Willkommen zur achten Woche – Blütewoche 4 liegt hinter uns Wouw – acht Wochen sind schon wieder vorbei! Leider kommt das Update diesmal etwas verspätet, da mich eine Krankheit kurzfristig ausgebremst hat. Die Woche selbst verlief allerdings sehr ruhig. Die tägliche Arbeit ist inzwischen auf ein absolutes Minimum gesunken, da die Ladys ihre Routine gefunden haben und konstant weiterarbeiten. Die Entwicklung bleibt – wie in den Wochen zuvor – durchweg hervorragend. Fast die gesamte Blütezeit liegt bisher im absoluten Sweetspot, was sich nicht nur sehen, sondern trotz Filter und konstantem Unterdruck auch deutlich riechen lässt. Das Terpenprofil ist bereits jetzt sehr ausgeprägt. Es verteilt einen intensiven, süßen Duft im Raum, der stark an Zitrone, Limone und andere fruchtige Aromen erinnert. Besonders spannend ist dabei, dass sich die Aromen trotz der Geruchsfilterung gut durchsetzen – ein deutlicher Hinweis auf ein kräftiges Terpenprofil und gesunde Pflanzen. In puncto Wachstum hat vor allem die kleine Nachzüglerin in dieser Woche ordentlich aufgeholt. Mit über 37 cm Zuwachs steht sie nun bei beachtlichen 98 cm. Die Pflanze unten rechts hat sich auf 105 cm gestreckt, oben rechts misst nun 83 cm. Und der dominante Sativa-Phänotyp hat es mittlerweile sogar auf stolze 130 cm geschafft. Da sich das Höhenwachstum bei den meisten weitgehend abgeschlossen hat, geht nun sichtbar mehr Energie in die Ausbildung der Blütenstände – und das merkt man. Die Buds haben in der letzten Woche ordentlich an Volumen und Harz zugelegt und wirken schon jetzt vielversprechend. Nährstofftechnisch habe ich Green Sensation inzwischen durch Canna PK 13/14 ersetzt. Zusätzlich kam Cannazym zum Einsatz, um die große Wurzelmasse gesund zu halten und den Stoffwechsel zu unterstützen. Leaf-Tucking wird weiterhin regelmäßig angewendet, um den unteren Trieben Licht zu verschaffen, ohne die Pflanzen unnötig zu belasten. Zudem wurden die Ladys in dieser Woche ein letztes Mal entlaubt, um die Luftzirkulation zu verbessern und den Fokus voll auf die Blütenbildung zu lenken. Besonders zufrieden bin ich aktuell mit der Klimasteuerung – VPD, Luftfeuchtigkeit und Temperatur sind sehr stabil und genau im gewünschten Bereich. Das schafft optimale Bedingungen für die Photosynthese und fördert die Harzbildung in dieser entscheidenden Phase. Insgesamt bleibt es spannend. Der Platz im Zelt ist inzwischen sichtlich zu knapp, was die Luftzirkulation und Lichtverteilung etwas erschwert. Trotzdem bin ich sehr zufrieden mit dem bisherigen Verlauf und freue mich auf die kommenden Wochen – denn jetzt geht es langsam auf die Zielgerade zu.

Day 42: Went on vacation for 3 weeks, asked a friend to take care of my plants and make pictures and videos. He gave them feedings, did some defoliation but it is hard from a distance to guide him how to train or to defoliate.

12 days to full transplantable roots. Right on schedule as expected. Moved 6 of the 12 clones (1 per plant) into a new 45L Rez that I cobbled together in an evening. Just small enough to fit into the cabinet. Hopefully the roots don’t choke each other out for territory while we work to reveg, re-flower and ultimately seed em all for the new F3 line. We’ll pick the best buds from the lot for the next testing run once we see what the pheno variation looks like from the main run in the tent. It’s a process and annoyance not to be yielding bud off a grow cycle but it is what it is if you want your own signature stuff. Alls good for now. Let’s just hope that the 6 coats of paint I threw on the lid is enough to keep out the grow light penetration🤞. Shoulda used black, whatever.

So Ill start by talking about her smell. Maria has been super super low key in that so far my room has not stank of weed super badly. My room was fresh and had a herby comforting lining, but no blue-cheese-skunk-on-the-loose type scenario. But when you frisked up Maria, a persons nostrils might describe it something like ...walking through a mystical forrest eating your favourite candy, after you've just blessed a fat one with Bob Marley.. its a feeling not a smell. But if you were to describe it, its like a summer fucking cocktail' bish. She has also started to show some red hairs, Id say about 1/3 of her hair is ginger at this point. I think a point to note is that she has been drinking a lot more water (About 3l water every 3 days) as she's bulked up and started to shine. Im super happy with the grow so far; Ive made mistakes, and not all circumstances have been ideal. BUT, its been such a rewarding experience so far and I'm also glad I got to start with fucking dank genetics from Dinafem. You guys are fuckin' super stars. Ive been supplementing her with some LOVE. I can not get over how beautiful it is?! Cannabis is just so mystical? Being my first grow I'd still never got to see a late flowering cannabis plant in my life! I grew up in Dubai where Cannabis is hecticly-illegal, and lived in cities thereafter most my life. Maria is like a child who I will later kill in her sleep before she wakes up and hang upside down in my cupboard to dry out. But I truly love this plant.

Por dónde empezar, las flores son bien compactas y van repletas de resina son muy pegajosas, tienen tonos verdes bonitos, y tiene unos aromas dulces y exóticos bastante marcados con toques terrosos. Es muy sencilla de cultivar, es de ciclo de 2 meses y medio, pero bien agradecida, tiene buenos satélites, de las que plante de fastbuds, podría decir que mi favorita hasta el momento. Germinated some seeds from a bag. Not sure if the grower just accidentally pollinated his flower room or if the plants will have hermy genetics /: Either way I've always wanted to grow and currently in a good situation to do so. Once the seeds popped I started doing a ton of research but the plants were moving quicker than I could possibly get up to speed so kinda winging it at this point. I have some good seeds on the way so treating these as "warm-ups" and will be experimenting with different types of training and hopefully just getting the basics under my belt. The largest plant (Big Mumma) popped her roots out the jiffy bag before the end of wk 1 so I pulled off the netting and transplanted her into a 5L fabric pot with Canna Coco mixed w/ 30% perlite. At this point I'm watering with rainwater and mixing with the recommended dose of Professors Go Green (guy at the hydro store recommended I use it as cal-mag). I do not have a way to measure the EC or PH as I'm waiting for my meters to arrive. The tent arrived by the end of the week and I got it setup and transplanted the rest of the girls.

My favorite strain for some reason. It always survives, I thought one seed died. So I planted another...week later the other one grew. Survived mealy root bugs and all the insect soap, neem oil both altered the pH massive 5 to 9 fluctuation burned other plants but she kept going. She's smells like chewing gum fresh when I grind her up. I only dry for a day or over night because I do 4 smaller colas that don't take much time to dry. Got about an 1/2 oz or something, I trim and smoke as I go along, my grow tent is like my refrigerator , I just take some when I need it. 😎👍
