Exciting news: we’ve added a new member to our grow tent – a praying mantis! 🦗 Her species is Timor shield mantis, and she still needs a name. We decided to get her to help with pest control naturally. Praying mantises are excellent predators and can help keep unwanted insects away from our plants. Feel free to suggest a name for her! Big update today: we’ve switched the timer to a 12/12 light cycle to initiate the flowering phase! 🌸 Our plants have developed a nearly complete and dense canopy, and we believe they’re ready to start blooming. This change should encourage them to shift their energy towards producing buds. For those following along, here’s a quick recap: We've implemented a SCROG net to manage the canopy and ensure even light distribution. We've introduced a Timor shield mantis for natural pest control. The plants have responded well to all adjustments and are looking healthy. Hi to everyone who watches Report. The ninth week of flowering began there. Blueberries look and smell. Deliciously. Follow the advice of the master. I decided not to radically remove the leaves and I removed only the largest ones. I prepare the plants for the log house so I stop using mineral water for a while

Beautiful pheno the one that I have right here, I didn't expect to see such a great pheno of Jack orange, the buds are very dense already, it's not the strongest smelling plant in this run however she has a very unique and different smell, you can feel some citric tones mixed with sweet flowery notes, it's really weird in a good way, stay tuned to see how this lady performs until the end!! 💚❤️💛👨‍🌾

Not sure why the other seeds didn’t germinate. One of the other Bananacane’s started to but died off upon sprouting

Last day on veg stage, today I will do some pruning and switch them to flower finally :)

👉The spread of the nutrient issue seem to have halted. The damage is done and can be seen in the yellowed sections of some of the fan leaves. The majority of the issues are also in the brightest areas under the lights. I had raised the lights to 23" and moved one of the ceiling fans to blow on the top of the plant more. I still have some burned tips but I am not worried about that too much. The frost is very thick and the aroma is getting stronger, a nice sweet funky stank. Touching the flowers leaves more of a lemony solvent scent. The frost extends out on some of the larger sugar leaves quite a bit. The colas will be long and dense. 👉The nutrient mixture was made to be in the high end of the recommended range of the Mid Bloom week 8 mixture on the General Hydroponics Drain to waste feed chart. I have increased the frequency of H20nly irrigation events. The EC isn't spiking, but it does climb slowly. The pH of the run-off stays pretty consistent in the target range. The fertigation logs are in the pix for each week. I started blending week 8 to week 9 and will be at week 9 and maybe 10 by next week.

As usual my grows take forever. Healthy... just slow growth. Ph is good. Runoff EC is good. Lights 150w at 17". Humidity 59 Temps 79

On day 1 I adjusted the PH of my reservoir from 6.3 to 6.1. On day 2 the PH was 6.0. On day 3 the buds are really bulking up :) and the reservoir is at 6.0. On day 4 I applied a BTI drench Ph of 6.0. This should be the final application for any remaining fungus gnats. The reservoir's PH is also 6.0. On day 5 I had to PH up my reservoir to 6.2. When I get to the last half of my reservoir the PH seems to dive down instead of up. On day 6 the reservoir PH is 6.3. On day 7 I adjusted the PH of the reservoir to 6.1 and did my final defoliation before harvest. I have one cola that may have gotten pollen somehow... I cant find any male pollen sacks anywhere on my plants so it's kind of a mystery at the moment. Only time will tell and all my other colas seem unaffected.

I am not sure what the deal is with the Chibans. They look mutant to me maybe due to pollination. There is so much crystal forming up on them and they still look beautiful. Plant 1 is huge with big colas that are fragrant and very very sticky to the touch. Plant 2 looks the most normal as far as bud structure to me. She has not got the same flattened of tops but instead are more cone like . Also very very crystal heavy Clones 1 and 2 look like monsters to me. Their buds are bulbous and fat with a very flat round top and quite a bit larger then golf balls! I have never seen bud look like this but then I have never had pollination issues and watched the plants quite as much as I am at the moment. We will keep going with them and see what we get. I hope for some smokable bud and also some Sherbert banana seeds maybe🤪👍👍. Thanks for looking. Stay safe. Grow well.🌱🌱

Really fun plant to grow out I got just over a quarter pound dry, I really dig the taste of this lady like a pastry of some kind with a cherry finish. Over all excellent finished product very pleased about it.

Starting week 6 of flower and everything is growing nicely and stinking up the place. This strain is not a huge yielder but it makes up for it in quality! Buds will still bulk up quite a bit in these last few week (she’s goes to 9 weeks). I will be doing 1 more defoliation of some bigger fan leaves that are blocking the light to the lower canopy sometime this week. Other than that the girls are cruising right along.

Hello growers and tokers! 👋 👩‍🌾 🧑‍🌾.🔥💨 Hope you had a great week because these ladies sure have! 😍 They're starting to get that sweet aroma this strain gives off, her aroma will be over powering my tent in full flower. Love it! Pictures and info were taken on day 12 of flower. I put 71cm tall because that's the average between the three girls. CC 1: 78cm CC 2: 68cm CC 3: 68cm CC 1 is killing it with the double main colas. 💪 💪 🤩 CC2 is my favorite. She's got a perfect shape, nice evenly distributed canopy. Took LST great. For me that's the goal when I do LST. CC3 doesn't fall behind in any way, she's looking great. There's a bunch of new growth everywhere so after 21 days i'll be doing some pretty heavy selective defoliation. Feeding 1,5L each, every other day. Will be increasing as they ask for more. How do they ask for more? When feeding if the soil is drier than normal I give a 150-200ml increment of water. I do that until they stop feeding so much then i just maintain that amount. I start reducing if it takes longer to dry. That works good for me. The old finger in the dirt trick. 👍 Nothing like knowing exactly what your ladies need first hand. They've got a lovely green lush color. It's a delight growing this strain. I'll have to get me some more seeds for next run because this is a strain that will always have a spot in my garden. 😍 😍 Hope you enjoyed this week's update and stay tuned for next week. Both seedlings in peat tablets were put in an own fabric pot (15l each) on 20 Sept 2023. The soil was mixed with Top Crop Micro Vita powder (5g to15l) and put in each pot onto the layer of expanded clay balls. One leave of one of two plants was damaged, thanks to my dog. The grow-tent is IKEA tent, it is open. The temperature is a bit high, so I'm going to add a fan to make it cooler. Also reflecting coverage inside is planned.

In week 8 iv come to the sad realization that nearly all of the plants are at different stages of development. Dispite all the seeds being germinated at the same time. So iv had to take them off the wilma systems and am feeding them manually and there all on different diets. Which is an absolute headache especially as there is 16 plants to tend too. I think iv bit off abit more than I can chew for my first grow I maybe should have started with a couple of plants. I think the large wilma setups are designed for clones really so you know they are all going to progress and eat the same amount at once. It's not for autos . There all looking healthy though:)
