigger leafs still and unsure if to trim? One of my stems did snap as maybe a little to hard on the lst! It’s made the perfect clone tho! So done some research into clonex??? Another topic that’s tricking my brain!! Introduced more light into my grow tent also which is a fan operating 600w led grow light! Not sure if the light I already have and a led one will make a difference as there not the same?? But still they look healthy??

So I have added new strains. Purple Berry Kush, Diesel Fire OG, and Sour Fire Kush. The Sour Fire Kush is Bubba Kush × (Sour Diesel × Fire OG) This should be good. I heard it leans to the Bubba.we will see. Purple Berry Kush is up and we have 2 they are cute. Strawberry Lemonade is doing good. Slurricane is doing a color change, starting to look nice and frosty, at 4 1/2 weeks when the pic were taken. Ok and for the news of the week. FOG or Fire OG is a female. So this is really good news for the 4 sided girl. She split into 2 tops, and of course 1 is dominate. So idk I might have to tie them apart somehow. Because there will be no topping her. And as far as I know she is pure Fire OG nothing else. On the video the purple monster is Gorilla Zkittles go check her out. She is on the chopping block. It rained wasn't a good day I will check the tricome's tomorrow on her. So all and all shit is going to happen!!! 🤩 if I like it or not. 9/30/18. She still looks great. No burn and no deficiencies so far. I fed her a liter and a half . The pot is now heavy but not totally soaked. I did not water to runoff but the lower portion of the pot is wet. I don't like soaking the pots because the bottoms take ay too long to totally dry and I have had issues watering schedules. 10/5/18 Still doing perfect with minimal attention. Bumped up the amount of Grow Big last feeding with no ill effect. Looking ahead and having weeks before the auto is done I didn't know how to face the upcoming issue of vertical space. Shes too big to LST and I did not want to top her because shes doing incredibly well and want to see what she will produce. I rigged up a scrog contained within the bucket. I did a mod years ago to a smoker which gave me the idea in the middle of the night. I might change out the screen itself since it was just what I had on hand but will see how it works.. The openings are 2.5" so it should suit my needs. I have it set at 8 inches above soil but it is fully adjustable up and down by the nuts on the threaded rod. I plan on keeping the main stem under the screen to induce the plant to keep producing shoots and fill the area. Im pretty excited about trying this and Stay Tuned.

Nice smell and taste. Buds were airy, but believe it is because I did not cut out lower portions good. Bud is potent and how dense it is does not bother me. Thanks again fastbuds. Hello growmies! Welcome to week six of An Epsilon Adventure! Massive thanks to both Shogun and Royal Queen Seeds for sponsoring this grow! So here we are at week six and every one of these girls are at a slightly different stage, it is quite fascinating to watch them develop one after the other. Today I made the last adjustment to the light possible. I removed the adjustable hangers and affixed a carabiner which I tightly tied to the top of the tent bar. There is about 1.5 inches of space between the top of the shade and the tallest part of the roof of the tent. Plant 1 is already taller than this, and it looks like plant 6 and maybe even plant 5 are going to join it. It's a madness. I am sure you have already looked at the photos but just in case you do what I do and read the diary first... Here is my assessment at the beginning of week 6: Plant 1: Height: 1st (137cm) - what can I say about this ridiculous plant? Day 36... 137cm tall. I have had to raise the light to as high as it is physically possibly to raise it and it's still not high enough. She is done stretching now, she may add 3-5cm over the next week or so but I don't expect more than that, so her top of her main cola going to have to develop above the level of the light. Nothing I can really do, nothing wise anyway. What a monster plant. Maturation: 4th - early into flower - bud sites developing, pistils just starting to explode. Plant 2: Height: 4th (111cm) - this plant has been there or there abouts as the tallest plant for most of the grow, but she has topped out at 111cm. She will gain some during flower but not much more than a few centimetres. Very impressive plant, loads of bud sites, really big strong secondary branches. This one is going to be colas galore. Maturation: 3rd - well into flower - all white pistils Plant 3: Height: 6th (95cm) For some brief days the tallest plant in the room, she peaked early and is now the "shortest" at "only" 95cm for this "50-70cm" strain. She is utterly dwarfed by four of her five sisters in just about every department, being quite a bit smaller even than plant 4 (although I have removed the most lower nodes from this plant). Compared with her sisters she is almost a runt... except that she is 25cm taller than the strain top-end average and matches the maximal height of the previous tallest Epsilon F1 plant I am aware of. It's not that she is small, actually she's pretty big for an Epsilon F1, it's just that the rest of the girls are on another level altogether. Plants 1, 5 and 6 are all absolute beasts. Maturation: 1st - well into flower - first shades of brown in some pistils. Plant 4: Height: 5th (98cm) although only 3cm taller than plant 3, overall she is a much larger plant. Her secondary nodes are the same height as plant 3. Maturation: 2nd - well into flower - all white pistils Plant 5: Height: 3rd (113cm) - one of the two thick/short girls who have grown at a similar pace all along - she is further ahead than plant 6 but not by much and I think she will probably exceed 120cm this week, though I do not think she will outgrow plant 1 or 6. Maturation: 5th - early into flower - bud sites developing. Plant 6: Height: 2nd (120cm) - my predictions were correct about this girl and her continued growth. I now think she might actually outgrow plant 1, which is quite worrying. Maturation: 6th - early into flower - bud sites forming - by far the least mature plant of the six. ### Week 6 Day 2 23:00 30/7 Photographed. Raised the light. Rotated the plants. Inspected, measured and reported on each plant. ### Week 6 Day 3 23:00 31/7 It has not escaped my attention that the plants that are more advanced into flower have darkened and have some burnt tips. I need to flush them and lay off the base nutes a bit. 07/10 Hey guys, how you doing ? Flushed the plants with 2l of water per plant, they responded very well and are very happy. First pistils showing up, thats a nice sign. Both the Amnesia plants are still in veg but definitely noticed stretching. As soon as they dry out im gonna give them some nuts, probably half the recommended dosage.

1st of November, HARVEST, D91 So, after the 24 hours of darkness, she is now beautiful and ready. After chopping her, I hung her for some hours – I had some stuff to do – and after that I did wet trimming since I find it more convenient and I don´t like to trim dry buds. I guess the best way for me would be to leave it drying for some days, do the trimming, then leave it drying some more, but, I sincerely don´t have patience lol. When I was in the last stock to trim (which was the main btw) the top bud looked strange to me so I opened it and it was starting to rot.. I got really sad but what can I do except for trying to save it, right? So I took all the rotten parts out of the top bud and tore it to pieces to watch it closely and keep it from getting any more mold. D94 Today I weighed the half part of the top bud that was already dry and it remained without any mold: 3.6 grams. D97 Everything is dry and now curing, the total weight is 68.6, 65 of the whole plant and 3.6 of what I saved from the rotten bud. I´m really happy with the results, the buds aren´t much dense but they look beautiful. D111 Today is the 14th day of curing. D120 Today I´ll be doing the smoke report, it´s been curing for 3 weeks and the smells is quite good already, I know it can be better but the taste is good already so I´ll be doing it today. I have a new light with a bloom setting hopefully that will make a nice flowering. Got a new fan for air circulation. The new light has cooling fans. Haven't noticed any burns so im happy with my order. If you look at the last few pictures my tent is home made and cheap very cheap. The lights not an expensive one but I think its fine for now.
