Today 7/30/19, day 57 and the start of week 9. I'm still continuing to alternate between days with my pesticide treatment (especially after finding that bug living on one of hulkberries fan leaf) and thrive alive green daily foliage spray as a prophylactic solution against any possible pests or mold going into these last few dog days of veg. I will flush them with distilled ph'd water for two days this weekend in preparation for flower. Then I'll start them on some "flower fuel" bloom booster on top of my secret for success flower recipe at 1/4 of the recommended strength. Outside of that still no adverse issue to report for the end of the 8th week. After my last trim, they both have responded very nicely, I was kind of worried about fat banana stalled growth. But one thing I noticed when I topped her at the 6th node, yes the main stem stopped growing but it developed many bud sites up and down every stem. Whereas hulkberry was topped at the 8th node, she has mainly focused on developing long stems and only 2 or 3 bud sites along her stems. Even though hulkberry in structure, is much bigger than fat banana and has a way bigger root system. Fat banana is bushier and has developed way more bud sites than hulkberry. I can't tell which strain will yield the most at this point only time will tell! Also, a big shout out to "J"@RQS, thank you for the excellent customer service. Another reason why Royal Queen Seeds is top 3 in breeding!!

Week 3 flowering (a week is 5 days) Both plants begin to seriously flower with some early trichomes on leaves and buds. It seems that Gori is quite in a more advanced status compared to Rilla. I also changed the nutrients compositions following the 3rd week Advanced Nutrients for coco professional program (I calculated EC of every single nutrient and made a custom dosage program for every week according to a more realistic EC value - check nutrients in my diary). Plants are doing well, leaves are beautifully green without signs of nutrients burns, excess or deficiencies. They are watered every day in the morning with fertilized water. Every day I also correct the training of the branches, removing unwanted popcorn/bottom growth and removing leaves that covers buds and leaves that don’t perform well (i.e.: leaves at the bottom that will not take light). 🌱

I also gave her pot a 1/4 turn. 9/29- Yesterday I didn't water her, only turned her pot and checked her over... Wow! She's really ramping up the trichomes making her flowers look like their sugar coated! 🤩 I watered her today with 1.5g of de-chlorinated water with 1 tsp/g of unsulfured molasses added which was then ph'd to 6.4 @ 72℉. The molasses will give the microbial colony some additional food as well as supplying micro-nutrients to the plant. I finished out the daily maintenance giving her a check over and turning her pot 1/4 turn to ensure she gets light to every inch of her. 10/1- Yesterday was a 'no water' day as her pot was still fairly heavy to lift. Today she was watered with her usual of 1.5g of de-chlorinated water which was ph'd to 6.2 @ 72℉. happy out again this week at the shape of things. Sweet Sweeds dominant tent was down overall because of a F up on light regime. pins out of place lol. ok so all fixed. taking their topping and training like champs. merry christmas everyone. a lot of foliar spray to help the recovery. silicate a bit, algae mix.

I did run into a few complications that hampered the grow.The 2 P's came into play on this one. PPM and PH I also had an issue with the pump art first but that was corrected quickly. I will grow this strain again in the future😎

I am very happy with the Chiquita Bananas in the end. Clones were total seed factories but I think we may have a go at making some hash with those as the foot long buggers are caked in crystal.. 62g and 63g . Plant 1 is just a monster for me 365g wet. Long dense buds thick dank smell of tropical sweets. Not as much seed as I thought there would be so glad I was convinced to push her a bit more. Plant 2 is smaller but has taken a pure turn in the last week.i don't think she was stressed at Al. I did switch to just water for last 10 days but apart from that I dunno. I don't think she has any thing with pure in her genetics but either way she looks beautiful. 169g wet from her. Everything is drying for the next 10 days when I shall report back. Coming close to her pollination schedule ...This girl is really taking a log time to flower. I cat wait to see those pistils.

Today is day 40 and she looks like she's starting her third week of flower which is crazy.. as you can see she's starting to produce trichomes already which is awesome... I haven't done anything to her and I think that's how I'm going to grow from now on I'm just going to let them grow naturally because it's the fastest for one and two it's easier lol ... We will see in the next few weeks what she turns into.. That's how I know the crop was harvested too early:( ..... but only because someone started visiting my place of cultivation and took my two girls, and left two, so that he wouldn't come back a second time and take them, I decided to cut her down earlier:( that's it such news awaited me when I returned from vacation, but overall the girl looked very beautiful, although she got a lot of stress when the snails ate her, but she endured it and recovered very well:) I will dry the bigger flowers and make bubble hash from the rest, good luck to everyone be careful in nature :).

I sowed cantaloupe bag seeds directly to flower box drip irrigation.I transplanted my white widow seedling to flower box. So the new line up this run is cantaloupe, blueberry, Girl Scout cookies and white widow. Cantaloupe seeds sprouted and i will keep the most vigorous grower.bb is throwing pistils.GSC is producing first set of true leaves. At the end of week 2 cantaloupe has first leaves so does white widow. My Gsc has first set of true leaves and my blueberry is putting out pistils and trichs.Things are going well

Today marks the start of Week 6, Day 2 for the grow, and I’ve got a few updates. The PPMS aren’t quite where I want them after the last couple of feeds, so I’ll be continuing with higher feeds to bring those levels back up. It’s a bit of a balancing act, but I’m staying on top of it. I also made the decision to flip the light schedule from 16/8 to 12/12 today to initiate the flowering phase. I’m excited to see the plants start stretching and showing their full potential. It’s a big step, and I’m feeling good about the direction things are heading. Happy growing! 🌱💡🌿
