This week started out well. After topping both sides started growing pretty quickly. Later on in the week I decided to see how flexible the new branches were, they seemed pretty flexible so I wanted to start fixing them down, but not too low. Sadly one of the branches snapped off. I quickly tried to reattach it, but it got loose and died off. New plan, I left the second node intact to fill up some possibly empty spaces, but now they will have to serve as the right side of the manifold. Part of the timelapse is a bit weird as the camera kept sliding out of position because of the wire pulling it down, but that should be fixed now.

Well, its been a very hot, hum8d and dry week. Well, over a week since we got rain, weeks since we've had a good downpour. The streambed is too low, and if this keeps up I'll have to truck water from the house. Despite the lack of rain everyone is doing well. The ladies are really stretching now that they're in flower and I'm happy with how everyone looks. I found another liquid fish fertilizer that's a 3-2-2 vs the Alaska brand 4-1-1 I was using before so I think this will work out even better for flower. And it's local!

Day 22: Hi all , hope we are all well. The Gluberry male has been banished now and wont be making another sneak attack ever again !. The remaining Glueberry ( #2) is now able to have her 1st gym session ( no social distancing or masks needed!). She has been bent over from her 4th node( no sniggering at the back !) so that her 5th(main) takes a horizontal path to the pots edges. The other growth below should form up similar to a quadline . Inwill allow it to go vertical when the flowering begins which should create 5 mains to develop into long chunky colas. Being an attempt to find my own best use of autos in this environment I use , is proving to be fun so far. Inhave other strains ( in my diaries here) that are being trained using this and other methods to again , see 1st hand what works for me. The Mimosa Lemon is doing really well too. she had her 1st session a few days ago and is responding perfectly so far. Both of these ladies are looking really healthy and green so far . I have not done a total soak of the medium yet and have been watering just outside of the plants leaf footprint. This is to encourage the rootball to set itself up for the flowering cycle and an important foundation for their overall possible yield. The seed(s) were soaked overnight with regular filtered water that was aerated. Seeds were then placed in 1 gal plastic pots. I usually start my seeds in 5 gal fabric pots but I was limited on space. Also doing more strains at one time than usual so I can have some variety of clones available for friends and family. Instead I decided to germinate my seeds in 1 gal this time and see how things went but had a harder time with a few of them. It was not until the seedlings got fee compost tea they started to take off. I was unable to get vermiculite or perlite at the store at the time of starting the seeds so I mixed some violet mix i had sitting around had some mixed in it. The mix was mostly peat and lava rock left over and worm castings with some gia green 4-4-4 and glacial rock dust. Mosquito bits were also added. Once the seeds sprouted I added some microbes and fungi powder. In the future If I have the space will stick to doing my seed starting in 3-5 gal fabric pots.

A great week for these autos! I’ve slowly increased the feed as I go and they’re loving the environment! I was doing better last time but this is the things with autos they run in their own fashion! Just spring into action when ready different phenos and characteristics which change late sometimes! But proved the comparison by not using dynomyco this time (only in the photos) shows the difference in the early stages!

First week of flower! After the 48 hour dark period, the budsites turned bright green. This faded a bit over the next week to become green like the rest of the plants. I'm starting to see repro signs and looks like I've a few males so I'll be keeping a close eye on them! A few days later I decided to quarantine the males so I chucked them outside on my back porch to decide if i wanted to chop completely or maybe finish growing on my roof? My concern was that pollen would float fro mthe roof right into my windows, making its way into the tent and pollinating the ladies... By the end of the week the largest plant was showing it would be overpowering the others, heightwise, so I decided to supercrop it, despite being in the beginning of stretch, now was the time to. Water ph'd to roughly 6, no additional nutes added at this time.

Royal Queen seeds are amazing. The plant is very healthy and growing in a fast rate. The plant did its 4 weeks of veg which i am very greatfull for. Now we will start flowering 💪

First pistils came through this week! Switched the 'bloom' switch on the light to double LED count and add the red to the spectrum. Defoliated lower growth again on day 45 before noticing the pistil 48 hours later. Spotted a nutrient burn, and that I haven't been watering until enough runoff so possible nute/salt buildup? I also realised the plant was drooping before feeding so going to increase feed volume to keep the coco more moist. A nice amount of main colas considering her rough childhood. Fed no nutrients from day 47-49, just feeding 5.8pH water to reduce salt content. Water was 60PPM at 5.8pH and after 8L still got 500PPM runoff. Definitely need to change feeding method. as the second week of June is just on it's end and the weather has had it's ups and downs with a lot of rain and some nice sunny days the plants keep growing day by day. The tallest plant reached a height of 86 centimeters or 33.85 inch so i'm getting close to the 1 meter mark. But hopefully they will grow much bigger as they have plenty of time left. Last year i a grew Blue Dream and a Chocolope in pots which reached a total height of 1,38 meter, which both yielded 30 grams each. What i should mention about the plants from last year is that the seeds weren't bought but came out of a friends weed. So this year it was all out with premium seeds, more knowledge and experience, great soil and hopefully the best weather

While this plant didn't produce much bud what it did produced was pounds of experience. This was the first autoflower I've ever grown and is my most successful grow to date. I made mistakes but I learned so much. Can't wait to try this one again.

A lot happened this week. Started LST, Main-Lining and defoliation for a bigger yield in the end. When i start these 3 methods, is around the time i start to use nutriens. I like to to keep it as natural as posible.. Using the 3-1 from "PH perfect" (Micro, Bloom n' Grow). When using these 3 subs, its not necessary to use PH+ or PH-. I got some yellow tips, might be nutrien burn or light stress. Dno, its not a huge problem - gonna put the full spec to 50% for a few days.
