Hello. Got the plants into the main grow room. There is 2 videos . In the first I just sit in the room quitly and turn the camera. you get a sense :) of what it's like in there. In the second I try to describe what's in the room, equipment and maybe a new technique. With the tomato cages I use, and needing the plant to slow down, I twist the stock into a large figure 8. Eventually I take off what is on the lower part of the 8, and just work the top of the 8. About 2 weeks in veg in this room. Then I take clones of everything before I switch to flower. >Carbon dioxide enhancement: I had to make that choice 20 years ago. I could, rent a tank and have my name on a list, at the gas store. Or make my own. They didn't have the small propane tanks like they do today for the blue flame you get when you burn it. I decided on a kerosene lamp burning down as low as it could be without going out. It makes a half blue and half yellow flame. I vent constantly so the small amount of carbon monoxide is not a problem. For the first week you can smell it a bit, but the smell disappears after that. I light the lamp in the morning and put it out at lights out (unless it's bed time). It needs to be put in a place in the room that cant get knocked over (pets, children, ?). I try to use extra attention whenever I use it. It can burn down the place. Be careful Please. >About 17 years ago I thought I'd lower my table by knocking a hole in the cement and dropping my 10 gallon reservoir more. I was able to lower it by 16 inches. Still have to watch the height of some plants though, it worked out well. Watch the video. > Air cleaner: The reason I got a big 8 inch exhaust fan was, I had a bout of powder mildew and needed better a exhaust system. When I plugged it in there was too much air moving. I phoned and asked and the salesman said that a dimmer switch wasn't a good idea. I put one on anyway. Works great. I have the fan barely on in the winter and about half way on in the middle of the summer. I haven't had any powdery mildew since. About 12 years ago I bought a good air cleaner. An ORECK, It has electrified plates that zap any organic particle or spore that come between the plates. Use to grow a Northern Lights that got 6 to 8 ounces per harvest, it grew big buds. Buds as big as my forearm. I had problems with gray mold attaching the buds. But none since I bought the air cleaner. Ya learn as you go.

Nov 9, 2019 Orange Juice (1) – Day 42 Veg/Day 0 Flower (30% Indica/70% Sativa) (63-70 days) Blueberry Headband (2) – Day 42 Veg/Day 0 Flower (70% Indica/30% Sativa) (65-70 days) Cheese (1) – Day 42 Veg/Day 0 Flower (60% Indica/40% Sativa) (50-60 days) Plants got a strong tea as well as a final leaf strip and tie down to spread the canopy. Flipping today. 12/12. Drying the medium more. Day and night temps will go down by 5°F to 70°F at night/75°F during the day.

Started flush now. I'm adding Nature Delight Active Sugar Boost as it's been recommended to boost terpene production. No idea if it will work this late into flower but trying anyway as apparently it has no need to be flushed and is fully organic.

Day 71 - Starting week 11 and now that I put my Cherry Cookies into 72 hours of darkness, she’s got a ton of room in the tent now. I gave her 2 gallons of water and nutes today and she’s finally starting to develop some trichs. A very small amount right now but they’re finally starting to show a little. Day 72 - Nothing really new going on today. She seems to like having a bit more room in the tent now. She’s doing good on water and should be for another couple of days. I just removed a few lower dead leaves today and tucked everything back down. Day 73 - Nothing really new today, just letting her fatten up and finally starting to get a little bit of frost on her. Gonna need to give her some water and nutes tomorrow. Day 75 - Went just a bit too long before giving her water. Pulled her out today and extremely droopy but gave her a good 2 gallons of water and nutes to hopefully perk her back up. Had a few more dead leaves at the bottom so removed them and I’ll check on her in a few hours to see if she’s perked up at all. Day 76 - Overall she’s looking good and looks like she’s getting a pinkish color forming. It’s also looking like she might have a Cal-Mag deficiency going on so will up the Cal-Mag the next feeding to hopefully help her out. Day 77 - The end of week 11 and she going along nicely still. She’s going to need some water and nutes tomorrow so I’m going to up the Cal-Mag this feeding. Instead of 5ML per gallon, I’m going to up it to 10ML and hopefully that will help her pull through her deficiency she’s got going right now.

Made it to harvest w 2 so far! Oozecake is a couple extra days. Boy she tastes amazing! Will ice her tomorrow and put her in 48 hrs of dark before I harvest. What an experience it has been! Can’t wait to try after the cure.

A good first week from all the girls overall. They continue to develop as planned. They got watered with the spray bottle until Friday when they got a real watering. This girl is doing okay. Worse growth for this girl cause she fell over after watering. This is the same one that struggled in the beginning to maintain its shape. If anything, she'll make for a smaller plant. 6’-4” & 5’-8” as of today, 6’-0” average height. These ladies are beautiful! Everyone who comes by the house just stops and stares when they get near my garden. So do I 👍🤣 I had to move some plants outdoors from my indoor grow due to losing the battle to high heat and humidity. Two are super close to harvest, one might get cut over the weekend. This was a fun little project with a few ups and downs. Overall it was a success. I managed to get 86 Seeds off of the two plants, this is a smaller number but given that I started the pollination about 2-3 weeks late I am impressed. Top this all off with the fact I was using 10ppm silver solution for the majority of the reversing process and only had 30ppm for about a single week near the end. Moving forward if I plan on reversing anymore plants I will be investing in some STS vs Silver solution. It's easier to use and has stronger results. I also managed to get 25g of bug from the plants as well that I will infuse into some butter. Not to worry these are not the branches that where sprayed with silver and they have been cut off and disposed of in the composter. When I decide to grow these out I'll try and create a new diary and test if the CBD/THC ratios remain intact, if the plants are viable. I have not tested the germination rate on these seeds and for all I know they are duds or will not resemble their back-crossed parents. This is my first seed making project and so much is new and unknown to me. Have had lots of help along the way from some good GD friends. Tried to post lots of photos and products I used. The photos labelled [PREVIOUS HARVEST] where when I first grew this wonderful strain out. It has the same peppery kush smell and crazy deep purples as it first did. I did shock these plants with a heavy feeding that stunted them greatly, I also transplanted them when I should have started them off in their forever pot. This was all explained in the weekly entries when it happened and why. overall the autos are not heavy yielding but more average for an auto and that's ok with me. Its the smells, taste colours and CBD contest that draw me to it. Somethings to note from the diary, most of the liquid nutrients are diving by how much water I gave them, typically 4L. Solid nutrients are divided per litre of medium in the pots or they are the total amounts I added. Just ask if you have Questions.

Day 57. Cold week, going fine.

My final week is here. She’s fading out, id like to have seen her hold her colour a little longer although the leaves around the bud sites are still a nice green colour. buds are tight and dense. More to follow as the week goes on. Update…. I’m 7 days into drying, she’s starting to dry at the heads and gets more sticky the further down the branch. Next grow I’ll definitely lollipop to the top 2 nodes as I’ve found she’s a little “airy down below”. I’ll strip the branches in another 5-7 days.

We have a runner. She's growing to the sun 🌞 can't wait to get her outside. The male I grew was extremely tall I'm going to keep her short and bushy, hopefully. One of my favorite daytime strains for an uplifting mood that I've had so far.
