Started the week off well from the big defoliations and adjustings yesterday. Upped the feed amounts per litre but still diluting them down a bit and in the case of the Cookies just feeding plain water for 2 of every 3 days. This carried on all week with buds and smell starting to build very nicely indeed!

Day 6 - all is well with both plants. Organic molasses teanyo be used going forward to increase sugar and flavour

20/01/2025 Seedlings have definitely grown in size! Bottom watered again today. Mixed 3L solution of Calmag, Growell Plus 8:8:8, Seaweed extract (2ml / 1ml / 1ml) and watered 1L per pot. Solution was sucked dry from tray relatively fast, guess the roots are growing. 21/01/2025 Measured PPFD / DLI today and found that my existing light had a relatively low ppfd value output. Reading 50 plus PPFD / 4.5 DLI at 24 inch height 75% power, generating insane amounts of heat if the grow tent is closed. Thing is the max ppfd is about 150 at 24 inches. Can't bring down the lights more without potentially causing light burn due to the high DLI low ppfd ratio. Fortunately I have the tent in a temperature controlled room so I had to leave the tent open to ensure there was good airflow cooling down the excess heat without causing too much of a temp shift. Managed to bring up the humidity by adding a larger humidifier maintaining 60 to 70 % range. Did myself a favour and ordered the vivosun aerolight a200se to go along with the rest of the vivosun kit. Hoping it arrives by week 3! Besides this, seedlings look healthy, did some foliar feeding with homemade wood vinegar (5ml to 1L) after lights out. 22/01/2025 I almost killed my plants with light lol. Turns out my existing light was putting up alright dishing out 1200 pfd from 24 inches at max. I noticed some skewed reading when I was tilting my phone screen so decided to take off the screen protector and damn.. ppfd was at 800 ppfd! It was the screen protector not the lights 😆 Since there were no signs of yellowing or wilting I decided to keep it at 400 ppfd. Bottom watered with 1L each of (2ml CalMag / 1ml Growell Plus 8:8:8 / 1ml Seaweed to 3L phed to 5.9) had about 100 ml excess after waiting for 10 mins so I drained out the excess. 23/01/2025 Fortunately my blunder with the lights didn't cost me too much. Plants still looking healthy, 3rd set of true leaves opening up.

Week 21: Decided to Flush the medium with pH tap water and reduce ppm to 850 in case of nutrient burn or toxicity.

The Beans was popped into a wet paper, the greenthubs was fantastic, not the same as the runtz muffin by Barney's farm she was very strange and now she looks very busy and short 🤯🤷

The lighting intensity is at 833 PPFD, and the solution in the reservoir is fine-tuned to a pH of 6.22, EC of 475, with a temp of 21.8°C. Let’s talk pH in the reservoir: it’s a dynamic process, and I’m constantly adjusting it to keep everything at the right level. The pH tends to rise throughout the week, and each day, I work it back down, fine-tuning it to keep those plants happy and balanced. Managing pH is truly a hands-on job, and it’s worth every moment. I love staying on top of it for optimal nutrient uptake—it’s all about consistent effort and keeping that perfect range dialed in. Leaf Maintenance & Selective Defoliation These leaves are HUGE and gorgeous, creating a lush canopy that’s nearly too perfect! I’ve been taking a few leaves here and there, focusing on leaves that may be blocking light from reaching lower parts of the plant. Selective defoliation at this stage is key because it opens up airflow and allows light to penetrate deep, boosting energy distribution across the whole plant. Big, healthy leaves mean we’re getting excellent photosynthesis, but a gentle, strategic defoliation can guide that energy toward those developing buds. “The Wock” 7 Weeks🤙🏾 Ladies are crushing its! I’ve for sure found 2 phenols I want to keep going based on structure and growth. The first was actually going to be a throw away. I didn’t like how lanky she was in her solocup stage. I instead topped her to slow down lateral grown and threw her in a 2 gallon bag to do her thing. She is now in a 7 gallon bag and has the best structure of them alll IMO. My 2nd pheno is a Tri-leaf mutation and it throws tops like no other! The perfect mother plant and is why I chose her as pheno #2. The 2 plants that were topped at the 5th node are bushing out more and more, just like it like it. There are 2 natural growing plants are doing great as well. They have nice bushing with one main cola. All plants will be defoliated 5 days before flip. Been a great week, not much to say on the dynomyco as it's early stages but im sure to see major improvement over the next week! I will say at this early stage though I do have alot of stable new growth so shows something is working in them roots but as for my females now, wow it's already shown it's work there as I used it on transfer and mixed Into the medium of the rear females so I'm impressed being a first time user! I will say i have learned alot about it following ari and the firebudz team on Instagram, so if anyone needs any pointers check them out they run classes too! Day 50 - Starting week 8 and nothing much to complain about. She’s in SoHum soil so didn’t think she needed any nutes but it does look like some leaves look like she’s hungry so I’ll give her till her next watering and if she’s still looking like that, I’ll give her a light dose of nutes. Her leaf edges are curling a bit too and I moved her around in the tent cause I think the wind was hitting her too much, so we’ll see how this works. Day 51 - Nothing new today, just did a little more leaf tucking today and already put her back but noticed a couple branches that are getting a bit long so will probably see if they’re still flexible enough to tie down, if not, I’ll let em grow. Day 52 - Starting to get a little too light in color so thinking she definitely needs her first round of nutes. Haven’t given any to this point because SoHum is supposedly a water only soil but I think she’s starting to get hungry. Went ahead and tied down two other branches but third one was too stiff but it was the shorter of the three so she’ll be ok. Day 53 - Nothing new today other than I removed a couple yellow fan leaves towards the bottom and a couple others that are blocking the light to a few bud sites. Day 55 - Still looking good but some leaves are yellowing a bit and think it’s due to it feeding her at all. So long as the buds keep developing and fattening, I think she’ll be ok. Should be ready for some water in another day or two. Day 56 - Ending another week today and all seems to be going well still. The soil was dry today so gave her a little over a gallon of water. Other than that, I tucked a few leaves and put her back in the tent.
